Lovely cosy cottage, perfect location and size for us (2 adults & 2 teens). Right in the heart if Port Isaac but still felt quiet and peaceful.Communication was good throughout.Could do with a caffetiere, but cottage had everything else you might need. Can't really fault.
White pebbles is a snug, old fashioned cosy cottage in a perfect location in Port Isaac less than than 100 yards from the sea. Like most properties in the old village, you have to be willing to park at the top of the hill. Unlike most however, there is a good area outside to unload at leisure, once you have negotiated the extremely tight turn into Middle Street. A minor quibble is that in this day and age, its unusual to have to bring your own bed linen and towels unless you want to pay extra - surely its part of the holiday experience to have lovely crisp linen to snuggle down in? En-suite toilet upstairs is a blessing at night, as the stairs are steep (as one would expect). Perfectly well-equipped kitchen (never seen so many spatulas!) and a pleasant outside bench if the weather is kind. Dog friendly, and the flagged kitchen is great for a soggy doggy to dry in without worrying about getting everywhere wet. Lovely bay window to sit in over the Leat stream on its way to the harbour 100 yards away. Two decent sized bedrooms (very comfy double bed in the main), and the cottage is warm, snuggly and homely. Communications excellent throughout. WiFi is fine, but as you'd expect no mobile signal down in the valley. To sum up - if you're staying in Isaac, and are looking for a place that embodies the spirit of the village, well this fits the bill.
Amazing little cottage in a perfect location.
Second time staying, pictures do it no justice at all.
Two minute walk from the harbour & all the little village couldnât be in a better location
This cottage is beautiful, very well equipped and comfortable. It is set in lovely surroundings with the little river (the leat) running passed the bay window. Its within walking distance to the harbour and shops and the Golden Lion Pub which does the most excellent meals, with friendly staff and locals. There's plenty to explore, superb walks and fun finding the properties used for filming Doc Martin and the Fishermens Friends. We loved Port Issac. Be aware that the car parks do get full and you may have to wait for a space. The only thing we regretted was the week went far to fast.
Had a lovely time in port isaac, cottage was warm and cosy. Nice to be able to take the dog away with us. Make sure you arrange bedding before your trip and remember to bring towels as these are not included even though states on website that they are. Overall had an amazing time didn't want to leave.
