The Historic Bootlegger Barrel House À Whisky Run Golf Club à Port Colborne

Une fois le site d'une opération de rhum en cours d'exécution, le Barrel House Bootlegger est une maison de ferme historique située au Whisky Run Golf Club. Relax & BBQ sur la terrasse privée de cette maison de 4 chambres tout en donnant sur le 18e vert.

Une grande cuisine et salle à manger à l'étage principal ouvre sur le pont arrière et dispose d'armoires et des appareils modernes. Si vous ne vous sentez pas comme la cuisine, le Bootlegger Bistro propose le petit déjeuner, le déjeuner et le dîner, et est situé dans le pavillon entièrement sous licence, juste en face de la route.

Chaque étage de la maison a un salon avec télévision à écran plat, une salle de bains et 2 chambres avec lits king size. Un canapé-lit dans chaque coin salon permet jusqu'à 12 personnes pour dormir confortablement.

Un kilomètre. Sud pourrait avoir vous baigner dans le lac Érié, et un kilomètre. Nord vous permet de vous faire du vélo sur Friendship Trail de Niagara. Ou vous pouvez jouer au golf sur 27 trous panoramiques dans votre cour arrière. Un 18 trous Pied Golf et Disc Golf sont également sur place.

A cinq minutes en voiture vous a dans le centre-ville de Port Colborne et historique West Street: où vous pouvez boire et manger, tout en regardant les bateaux naviguent à travers le canal Welland. Safari Niagara est à 15 minutes, et Niagara Falls, plus grand nombre de vignobles préférés de Niagara sont à une demi-heure en voiture.

Barrelhouse

Had our wedding around the corner, used the Barrelhouse as accommodations for our wedding party. Worked out perfect! Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area! Owners are super accomodating, easy going folks !

In Town for a Family Event

We absolutely loved staying at The Barrel House! The house was immaculately clean, very spacious and very comfortable. The back deck and covered front veranda were both perfect places to sit and enjoy the gorgeous views surrounding us. Out back it was fun to watch the golfers go by at Whiskey Run Golf Course. Ten out of ten recommend staying here!

Wonderful Stay!

We stayed at the Barrel House to attend our daughter's wedding at a venue close by. The house was perfect for all of our needs. Spacious, clean and very comfortable. The host was very accommodating of our needs. Lou even stopped by Sunday morning to see how the wedding went! I would highly recommend this property!

First time in Canada

Loved that the house was on the golf course! Was able to eat across the street at the club. Lou stopped by to make sure everything was good! House was clean. Traveled with a one year old so they were able to take over the top floor because it had its own "living space" and bathroom. Would recommend.

Family weekend

We are a family of 6 adults and 2 babies. The upstairs was great for the family with the babies. Nice course for the golfers in our group. We were close enough to go to Niagara Falls for an afternoon and also visit Niagara on The Lake and a few wineries. Our hosts and the course worker we very pleasant and friendly. Very enjoyable family time.

Annual Golf Weekend with the boys

Although the weather was wet and the course was soggy, the house made our annual boys weekend most enjoyable. Lou and the rest of his gang treated us fantastic and were very accommodating to our needs. I would recommend this place, very clean and has everything you need for a home away from home experience. Wedding Bliss

We stayed at The Barrel House for 2 nights because our daughter was marrying at Maple Meadows on Sept 1. The bride and her bridesmaids stayed with us and enjoyed having their own space on the 2nd floor. Our only complaint would be that we could not make the coffee maker work!!! We all tried and then gave up and went to Tim Hortons.

A wonderful location

A short notice wedding elopement had myself and a few family members searching quickly for a place to stay! This was the first time ever in Canada cor all of us. Thankfully this property was available short notice and met all our necessary requirements! We had 6 adults and 5 children comfortably stay at this home! Everyone had their own beds and plenty of space. Our children loved the back deck and being able to watch golfers go by. The adults loved the peaceful location and how it was not far from major places. The property was immaculate, golf course in amazing condition, and was truly a beautiful location. We loved seeing the barn cats and my children enjoyed leaving them a plate of breakfast each morning. Someone from staff even left a thoughtful note and signed it from the cats. Our children thought it was magical! We all agreed we would love to travel to Canada again to stay at the property again!

We really enjoyed the home. Room on ground floor for one family member with walker to get around. Non-golfers enjoyed the scenery and watching the golfers from the back deck.

We have stayed and golfed at whisky run for many years and the experience gets better everytime. House is more then you would ever need , clean and well set up. Staff is fantastic. 5+ stars!!

Hidden gem!

The Barrel House was fantastic, reminding us of the beauty that comes with an older home and surrounding area! Golf course in the backyard and seeing the deer was an added bonus! Lou was very responsive!

Perfect space for a few families

We needed a weekend away with some friends and this cottage was perfect! It’s nice and large and immaculate. There was some drafts so some space heaters would have been nice, however we bundled up and made the best! The beds were all super comfy! The kitchen had every gadget we could have ever needed. The cottage is dated but suited the home. We will stay here again for sure! The host was excellent at quick replies!

Been going for years ; and will continue too. Great atmosphere , owners and employees are all very accommodating. House in clean, everything you need and perfect for our group. Can't wait to book our annual trip next year

"Terrific"

Lou and Maribeth are great hosts... location is perfect for our family visits in the area. Very relaxed and lots of space... highly recommend for a group golf trip away as well. Kids loved being right on the golf course.

Excellent for golfers.

We had an excellent, quiet time at Bootlegger. The house and property are plenty big and we were all surprised at the size of every room. The house had all the necessities for a comfortable stay. Port Colborne was less than a 10 min drive should you need to pick up any groceries or ice cream. Waterfront and beaches - 10 mins away. Excellent location. Would definitely recommend. Lou and Maribeth are excellent hosts and were never too far away for questions. We all had a relaxing vacation. Thanks Lou and Maribeth
