Murray Cove Cottage sur le magnifique lac Burton

Situé à seulement 1 1/2 heures au nord d'Atlanta, le lac Burton est la première destination de lac de montagne. Situé entre Helen et Clayton, nous sommes près de toute activité que vous pouvez tirer profit. Pour les familles qui sont intéressés à la navigation de plaisance, il y a deux marinas qui louent des bateaux et il y a une rampe de l'année juste en bas de la route. Baignade, pêche, la randonnée ou la pose sur les chaises longues en font un lieu idéal pour se reposer et se détendre.
Le Cottage a été récemment rénové tout au long avec de nouveaux appareils, des meubles et des lits. Il y a un lit queen size, 4 lits superposés et un canapé-lit queen size. Les installations comprennent le WiFi et la télévision avec Direct TV et ESPN.
Les chiens ne sont pas autorisés sans l'approbation spécifique du propriétaire. Voir la politique s'il vous plaît.
Notre quai de natation et notre maison de bateau sont conçus pour un plaisir optimal du lac. Le dessus de la maison de bateau a une table à manger et deux canapés nouvellement achetés de Ballard, et plusieurs parapluies pour permettre la protection solaire. Le quai de baignade ci-dessous est également équipé de chaises longues et de parasols. Nous avons récemment ajouté deux planches à pagaie pour le plus grand plaisir de nos clients. Nous avons un appareil de chauffage sur le hangar à bateaux pour vous garder au chaud et au chaud tout en regardant le coucher de soleil sur les montagnes.
Les tarifs de location sont affichés sur VRBO. Il y a des réductions pour les séjours prolongés. Pendant les mois d'été, nous demandons une semaine de location avec enregistrement / départ le dimanche N'hésitez pas à nous contacter si vous avez des questions.

Lake house dream

Amazing house! Very warm and inviting decor. My husband and I had a lovely stay. Was cold and rainy but had plenty of books and games to keep us occupied. Is in a gorgeous neighborhood. Even met the owners passing by! They were so sweet! Would be so lucky to stay again.

Peaceful

Wonderful few days. Extremely close to boat ramp and that saved a lot of time. House was quiet and cozy. October presented a time where lake was quite from traffic both on and off water which made for a peaceful fall break. Will most definitely keep this one on list to book again.

Great home in perfect setting

Beautiful home in an amazing location, stocked with everything you need for a small group getaway- fire pit, two grills, huge deck covering the boathouse, a quick drive from the marina or great hiking.

A relaxing getaway!

What a gorgeous vacation home you have! Everything is new and beautifully furnished and decorated. We loved the breathtaking view from just about anywhere in the house. The kids enjoyed swimming at the dock and the sunsets of the upper deck. I can't wait to come back soon. Thank you for your hospitality.

Beautiful - Perfect for our family of 3

The day we booked, I got a welcome from our owners and felt immediately welcomed. The cottage is beautifully decorated incredibly well kept and stocked. My two greatest memories are the first night, making dinner in the kitchen and watching my husband on the huge deck grilling while my son was fishing on the dock & and both times our cousins came to visit us from across the lake from their house! We did just the right amount of relaxing, eating, drinking tubing, swimming, and boating that I could’ve packed into three nights! We definitely want to come stay again as soon as possible and are so happy to be able to have another place to escape to with family nearby.

GREAT!

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely view, a clean and uncluttered cottage that was extremely well decorated, as well as hikes to waterfalls and a trip to Fred Hamilton Garden. This last was an informal garden filled with blooming rhododendrons and dogwoods. It was a perfect vacation.

Cozy Lake Burton cabin

We had a wonderful trip. House was perfect in every way. Kitchen was well stocked. Loved the comfortable decor. All the beds were super comfy, Outdoor shower was an added bonus! The owners, Laura and Matt Freeman, are delightful! I wish I could keep this place a secret or win the lottery and buy it. We will be back next year! Thanks! The Goodsell family

Gorgeous cottage with beautiful Lake Burton view!

My friends and I stayed at Murray Cove Cottage for a wedding at Lake Burton. The house is absolutely lovely and we loved relaxing on the dock. It was exactly what we were looking for when trying to find a place for the weekend. Whether sitting in the house with the large windows, sitting on the porch, or hanging out on the dock, the view was incredible. We will certainly be back! Absolutely Fantastic!

Wonderful Fall Break Getaway

We had a wonderful long weekend at Murray Cove Cottage. The house was so beautiful and the view of the lake was amazing from any room in the house. Our girls loved spending time out on the docks. No luck catching any fish, but they had a great time trying. We loved meeting the Freemans. They were very helpful and wonderful hosts. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We had such a relaxing weekend. We hope to be back again soon.

Perfect for a couple or family. Seriously, PERFECT!

We couldn't have been more pleased with the cottage on Murray Cove. The place is spotless, equipped with everything you need, and so comfortable in every way. We loved swimming in the lake and lounging in the sun, as well as grilling on the deck and eating dinner at sunset. Our only regret was not staying longer! I guess we'll just have to visit again another time! Oh, and Laura was as sweet as could be when talking to her on the phone a couple of times. The most excellent hostess!

Lovely, comfortable and clean

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend and we loved the cottage! It is beautiful, comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen is very well supplied with nice quality cooking ware. The bed is very comfortable. My husband kept commenting on how clear the picture was while we watched a movie. The view of the lake is gorgeous and there is easy access to Clayton and hiking trails. We hope to be back soon! Thanks much for sharing your home with us!

The Murray Cove Cottage is a gift to Lake Burton!

Matt and Laura have created a beautiful cottage and in the process revitalized and restored an original 1960's fishing cabin. The cottage is well appointed, spotlessly clean and exactly as described and pictured. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the floor plan was comfortable for our party of six. The added half bath off the great room was a smart idea as well as the outdoor shower. We spent most of our evening time on the spacious front porch enjoying the view and waving at our neighbors. The Freemans were quick to respond to any questions and just a wonderful couple to work. Thank you for sharing the Murray Cove Cottage. We are already planning our next visit!

Cottage was spectacular!! Spotless, beautifully decorated with function in mind.

Beautiful, lakefront cottage is open-concept, making it feel airy, yet cozy. Our family of 4 + Papa comfortably stayed 3 nights. (We visited in Dec and heat kept us warm.) Cottage has everything you'll need if you choose to prepare meals or grill. Restaurants, hiking, boating, zipline, shopping and more are all easy to get to. Matt and Laura were so gracious & personable. They've obviously put a lot of thought into the layout & design and genuinely care about their guests. Enjoy amazing sunsets from the deck, front porch or living room! Place is solid - no squeaky floors or doors. The dock/deck, cottage and surrounding grounds were all well-maintained. Just perfect!!

Spring break family fun

This lake burton home is stunning! Gorgeous lake views from almost every spot in the home...loved waking up every day to the amazing scenery. We have stayed in several homes on lake burton in the past, and this one is wonderful!! It is stocked with everything you may need during your stay. The furnishings and every detail are amazing. Thank you to the owners for having plenty of hooks for towels, swimsuits, etc throughout. The owners are so easy to work with and contact if you have any questions. Our children (all under the age of 6) had so much fun as well! They love the loft area! I was even comfortable with going on a run on the street-it is plenty quiet and safe...people out walking often. We would absolutely recommend this property and hope to stay here again in the future.

Matt and Laura Freeman have been coming to Lake Burton all of our lives. Natives of Atlanta and Spartanburg we love Lake Burton and are excited to be sharing it with you. We bought Murray Cove Cottage and spent a year totally refurbishing it with all new plumbing, wiring, a/c and appliances.
We love sharing this beautiful part of North Georgia , which we think is like Heaven, with future friends.
We hope you love it here as much as we do!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Murray Cove Cottage is the perfect size for one or two families to share. Being located on the north side of Murray Cove ensures that you get sun on the dock all day and the trees keep the house shaded! It is only fifteen minutes from Clayton, GA since it is on the east side of the lake and near Bridge Creek Road. The house has amazing views from the hill across the street from the lake. It is nestled on a flat lot with a yard complete with chairs and a fire pit.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The Cottage has easy access with a ramp that leads to a set of french doors. The swim dock with it's umbrella and lounge chairs feels like you have your own private beach. The steps that go down into the water from the swim dock makes it easy to jump into the lake and get out. There are several places to tie up boats for people that want to bring up their boats and put them in at the boat ramp just down the road.
