We loved staying at this ideally located apartment. The view is exceptional! We did have a couple of issues with our stay and the management company was wonderfully responsive. We would highly recommend this place!

This is the second time we´ve stayed in this apartment and have had a really great time. It is so well placed for the restaurants and the beaches. The apartment is very well equipped. The servicing is really good too. Everything kept very clean.

Location location location

Great location with underground parking. Condo was everything as described. Only minus would be the lighting in the parking garage (it was very dark) but not a big deal.

A fantastic location with delightful views of the sea from the balcony. This apartment has everything you need and is convenient for local amenities and attractions. The balcony door is quite tricky to open and shut.

Lovely apartment in an excellent location

The apartment was lovely and spacious. We contacted the office on a couple of occasions and the customer service we received to help with this was excellent. Only a minor point but It would be good to have some smaller plates and also some glasses for prosecco!

A great place to hang your hat.

The location is exceptional and the morning sunrises great you over the ocean. Access to the old town, the market and the beach is ideal. The water temperature in the shower is often difficult to register and the door to the balcony is cumbersome to operate. A sliding door would be so much simpler.

Great location!

This place is quite nice and updated with a great location between beaches and the downtown Lagos area. You can walk to three beaches easily (within 15 minutes) or if you do want a car to drive to additional beaches or cities, they have a parking garage. The only issue we had during our stay was the a/c at night would require resetting the breaker switch and even with that it would turn off in the middle of the night. If you don't need a/c though, this location and view is tough to beat!

12 Aug 2017: the minor issue with the air conditioning system has now been resolved and it is functioning correctly. As the reviewer stated, the location and view are tough to beat. The nearest beach is actually just across the road from the apartment block - so a lot less than 15 minutes' walk!

RLAG60 APARTMENT

It's our third time at this apartment and we love it. It's such a cosy apartment. Hopefully we can come back for a fourth time next year. Great location, hubby swam twice a day as the beach is only over the road. Cleaners do a good job and the management company are great to deal with. The garage lighting on the lowest level needs looking at as there is sometimes a long delay for it to activate and it's difficult to see where you are walking.

Fabulous Stay in Lagos.

Apartment very clean, spacious and well equipped. Meet and greet service excellent and underground parking great. Regular towel changes and cleaning was much appreciated. The apartment´s location couldn´t be better, being opposite beach and another superb beach 5 minutes walk to mini ferry. Restaurants, bars, shops and marina all within a 5 minute walk. a car is not necessary, but worth having if you want to visit other places e.g. Salema, Sagres, Portimao etc. There is also a train station fairly close by. Would thoroughly recommend this apartment to couples looking for a relaxing break in the sun. The shower in the bathroom is quite difficult to deal with and due to small shower screen, bathroom floor often got very wet.

Location, Location, Location!

Great location close to the beach. Nice patio to sit out on and people watch. Close to all restaurants and underground parking. Beds was nice and furniture was great. Only real issue was the shower/tub. It had jets and my wife panned on using for her restless legs. The plug wouldn't stay down so that took a day to get someone out. They did a work around and then when she went to use it the jets didn't work. I checked a few things and retried but nothing worked. Bummer... The water temp is a little tricky when you use the shower so that made for a bit of a challenge. It wanted to go from cold to red hot without much of a turn.

Wonderful Accommodation and location.

The apartment is located right beside the castle walls and you're inside the old town within two minutes of leaving the apartment. There is an allocated parking spot in the underground area with a lift straight to the first floor apartment which has everything your heart could desire. A fully equipped kitchen, lovely settee and chaise long, dining table and two chairs, huge bed, safe, loads of wardrobe space and drawers, and fabulous bathroom with bidet. The towels are changed twice a week and bedlinen weekly. The apartment is spotless. Great TV with lots of channels to choose from. But the best thing about the apartment is the view over the beach. There is a table and chairs on the spacious balcony where you can watch the boats coming in and out of the harbour and the kayaks going out on their adventures to Pont da Piedade. There are dog walkers and people going to and from the beach and town too. It's a beautiful balcony with a fantastic view. What more could you ask for. There is nothing to improve upon I don't think. How can you perfect perfection.

Great location

This apartment has a great location, a few minutes walk from all the shops and restaurants. There are two mini markets close by and a bigger hyper market a bit further walk away. You can get to the beach in moments, along with access to all the kayak tours and a lovely little beach bar. There’s all the equipment you need in this apartment to be able to cook for yourself if that’s what you prefer to do. There was also a supply of washing tablets, dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid to get you started off. The welcome pack was lovely too. It was lovely to watch the sunrise each morning from the balcony. The team at Destination Algarve are fantastic and the service they provide is outstanding, nothing is too much and they will help in any way they can. There’s only one thing I would like and I don’t think you can do anything about this…I’d love these apartments to have a pool on the roof!

Great ocean view, under ground parking, 5 minutes walk to the Center of the city and any amenities you need. This apartment check all the boxes for your stay in Lagos, we couldn’t have asked for a better host.

RLAG60 - One month rental

Destination Algarve is in our opinion the best holiday rental agent in Lagos. We have used several agencies in Lagos over the years and Destination Algarve are much more professional. Their staff are very friendly. If there are any problems they respond straightaway. We have just come back from spending a month in Lagos. Maybe provide one full clean over a month long rental.

Sea view Splendour

We have stayed in the same complex two years ago so knew this was a high standard of apartment in a great location. As before, we had a lovely welcome and introduction to the apartment from a representative from Destination Algarve. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with a very extensive range of crockery, cooking equipment etc. There was an added bonus of a welcome bottle of wine and a few ‘basics’ too! The location is ideal: a short walk into Lagos which has many excellent restaurants and plenty of shops for souvenirs. We also found it easy to get to nearby beaches such as Donna Anna(less than 10 minutes walk) . Local buses run regularly from the road outside the apartment and are a cheap means of getting to Porto de Mos and Luz which both have attractive beaches and restaurants. Although the apartment overlooks the road, the noise is not overly intrusive at night when the shutters are down. Early in the morning there is very little traffic and the view of the sun rise is spectacular. A highly recommended apartment which we are looking forward to re-visiting next year.
