Gorgeous scenery and a peaceful vibe â perfect for both relaxing and exploring with kids. Such a cozy, family-friendly cabin we canât wait to return to!
My family of 5 enjoyed our trip to the Black Hills and our stay in this cabin! It is a fun location not too far from Keystone that feels quiet and tranquil. We are big fans of National Parks and Monuments, which is what brought us to the area. We were mostly active during our days, and only spent time at the cabin in the evening. This is a historic cabin that has been updated with modern conveniences. The only issue I had was because of the unseasonably cool weather, the cabin needed to be closed up and the lack of circulation caused me some breathing issues with the dust and allergens of 100 years. If you have asthma, this might not be the place for you! Otherwise, it was a fun cabin for our adventures.
We enjoyed visiting Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Custer State Park! The buffalo were cool to see and Keystone was a great little place to eat and do a little shopping.
Stayed at the property for a family vacation in the Black hills. Excellent location near enough to all the attractions yet far enough out of town to have solitude. Would stay again
This was a very cute cabin awash with history. Very peaceful with close proximity to Mt Rushmore, Keystone and Custer Park. Wildlife did not disappoint with a huge herd of buffalo being the highlight. Turkeys and deer to greet us in the morning. Will definitely recommend to others!
This cabin was nice- very clean and as advertised in the photos and the listing. Check in was very easy. It is a bit further from Keystone/ Mount Rushmore than I realized, but not too bad. The amenities are minimal (only a few plates and bowl, no soap in the shower), but overall it was a great place to stay.
This is the perfect place for a base camp to hit all the surrounding sites. The beauty of this cabin and surrounding area canât be described with words. If we are in the area again without hesitation this is where I would stay.
We had a great stay! Clean and recently updated cabin with a great location proximity to all the sites/attractions. We're hoping we'll be back soon! Way better bang for our buck than a hotel. Plenty of room for us and two young kids.
Doug and Wendy purchased this cute cabin in 2013 since then we have done an almost complete remodel on it. Now it is our turn to share the beauty and history of this little place that was once a town of it's own! This town was called Glendale and was famous for mining Tin during the time Mt Rushmore was being born!
This property is located just a few miles outside of Keystone off a paved road that is very easy to access. The Glendale cabin is just minutes from most attractions in the hills. You will have all the amentias your own home has to offer.
