Nouvellement rénové l'intérieur, ce chalet confortable offre une belle vue lac et montagne depuis le salon et la chambre avant.

La cuisine pittoresque offre toutes les nécessités. Sont inclus tous les casseroles, les marchandises et les verres plat pour préparer vos propres repas si vous choisissez de.

Le salon dispose d'un cuir Serta canapé qui peut être transformé en un lit ou une position de chaise. Ce canapé est doté de ports USB et des sorties pour recharger vos appareils tout en vous relaxant en appréciant les vues sur le lac. Il y a un "Smart TV Vizio 32 sur le mur que vous pouvez ajuster l'angle de vision.

La chambre avant avec 3 fenêtres offre des vues spectaculaires donnant sur le lac et les montagnes du Vermont. Regarder le lever du soleil du lit chaque matin. Cette chambre dispose d'un lit queen size avec un matelas neuf (2016).

La deuxième chambre a quelques options. Il peut être configuré comme deux lits jumeaux ou un lit king size. Avec l'option king size, nous ajoutons une section de mousse entre les lits pour faire le lit se sentir comme un. Les matelas sont tout nouveau 2016.

La maison offre une salle de bain complète récemment rénové avec une cabine douche.
Le pont surplombe le lac avec vue sur les montagnes du Vermont et du lac Champlain. Il y a des vues sur le port de plaisance ainsi. Profitez assis sur le pont et regarder les bateaux comme ils vont et viennent. Marcher 5 marches à descendre les escaliers et vous êtes dans l'eau. L'eau à l'avant de la maison est claire et propre avec une petite roche et fond de sable.

La cour latérale est une belle zone herbeuse. Il y a beaucoup d'espace pour les jeux de pelouse ou tout simplement se prélasser au soleil et profiter de la vue spectaculaire sur le lac.

Dans la vallée de Champlain, Point Au Roche Lakeside séduit les amoureux de l'aventure, que ce soit sa randonnée, le vélo, le kayak, le ski de fond ou la raquette, vous avez le choix de terrain idéal droit à notre porte. Situé juste au nord de la ville de Plattsburgh, la maison est à quelques minutes de sites historiques, le lac Champlain, des restaurants, des magasins, des sites pittoresques et attractions de la région.

Point Au Roche State Park - Situé juste à côté de nos maisons, le parc offre 12 miles de sentiers avec vue sur le lac Champlain. Il y a aussi une plage et bateau lancement de sable dans le parc.

Ausable Chasm ouvert au public depuis 1870, est l'une des plus anciennes attractions en Amérique du Nord. Explorez les Chasm sur les sentiers de la nature avec des vues panoramiques et des cascades. Ajouter rappelling, rafting ou le tube dans le Gouffre pour l'aventure parfaite. Les locations sont disponibles à la Chasm. Certains événements amusants incluent des visites de lanterne, les mines de pierres précieuses et maintenant car ils sont ouverts toute l'année, faire un tour merveilleux de l'hiver pour voir les cascades gelées et 150 pi stalactites. Pêche Lac Champlain Lac Champlain est de 120 miles de long, dix miles de large et environ. 390 pieds plus profond. Pêche se produit le long des rives pittoresques de New York du lac Champlain. Beautiful setting - wonderful cottage!

Amazing view - it is literally right on the lake! Lovely, beautifully appointed cottage, well equipped. A very special place - we enjoyed our stay very much. Karen was wonderful to work with - very prompt to reply & very helpful.

Relaxing cottage with wonderful view

Four of us stayed two nights very comfortably and experienced an amazing total solar eclipse. While that event was the focus of our stay we also enjoyed sitting on the lake shore listing to the birds and the rippling water. The view was equally amazing, with a clear day you see the lake and dozens of VT mountains. The location couldn't have been more perfect for the eclipse and is part of our photo's and memories.

Week Stay at Wonderful Lakeside Cottage

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful cottage for a week in July 2023. The cottage was even better than what the pictures indicated; extremely clean and nicely furnished and decorated. Loved Our Stay.. Highly Recommend

We were absolutely thrilled with our stay at WhatAVu! The cottage offered a peaceful setting with lovely views of a nearby marina and the Vermont mountains. It was conveniently located—no more than a 20-minute drive to any point in Plattsburgh, including restaurants and local attractions.The cottage itself was very comfortable and well-equipped, with everything we needed, including reliable internet and a smart TV. We didn’t want for a thing.Our hostess was lovely and respectful of our privacy, staying out of sight but living next door, which felt reassuring.All in all, a wonderful stay on the beautiful shores of Lake Champlain.

Beautiful view

Myself, my husband and our 2 kids (ages 8 & 11) had a wonderful stay at this cottage. The location is great right next to a lovely state park with a beach and nice hiking trails for the kids. The view over Lake Champlain is amazing! You can see the mountains in Vermont and it's just beautiful. We also enjoyed using the kayaks. We took day trips to Ausable Chasm, the Lake Placid area and Burlington, VT via the ferry. Karen was great to work with and very responsive. We would definitely stay again!

You will not be sorry!

By pure luck I stumbled across the rental listing for this cottage. My husband and I were returning our daughter to college and decided to vacation in the area for several days. I cannot say enough good things about our experience. The cottage was clean, well supplied, comfortable and nicely located. It is evident that the owners take pride in their property. I am hoping to stay at this location or another run by the same owners in the future!

Cozy, quiet,and clean!

The cottage was just as advertised and Karen was always available and accommodating. Our pup was so happy and enjoyed the spacious side yard and laying on the deck and staring out on the water. Some days were very hot and it was wonderful to have the water to cool off in. Our kids loved kayaking and playing on the water. Thank you for sharing your property! Would love to return to this little gem :)

Outstanding host, couldn't be closer to the water

Karen was a dream host! The property was very clean and well equipped. Having the two kayaks available was great. My only criticism has to do with with the Plattsburgh area, which left me underwhelmed.

A truly relaxing getaway

My husband and I and our two teenage boys and our dog truly enjoyed the stay. The cottage is very clean and cozy. It has everything you need. The kayaks were huge bonus for my boys. The best part is the breathtaking view! We could never get tired of it. The owner was very helpful and easy to communicate with. It was hard for all of us to leave. We're already talking about going back there next summer. Can't wait!

Relaxing vacation

My husband, dog, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! From the beginning to the end- Karen was easy to work with and very easy to communicate with. She reached out with helpful information and responded back fast as well. We even got to meet her one day when she was at the property next door and she was super nice. The views were amazing, they did not disappoint. The house was equipped with everything you need. Towels, hand soap, dish detergent, all pots/pans, plates and cutlery, some spices and oil, chairs outside. The TV is a smart TV and you can log into your streaming sites. Plus much more. The neighborhood was great too. There’s a lot to do close by. My husband went on a fishing trip with a guide, we hiked at the state park a few minutes away, we took the ferry over to Burlington, VT, and we checked out the local ice cream place (only 7 minutes away, The Happy Pike). It was a great, relaxing stay!!

Winter Weekend Getaway

Karen's cottage was absolutely perfect for our weekend away! We loved watching the sunrise over the beautiful view of the Vermont mountains every morning :) It was amazing being able to take our dog for hikes at Pointe Au Roche State Park just down the road from the cottage. 10/10 would recommend!

A Relaxing Retreat From All Things 2020

This was the perfect property for our long weekend! Exceptionally clean, comfortable and with all of the basics that one would need. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves! No traffic, no sirens, no planes and no trains- peace and quiet-a nice break from city life. Great communication from the owners as well. Gorgeous views of the lake and Point Au Roche State Park is 5 minutes away for hiking around the lake. Whiteface Mountain and Lake Placid only an hour away, an easy side trip. We would definitely visit again.

Pick a chair and stay awhile

We stayed for almost two weeks, and if you knew me, you’d know it’s not my habit to stay in one location on vacation. But what a location! I sat for hours enjoying an unsurpassed view of the lake, the mountains, the boaters, etc. the cottage offered everything we needed! Already wishing I could go back.

Wonderful Stay

We enjoyed a wonderful week on Lake Champlain. Karen was easily accessible and responded quickly to any messages that we sent to her. The property itself is beautifully situated on the lake. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, with it’s beautiful views and gentle breeze. Kayaks and inflatables were available, which we used regularly. We are already hoping for a return visit later this summer. 5 stars for this listing.

Wonderful stay

This cottage was perfect. It was well stocked and had an amazing view. Loved hanging out on the porch or back lawn with my dog enjoying the lake. Stock up- you won’t want to leave! Communication with the owners was great and easy. Would stay again.

Comfortable, cozy cabin

Quaint quiet cottage with beautiful sunrises and moon beams shining on the lake at night. Close to walking trails that run along the lake shore. Sat on deck in morning with coffee and soaked in the fantastic view. Hope to return next year.

The cottage was well-equipped. Everything that I thought that I should bring I didn’t need to because it was already there. The sun rises in the morning are gorgeous. Our favorite part was sitting on the deck in the morning having a coffee and watching the boats. We also very much enjoyed throwing the tennis ball off the deck and watching the dogs play while we enjoyed a glass of wine. We were able to bring our pups with us and they felt comfortable in the yard and in the home because it has a hedge barrier between properties providing privacy. We travelled to Montreal a few days since you are only an hour away. We brought our boat and docked it in Mooney Bay Marina next door. Highly recommend - we will definitely be returning next year!!

Loved it and will rent it again!

Awesome! Loved the cottage, the location, the view! The ultimate in rest and relaxation, yet plenty to do nearby. Enjoyed ferrying to Vermont and the Champlain islands, driving to Montreal within an hour, and visiting Ausable, Lake Placid and the Plattsburgh area. The cottage is super clean, nicely decorated and well appointed with pots, pans, appliances, linens, etc. And two kayaks that we used right outside on the bay. Took refreshing dips also right outside. Hiked at nearby Pointe au Roche State Park and dined at excellent restaurants including Mooney Bay Marina. All in all, a top notch vacation!

This property was situated just right for the viewing of the sunrise. That alone made the stay more than worth the trip. The home its self was decorated in a style of the area very clean and bright. I will stay there again, because of its location to the state park less than a mile away. The owners were very easy to communicate with. David

Wonderful Cottage on the Lake

My husband and I found this cottage rental through AAA and it was a wonderful experience. If you are looking for a unforgettable view on a lake, comfortable and nicely decorated home, with tons of things to do surrounding the area, this one is for you! The cottage has everything you need including a great grill in the yard. Great place to relax on the deck, with beautiful sunrises, hiking, boating, and fishing almost at your doorstep. We will definitely return to this vacation listing!

Impressive!!!

Words can not explain how thrilled I was to stay in this remarkable home. As a newcomer to Plattsburgh/Lake Champlain, our experience was unforgettable! The view was impeccable with the large windows and deck looking out over the lake. The cottage was immaculate and decorated superbly. Fully equipped with just about everything you need away from home.

Beautiful!

This cottage was immaculate! Very nicely decorated inside and the view was amazing! There is a house on either side but you would never know it-feels very private. The owners were very accommodating, and supplied everything we needed and more. There is a lot of outdoor seating and we enjoyed watching the boats come in and go out. We would absolutely rent again and strongly recommend it!

This property sold us the minute we walked in. The views of the sunrises, mountains and lake made it an easy decision to buy.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The cottage has wonderful cedar hedge rows to provide the privacy from each other and also offer expansive views of Lake Champlain and the Vermont mountains. Point Au Roche State Park is next door and has over 800 acres of hiking trails.
