Little Coon Guest House-Catch & libérer la pêche.

Situé tout près de la rivière Ouachita et de Wolf Pen Gap, Little Coon se trouve sur une colline surplombant un étang de 1 hectare et un étang de 5 acres. Les clients sont invités à pêcher à la fois.
Très calme et paisible. Little Coon est décoré avec un mobilier vintage amusant. 1 lit queen pour 2 personnes et un canapé-lit dans le salon peuvent accueillir 2 personnes supplémentaires. Le canapé-lit est mince, donc un matelas est disponible.
Du café gratuit avec des fixations, un barbecue et un ensemble de patio sont disponibles.
Il y a une unité de fenêtre pour la climatisation et un poêle à bois pour l'hiver ainsi que pour les chauffages au sol. La maison est bien isolée et reste généralement confortable toute l'année.
Tous les draps, serviettes, ustensiles de cuisine et de cuisine sont inclus. Apportez vos boissons préférées, mangez et régalez!

Conduisez votre VTT à Wolf Pen Gap et profitez de plus de 40 kilomètres de sentiers et de sites. De plus, montez sur 1 mile jusqu’à la rivière et flottez ou traînez!

Riding the trails

Cabin was perfectly clean and comfortable. Was able to cook steaks outside on the grill and all other meals in the fully furnished kitchen. Bed was soft and I slept like a baby. Located really close to the Wolf Pen Gap ATV trails and a swimming area on the river a half mile away. Best bang for the buck!!!

The weather was perfect and we always enjoy being able to travel with our dog. Cabin stocked with all our needs. Property was clean and comfortable.

Weekend Getaway

The cabin was secluded and on beautiful land. The owners have a dog that was friendly as can be, and guides you up to the cabin. The cabin was cozy and welcoming, perfect for a weekend getaway. 10/10 would stay again.

It was a quiet, relaxing place

We enjoyed the whole experience. The cabin/small home was cute. The property was well kept and their dog led us to the right up to the cabin. (Such a cute addition). The Fall foliage was a beautiful reflection off the pond and the quiet area was so relaxing.

A great get away

The cabin was perfect for our trip to pick up our grandchildren for the holidays. My husband and spent 3 nights enjoying riding our sxs in Mena. Then continued our trip to Berryville to pick up our grandchildren; returning to the cabin for a night before going home to Southeast Texas because it’s a halfway mark for us to all rest. The cabin was perfect- clean, warm and private! Doc was a welcomed surprise that helped ease our missing our fur babies! We hope to make this a regular stop during our custody swaps!

Amazing place

This was an amazing cabin, located in the courner of the property. So secluded and wonderful. Lovely character. The house dog is wonderful, he comes to greet you every time you arrive home. I will most definitely come back and stay again

Second Time Around

This was our second visit and won’t be our last. This rental is off the beaten path and in a very quiet peaceful setting. Perfect location for trail riding and the host is great.

2nd visit and will be back

We love riding our SxS at Wolf Pen Gap trails and this secluded cabin is a short drive away from the North trailhead. The cabin is adorable and has all the amenities needed to enjoy a fun getaway! Thanks to the amazing hosts that make check in/out super easy and very accommodating.

Great location and hosts

I quickly rented this after my husband and I decided almost last minute to book a trip to Wolfpen Gap trails. It was a nice drive from the location to the trails - about 5 miles to the TH. Quite Beautiful peaceful place to stay. And the dog is super friendly and helpful - he lead us right to the cabin 😀

One of the most beautiful properties in mena

We loved our stay. This is a very beautiful place. Enjoyed a great night sitting around the fire pit by the lake. Owners left us free range eggs in the fridge for breakfast the next morning. They were out of this world.

First Trail Ride

This property is just as advertised. The host was very accommodating and communicated very quickly. The ride to the trails was a very nice ride. The host has done an excellent job with the outdoor space for a nice relaxing atmosphere after a day on the trails. I will definitely stay there again. LS

Private, secluded, quiet.

Had a great stay. Cabin was exactly as described. Private, secluded and quiet. No bugs inside, just about everything you need in the kitchen, just could use some large bowls and a pancake griddle other than that is was great. Oh and if you do rent , be sure and take a large toy for their fur baby Doc, he loves to play and is very friendly. At first he might scare you coming out the side door. Great place to stay. Yes we will stay again

Perfect

My husband ended up not being able to go so I stayed there with myself. It was so relaxing. I fished the pond and my dog ran around smelling all the new smells. The cabin was spotless and had anything you would ever need and more! I’ll definitely go back!

Location perfect water not so much!

I was extremely satisfied with everything except the water. It had the most awful Sulphur smell I couldn’t even rinse my mouth out. The property itself was perfect for a weekend ride.

Small and secluded

Property was nice and had lots of outdoor areas to relax. House was old and small and appliances could have been cleaned better between guests. It’s good for two people. The bed was very comfortable. A couple of ballasts are going out, in kitchen and dining area, so lights sometimes would not come on. Don’t expect the internet to work. It was down most of the time we were there which caused issues with streaming anything on the tv and handling my business while I was away. Wanted to drive our ATV to the trails, but realistically too far and not safe to drive the ATV on the public roads necessary to get to the trails. We took the ATV in the trailer, which was no big deal though. Location is about 7 miles from the North trail head of Wolf Pen Gap.

We ended up leaving

We thought the property was beautiful and loved the “bear dog” visits. He was super sweet. We felt that the description of the property was a bit off. It had said there was an acre pond but it was actually less than half an acre and unfortunately we couldn’t really enjoy it because it had not been maintained and there was 4 foot grass around it. My husband went to the other pond to fish because it was accessible and the owner approached him without a greeting and told him he couldn’t fish there. She was very rude and not welcoming at all. Another thing that was listed in the property description was that you could drive from the property to the Wolfpen ATV park in your ATV easily. I had thought that meant it was very close and easily accessible but it was actually much farther and down the road. We ended up trailering our ATV and driving and finding a place to park and go in. My husband and son were so uncomfortable with the exchange with the owners that we ended up booking another home and leaving this property.

My husband and I decided to escape to Mena Arkansas to enjoy the scenic views and country living full time. We love our animals and classic cars. Of course fishing and hiking are also on that list.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We looked at around 20 or so properties in the area before deciding on this one. This property used to be a vacation home for another family. It was so spacious and had so much potential we just had to have it. This house in on a private lane that dead ends so privacy is extreme.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We love how secluded we are here. It cannot be seen from the main road and there are 2 gates to pass through. Privacy is important to us as well as to our guests! There is no check in/out procedure for your privacy and convenience.
