Clos Mirabel est un beau domaine de 15 acres situé entre cÎte et montagne. Son manoir C18 est situé dans un parc privé au milieu des douces collines de Jurançon et offre une magnifique vue imprenable sur les vignobles et sur toute la chaßne des Pyrénées Atlantiques.
Havre de paix, lumiÚre et tranquillité en constante évolution, le Clos Mirabel est à quelques minutes de Pau et de ses parcours de golf, à trente minutes de Lourdes et à moins d'une heure des montagnes et des stations de ski, de la cÎte atlantique (Biarritz, surf et golf) ), Pays basque et Espagne (Saint-Sébastien, Bilbao, Pampelune).
Au milieu de ce paysage remarquable, le Clos Mirabel offre plusieurs choix de logements meublés, de locations de vacances et de Bed & Breakfast confortables, récemment rénovés et bien équipés, que ce soit pour le travail ou les loisirs: le Manoir peut accueillir 14 personnes. Le manoir et son appartement peuvent accueillir 16, ou 20 personnes avec The Winery. The Gatehouse (6 personnes). Le Manoir Appartement (4 personnes). Le Winery Studio (2/3 personnes) et le Loft Apartment (4/5 personnes). Le B & B est également disponible au Manoir. Vous pourrez savourer un petit-déjeuner buffet composé de produits locaux et régionaux dans la salle à manger ou sur la terrasse. Wonderful family summer

We stayed at the house for a week with the whole family (6 persons) and enjoyed the house, pool and surroundings very much. Also the help from and communication with the host was fantastic - very nice people. We can definitely recommend this prperty for a wonderful summer vacation.

A fantastic place to stay

We stayed in the Winery Apartment for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Our hosts Andre and Ann were very helpful in terms of restaurant and sightseeing recommendations, and the accommodation is well presented and in a beautiful location - not far from the amenities of Jurancon and Pau, but with a real rural feel. I'd recommend exploring the Vallee d'Ossau which is close by - magnificent mountain scenery everywhere! Overall a lovely spot to stay and I'd highly recommend it.

The Winery at Clos Mirabel

I stayed at Clos Mirabel with my niece and a friend from Paris and we felt so lucky to have found it! Rachel and Xavier were the kindest and most accommodating hosts. They graciously provided a delicious breakfast every day, the Winery was a comfortable and relaxing place to come home to - and the views! The Pyrenees were spectacular. I definitely would come back for another visit!

A truly memorable holiday

We have just returned from our week long stay at Clos Mirabel. We were staying in the Winery which is perfectly situated by the pool and has the most fantastic view of the Pyrenees and French countryside from the front bedroom and terrace. The owners, Ann and Andre were great hosts; they got the fine balance correct of managing our privacy whilst being around to offer assistance when required, we genuinely believe that without their knowledge of the area we would not of experienced some of the things we did which made our stay so memorable, from suggesting scenic hikes in the Pyrenees to drawing maps of appropriate cycle rides (taking in some wineries on route and avoiding too many hills!). We shall definitely be recommending to our friends and hope to return at some point in the future.

Most amazing place to stay!

A most beautiful location for a family holiday - we all loved the pool and the views. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. We had dinner at the Manor House which was delicious. Lots of choice for accommodation in B&B or self-catering.

STUNNING views of the Pyrenees

My family and I stayed at the Winery for 3 days, 4 nights in early April and we loved every minute. The winery, which sits alongside the Manor House, had everything we needed for our self catering stay – cooker, over, fridge, microwave, kettle etc. It was comfortable, warm and spacious. I have a real soft spot for wooden floors and those lovely French shutters and the winery didn’t disappoint. The English/French speaking hosts, Benoit & Maryse, were extremely friendly and always on hand to answer any questions or give advice. The most spectacular thing about the Winery, however, is its views of the Pyrenees which are second to none. Having never had much to do with mountains, I have a new found fondness for them. My two young boys had plenty of space to run around safely in the grounds immediately surrounding the Winery and the Manor House, which meant my husband and I could relax with some local cheese and wine by the pool and take in the lovely ambience. On a practical note, Clos Mirabel is just a short drive from local supermarkets where you can pick up just about anything you will need.

Memories for life

From the end of August 2013 to the end of June 2014 our family (my husband, our three children and me) had the great privilege and pleasure of living in the apartment in the Winery at Clos Mirabel. Clos Mirabel has such a fortunate location – it was the most wonderful base for our ten-month long stay in France – just next to the larger city of Pau but at the same time undisturbed and close to nature. However, it was not the absence of noise we enjoyed the most – but the presence of a very special atmosphere of calmness and serenity that is characteristic of Clos Mirabel. The view towards the Pyrenees is something quite extraordinary, there is so much sky above one’s head and the ever-changing beauty of the landscape was something we enjoyed every day, even in the dark months. We simply all thrived there. Clos Mirabel was also a convenient starting point for many trips to the Basque country, the mountains (all seasons) and Spain. Ann and AndrĂ© were very kind and attentive landlords, we could always turn to them for advice and help, it was a great comfort to have their knowledge of the area always at hand. In short, our stay has given us lifelong memories that we will always cherish. Deluxe mountain views

This was the priciest of our verbose rentals, and the one most nearly approximating a five-star hotel. ( There is a small pool.) As other reviewers have remarked, the hosts are especially gracious: by all means accept their recommendations for local dining. And be sure to pick in The wine store of Gan the sweet dessert wine Clos Mirabel bottled from grapes grown on the property. The apt for two in the Winery with the views was worth the price.

Im Zeichen des Poolroboters

Die fĂŒr 6 Personen beschriebene Winery ist eher fĂŒr max. 4 personen geeignet, die AtmosphĂ€re im Haus, anders als auf den Fotos , trist. Eine eigene Terasse hat man nicht, man sitzt draussen im Grass am Pool. Der pool wird zu jeder Tageszeit mehrmals durch einen Poolroboter gereinigt und ist dann fĂŒr 2 Stunden blockiert. Vorzugsweise wurde morgens um 7.30 Uhr mit der ersten Reinigung begonnen, so dass dann die Nachtruhe erstmal beendet war. Insgesamt eher nicht empfehlenswert.

Great family holiday away

We had a great family holiday when we stayed at The Winery, Clos-Mirabel. The facilities are excellent, and the view from the house is stunning.The children loved the pool, and entertained themselves on the trampoline and swings. Clos-Mirabel is well placed, if you want to travel by car, to visit Pau, go skiing, travel over the border to Spain, or visit the beach at Biarittz. I would certainly recommend this holiday property to family and friends.

Best holiday ever

28 Juillet 2009, We just came back to Norway after spending 9 wonderful days in Clos Mirabel (the winery and B&B). Thank you for your great hospitality. I will recommend your property to travellers that wants to rest at a peaceful place. With a swimming pool awailable also children can play and enjoy themselves. There are so many activities and excursions available in the neibourhood. Both mountains and beaches are within driving distance. Yours sincerely Inghild Kaarstad

Amazing location and stunning property!!!

My husband, my 3-year-old son and myself stayed in this beautiful retreat for a long week-end beginning of October. The location is just amazing, the view and the park surrounding the property is breathtaking. The house is extremely charming and has been very elegantly restored and furnished. Spacious, clean, well equipped and very well mantained. A very nice, homy and typical breakfast is served by the house owner. Apart from the perfect service and the beauty of the place, what we liked the most of clou mirabell was the warmth of the family and the genuine kindness and love they welcome and take care of you. Ann, the host, is an amazing woman, intelligent, pacient, caring and an unforgettable encounter! I strongly recommend clou mirabelle for families with children (the park is very well equipped for children activities) but also for couples or friends who want to stay in a charming and quiet surrounding. Will definetly go back!

They both have a keen in­ter­est in health and well-be­ing which is re­flect­ed in their choice of Clos Mira­bel and its out­s­tand­ing lo­ca­tion look­ing over vine­yards, out to­wards the en­tire chain of the Pyrénées At­lan­tiques. Ann has a keen in­ter­est in psy­chol­o­gy; Emi­ly at­tend­ed French school and fin­ished her se­condary ed­u­ca­tion at the in­ter­na­tio­n­al school in Pau.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Much trav­elled Ann and An­dre fell in love with Clos Mira­bel and its breath-tak­ing views over 13 years ago. They lived in the 18th Cen­tu­ry Manor House for 2 years be­fore un­der­tak­ing a ma­jor ren­o­va­tion in 2005 re­tain­ing as many of the his­tor­i­cal fea­tures as pos­si­ble.

The orig­i­nal house at Clos Mira­bel was a very sim­ple Béar­naise farm­house built be­tween 1732 and 1738. A small barn was add­ed a lit­tle lat­er. In 1825, the prop­er­ty was purchased by Jean Mira­bel, hence the name, Clos Mira­bel. At the same time he bought sev­er­al acres of land that in­clud­ed the vine­yard.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Set in 15 acres of park­land the Clos Mira­bel Es­tate of­fers you a chance to re­lax in a peace­ful sett­ing. Clos Mira­bel pro­vides a hill­top haven in Bed and Break­fast and Self Ca­ter­ing Ac­com­mo­da­tion where vis­i­tors feel re­freshed and in­spired.

Ev­ery­one can en­joy the park at their lei­sure. It of­fers swings, swim­ming pool and tram­po­line for some, ex­plo­ra­to­ry walks for others or sim­p­ly re­lax­a­tion in the shade of our oak trees. Ad­mire the mag­ni­f­i­cent un­in­ter­rupt­ed views of the en­tire chain of the Pyrénées At­lan­tiques.

The large mo­sa­ic tiled pool in the Clos Mira­bel grounds is avai­l­able to all guests from May to mid Oc­to­ber. Part­ly so­lar heat­ed mea­sur­ing 12×6 me­ters and with a depth of 1-2 me­ters, it of­fers amaz­ing views of the vine­yards and PyrĂ©nĂ©es.

Sun loungers, gar­den fur­ni­ture and bar­be­cues are al­so pro­vid­ed for your re­lax­a­tion.
