Hi John, I'm really glad that you all enjoyed your stay at no.4. We love to visit as a family and the space really works well for us five. We always replenish the glasses and cutlery regularly as they do tend to go missing over time. I'll get my cleaning team to top these up for me. We decided against air con when we bought no.4 as the island is windy and the gaps in the shutters work so well with keeping the place cool at night. We have just had fiber fitted and installed a smart T.V and surround sound. We have got hundreds of channels including all of the U.K and Irish channels. I'll get our T.V guy to check this as it's probably needing to be re programmed. You are all most welcome to return again in the future. Thanks Michelle

Hi Toan, Thanks for taking the time to review your stay. I'm sorry that you felt your trip was marred by the rain, it does occur sometimes at this time of year but never stays around for long. I'm really pleased you had a good welcome. Mick and Margaret are lovely people and extremely helpful with managing no.4 as we're based in England. The dining table in the inside living area had 4 chairs. Unfortunately, one of these recently became damaged and we have a replacement on order. We took the decision, when furnishing our home not to overcrowd the interior with 6 chairs. We believe the majority prefer more space in a holiday home, and mainly people eat outside on the large terrace. We have just fitted a brand new boiler so there is usually ample hot water. The shower mixes fine when you let the water run for a few minutes before getting in. The boiler is situated on the roof, therefore it takes a little while to reach the downstairs bathroom. As a family we really dislike microwaves and prefer to cook fresh or bbq outside. However, we do appreciate people use them and had considered getting a small one for our guests. If you refer to the notes on' my property', on our Owners Direct page you will see details regarding microwaves and the swimming pools. It clearly states that the pools are unheated. The tropics is generally really hot, so most people like to cool down in the pool. In winter the sea is always the warmer option. Thanks Michelle

Thanks for taking time to review your recent stay Donald. I'm sorry you felt my home was lacking in a few areas. We love no.4 and visit roughly four times a year ourselves to replenish tired items and enjoy the space. We replace all chipped crockery regularly and have replacement identical sets of mugs, wine glasses and saucepans within our large store on site. Occasionally, as you'd expect some glasses are broken by guests. We have often found replacements that they have kindly bought themselves to replace them. If you had mentioned this to me throughout your stay, I could have sent Mick with all new replacements. The oven in the kitchen is the same as all of the others on our complex. I myself would like another shelf but have been unable to find one for this model. We use a baking tray on the bottom to create more space. The size of our open plan dining kitchen is clearly shown in our photos on our page. I agree the table is fairly small. However, when fitting out our home from scratch, we decided not to clutter it with large unwieldy furnishings. Guests generally prefer to either eat outside on the terrace which as you agreed is really spacious or use the table provided. We're extremely lucky with our home having three terraces to choose from. The front terrace actually has two brand new rattan seats with cushions to sit and have morning coffee or evening drinks. This terrace also has three lightweight sunbeds to enable guests to relax in the winter sun. Our roof terrace is kept mainly clear as we offer yoga camps up there and need a nice space. Fuertaventura is a windy island and as such we have positioned two quality sturdy wooden sun loungers which won't blow about like the cheaper plastic ones. The remaining four portable mesh folding sun loungers are kept on the poolside terrace and can easily be taken to the roof if needed. We feel blessed to have a home which unlike many will always make the most of the sunshine at any time of the year. The pool at El Sultan is gorgeous and kept pristine by our management team Rosa and Carlos. Occasional leaves blown in are quickly retrieved and the complex on the whole is spotless.

Hi Paul, I'm so pleased that you loved your holiday at no.4 and that you're all feeling relaxed after your trip. We are very particular about keeping our home in top condition so people feel really comfortable throughout their stay. We have a good cleaning team on site to keep a check on this in our absence. Hi Brian, I’m delighted that both yourself and your wife loved your stay at no.4. We try our best to keep it smart and visit a few times a year to replace and replenish tired items. It’s great that you discovered some fabulous tapas restaurants. It’s always helpful to also share your bad experiences so thanks for highlighting that particular bar.
