love this house, stayed here many times.Has everything you need and a nice outlook and very quiet.Nice pool to cool off in.Had a lovely stay, hope to have many more
Would've been good if we'd been given the correct access code - fortunately my wife applied a little common sense and guessed the correct code! Everything was clean and tide with plenty of equipment to cover all our needs. The only thing i didnt like was the close proximity of the neighbours when you sit outside - you're almost sat on the same table. Fortunately the next door's owners son was staying there and we got on well - but I like my privacy.
Everything you could want for a relaxing peaceful holiday, apartment had everything we could possibly need and the views to the sea and mountains were perfect. Apartment has its own shared pool seven steps away from the apartment and we had it to ourselves almost every day of the holiday. Highly recommended if you want a peaceful, enjoyable apartment away from the noise of being in Paphos, You will need a hire car and the local supermarket is 5 mins drive away, The centre of Peyia has an English style pub and a few restaurants. 100% will stay again. Many thanks to the host Terry for allowing us to enjoy his apartment.
We had a very nice 3 weeks at Terry's house despite the soaring temperatures up to 42 deg' C. Thank goodness for the excellent aircon. The house was immaculately clean on arrival. Most flights from UK arrive late evening and we would have appreciated a small welcome pack of perhaps coffee/tea, milk bread etc. The kitchen is very comprehensively equipped with everything needed to self cater however there are many very good bars and tavernas within a short car drive.
The location given on the VRBO map is incorrect, the actual location is around 2km further up the hill, too far to walk to the local bars, shops, bakery, chemist etc. which was a bit disappointing to us as we have friends who live in lower Peyia, Terry was very helpful when we pointed this out and was happy for us to cancel if we so required but we didn't see this as a deal breaker. Overall a very pleasant stay and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend the house. Many thanks Terry.
The property was spacious with good outdoor space for sunbathing, swimming and eating, including from the BBQ. Sat Nav did not recognise reference point provided, but locals people and your agent assisted. If people have Sat Nav problems in future, you could suggest they use the Marina Hilltop site as it is on Google Maps and located a few hundred metres beyond the apartment.
Thanks again. Peter and Nadine Moore
Suggest your local agent or cleaner provides more updated leaflets for bars, restaurants, boat trips (we used Koulla boat trip from Latsi Harbour 25 Euros including BBQ - left leaflet) or tourist spots as some still show costs in Cyprus Pounds and one list of events was 2007.
We have stayed in Cypress many times and look for somewhere quiet.Well this was very quiet, had everything we needed. You need a car as its a far way but we hire a car so no problem. We liked it so much I have just booked again for next year....cannot wait,Cypress is like a second home
My name is Terry and my wife is Dorothy, we have two grown up daughters. We live in Galway Ireland and have owned the house in Cyprus since 2005 using it for our own holidays and enjoying it very much. We decided to rent the house out to allow others to enjoy this beautiful area and we decorated it to reflect a "holiday home" feel. In 2023 we extended the patio and put in the latest air conditioning units. Our family love music, food and comedy, the latter being the one thing we all enjoy together. The feedback we have had from past guests tells us that our guests love the views and peace that our house provides every bit as much as we do.
We viewed many properties in Paphos before buying this one, it was the combination of quiet village location and stunning unobstructed views that sold it to us and it is what our guests tell us they love too, There are no roads overlooking the pool area which makes this very quiet and safe and it has more space where you want it than other properties in this price bracket. Despite this tranquillity the heart of the pretty Peyia village is just a 15 to 20 minute walk away and we mostly walk there to dine out in the evening. As there are only eight houses on this block all the owners know one another and are friends, we all work hard to keep the surrounding area clean and tidy and the pool is very well maintained. Both bedrooms are en suite and have balconies, there is a roof terrace with stunning views right around to Paphos itself. There are sunbeds and and a barbecue plus patio chairs and tables on the patio and roof terrace. Paphos town centre is about 20 minutes away and the airport about 40 minutes a
Stunning unobstructed views Quiet area Small complex Ideal for romantic couples or young families Pretty village close by Good restaurants and bars within walking distance Good size garden and patio Easy access to pool Cot and high chair provided Own parking space (in the shade) We don't lock up our sunbeds, this is a very safe area where all the owners know one another so there is no need
