Blue Parrot Beach Villa est une villa au design antique en béton et bois à Ambalangoda au Sri Lanka. La villa a deux chambres à coucher climatisées dont les lits sont couverts de moustiquaires et chaque chambre avec salle de bain familiale. Une cuisine entièrement équipée est prête à l'emploi. Devant la maison se trouve un magnifique jardin de plage, où vous pourrez vous détendre à l'ombre et admirer l'océan Indien. We spent wonderfull holidays in this villa. The location could not be better.

Sudath ist a great guesthoster, and always available for any wish we had. He has also a great team. The two ladies preparing breakfast and cleaning the hause are really nice and you can order your dinner if you want. Sudath recomannded us a tuk-tuk driver who was really suitable and as all the people in Sri Lanka so friendly. We also have to thank Chaminda our taxi driver with whom we spend so nice time in Ella. The house is very clean and pleasant. We really felt at home. We really recommend this house and we will come back. Sri Lanka is a beautifull island and we had one of our best holidays. Relaxing

This is a great beach villa, this was our last stop of our tour of Sri Lanka and we were all ready for a rest! The villa is great for that, right on the beach and a tuktuk ride away from the next town. It had everything we needed: 2 good bedrooms and full working kitchen. The team were great and looked after us superbly well. All requests were catered for including shopping, cooking meals, extra towels. Our trip coincided with Sri Lankan New Year and everyone is on holiday - the Blue Parrot team ensured we were well looked after. Absolutely loved it.

You will love it!!! It s paradise on earth!!!!

Sudath, the owner, and his staff spoilt and helped us whenever we needed his advice. He has very good connections to tourguides and drivers at reasonable prices. We enjoyed very nice breakfast selection and tasteful local dinner dishes. We did not even think about going to restaurants... Perfect location to slow down and refill the batteries and to start a roundtrip throughout sri lanka. Quiet and beautiful beach without tourists and beach boys. Very impressing to watch the fishermen retrieving their nets every morning.

Jättefin villa vid fantastisk strand!

Om du vill bort från stora opersonliga hotellkomplex och överfyllda stränder, är blue parrot villa det perfekta valet! En jättefin rymlig villa direkt på en fantastisk lång sandstrand, som du nästan har helt för dug själv! Vattnet är lugnt med mindre vågor, så perfekt för bad. Du har en första parkett för solnedgången direkt från din egen uteplats. Det finns inga restauranger på gångavstånd, men det spelar ingen roll, eftersom du får den bästa lankesiska maten serverad på din egen uteplats! Jag åt där den absolut bästa avokadoröra med grillade räkor, som jag nånsin ätit! Skulle du tröttna på lugnet ioch stillheten är det enkelt att ta en rickshaw till Hikkaduwa. Sudath och hans personal är fantastiskt trevliga och serviceinriktade. Sudath hjälper till och ordnar utflykter i omgivningen och transport till/ från flygplatsen. Little paradise at the beach

We were four people, one couple with two friends, and stayed four nights. The house is situated directly at a long and lonely beach. All rooms are beautifully furnished. Each of the two bedrooms has its own bathroom. Our friends got even two separate beds. Some footsteps and you're into the sea with great waves. All food was very tasty and made with love. Owner and staff were very friendly and helpful, they've even done our laundry without taking money for. The next little town is not far away but you need to take a tuktuk. Hikkaduwa is about 15 km away. It's nice for going out, eat and drink at the sea, but the beach there is nothing compared to the one you have in front of the beach villa. We highly recommend it!

Stunning location, property, food and service!

This was a beautiful villa next to the beach, well furnished and equipped in every room and cleaned every day. The food was amazing ( so we ate dinner in most evenings) but most important of all - Sudath and his family were so friendly, and full of information and advice, that they really made this a holiday to remember. To anyone looking to visit this villa, we would say ‘ listen to his advice and follow it ! Enjoy beautiful Sri Lanka.

Peace and tranquility!

The property was clean and functional and as described in the photos. Amazing access to the beach which we had pretty much to ourselves. The children were safe to play by themselves whilst we watched on from the verandah. The accommodation was well equipped and the staff on hand were very helpful and conscientious. Breakfast was delicious both the traditional and Sri Lankan options, we also tried many of the dishes from the menu which were very tasty and good value. Our host was around everyday to offer advice, recommendations and arrange anything we needed - transport, massages etc. I would highly recommend this place and hope to return myself in the future.

Great Authentic Experience

Our family stayed in Blue Parrot Villa for 6 nights in March 2018. The villa came recommended by a friend who had stayed there previously. It made for a great authentic experience. The villa is functional and pretty, the beach is right on the doorstep, and Sudath (the owner) drops by daily to make sure everyone is happy or to offer advice on trips. Our tuktuk and taxi drivers (organised by Sudath) were utter gems, they themselves offered advice regarding places to eat and other places to visit. It was because of this that we felt we really got to the heart of the place, not just seeing Sri Lanka from behind a glass wall. We heard first-hand stories from locals about the tsunami, we watched fishermen bring in their catch, we chatted with the owner of the turtle conservation project down the road from the villa. It was a week full of beautiful experiences with Blue Parrot villa as our base. Things to be noted would be: there are plenty of stray dogs in Sri Lanka and several on the beach in front of the villa. They are friendly and will walk up to the villa door (one dog slept on the outdoor table every night), but it's something to take note of if someone is scared of dogs! Another thing is that the windows at Blue Parrot villa have no insect screens and there is no way of closing parts of them. Stock up on insect repellant and/or incense and/or sprays on your first day. The beds all have nets around them but we often found mosquitoes (huge ones!) lurking within the nets in the evening, so keep an eye out for that. The kitchen tends to get full of ants. We had been warned about this so we took a few zip-lock food bags which served us well as any snacks left on the countertop otherwise would have been a write-off. I would absolutely recommend the Blue Parrot Villa to a friend, bearing in mind the above notes. The staff were excellent and kind (though many times messages didn't get across due to language barriers, wrong food orders, misunderstanding requests etc, so be as clear as possible!), food was delicious (the chicken noodles were a favourite with us!), and our overall experience was a superb one. We were all sad to leave.

Kelly and I stayed at Blue Parrot for our first trip from the United States to Sri Lanka. The house is in perfect condition and has an amazing view! All the pictures shown online are current and accurate. The staff at Blue Parrot cooked amazing meals. Which made lazy nights for us easy if we didn't want to cook or go out. One night the cooking staff got some muscles from the local fisherman and made a delicious dish. The beach is clean and the water is perfect for swimming. Not knowing the area was never a problem. Blue Parrot staff checked in with us daily to make sure we didn't need anything or any help planning day trips. We also had the option of having our room cleaned daily by staff if we wanted to. An amazing experience

It was our second visit at Blue Parrot and I hope that there are many more to come. Everything was absolutely perfect and there are no words to describe the feeling you have in the morning when you wake up to the amazing view of the emerald ocean. Our host, Sudath, made sure we have everything we needed at all times and facilitated all the necessary for us from delicious food to unforgettable trips. The villa is very well located with a privacy that you will rarely find somewhere else, very clean and has all amenities you can think of. Altogether a great experience that I would definitely repeat!

La Colonna sonora dell’ oceano accompagna i momenti indimenticabili di questa vavanza. Ho viaggiato molte volte in Sri Lanka e posso assicurare che questa Location ė la migliore in assoluto!!! Un incanto affacciato sull’oceano. Pur mantenendo fede allo stile locale questa villa ha in dotazione tutti i confort e Sudath con la sua preziosa accoglienza risulta di grande aiuto per qualsiasi necessita o informazione. Gli ambienti della casa luminosi e spaziosi sono addirittura più belli che nelle foto. Paradiso allo stato puro!!! Non mancate di provare le meravigliose espressioni gastronomiche di Priya e Nati

Pretty house on the beach

Very clean and well cared for house on the beach. Very relaxing place and we had beach almost to ourselves. Our host Sudath was welcoming and often stopped by to see if we wanted help with anything. The food was well cooked and delicious. The driver Sudath arranged for us drove in a safe and responsible way and we would definitely go with him again.

Paradise!

We've stayed for 11 nights in December with our family and absolutely loved it! The villa is beautiful and equipped with everything you need, in a stunning location! From the terrace & garden it's just a few steps into the ocean with its ~1.5 km 'private' beach. Occasionally we've met local families or fishermen & a handful other tourists staying at one of the few beach houses - otherwise this stretch of fine sandy beach is completely quiet and private! Sudath & his staff are so friendly and welcoming, they helped us with all our wishes and needs beyond expectations. We especially enjoyed the home-cooked dinners on our terrace, or some fresh fruit juices & coconuts while relaxing under the trees! There are also a lot of options for day trips & tours and Sudath helped us with recommendations & arrangements! For example, the tourist town Hikkaduwa with its beach-bars & restaurants is just a few km down the road for a change of scenery and also trips to Galle or Mirissa are no problem. In our case, we enjoyed this little spot of paradise so much that we almost didn't want to go anywhere else! I'd return anytime for this tranquil perfect holiday spot! The pick-up & return service to the airport is available and makes it so easy to get here in just ~2 hours. Hope to be back soon!

Worth every penny to experience

Excellent place to relax and enjoy on Sri Lankas west coast. A truly personalized experience with very friendly people. All the staff and the owner Sudath made it feel like home even being away from home. The rooms are clean and fantastic. The location has a WOW factor and the view to the ocean is stunning. Doesn't matter if you just want to have a relaxing break from a round trip our a longer beach vacation this please will fits your necessaries. We highly recommend this place to other holidayer's and will definitely come back. Thank you so much for this unforgettable holiday!

I highly recommend Blue Partott Beach Villa for a great holiday. Great villa for 4 people. Very clean. Delicious food. 24h service available. An excellent and helpful manager who will arrange everything you need. Beautiful beach from the villi. Prices negotiable with the manager. I would highly recommend!!!******
