This was our first Christmas away from home. It was absolutely amazing. The property was perfect for our family. I can't praise it enough. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
A unique, peaceful , beautifully renovated/restored/extended and cared for property. Set on its own peninsula giving amazing panoramic sea views from the grounds and almost all rooms in the house. Being able to experience the sights and sounds of the sea in all its glory, wether sitting inside or out, is quite simply amazing. The whole of the Seven Bays is a fantastic area to experience, with many wonderful sights to see and activities to do. Walking, swimming, surfing, chilling out wave watching, bird watching and interesting shops, pubs/ restaurants/cafes..........
Second visit and loved it just as much. House is really perfect. Location is wonderful. Have already booked again. It is a really special house in a very special village and area. You canât help but truly relax and unwind here.
The house is huge and very well-appointed. Beautifully decorated with lovely bed linen & toiletries, etc. The housekeeper was really helpful and the admin-side was handled very professionally.
Even in bad weather we had an amazing stay and we would definitely come back.
The spacious rambling house is wonderfully kept and marvelously equipped for comfort and relaxation. We particuarly enjoyed sitting on the terrace watching glorious sun sets over the sea. Nobody wanted to leave.
Had a lovely time in this beautiful house. Fantastic location right on the coast. Also all the extras provided in the house were really appreciated, from the welcome jam and scones to all the facilities.
We had a fabulous week at this wonderful house which is perched on an outcrop between the rocky and sandy Trevone beaches. Amazing mesmerising views watching the relentless tide ebb and flow from the dinning table, the long veranda and the "love seat". The house is very comfortable with lovely seating areas, reading alcoves and the large garden with dining table was an added bonus. Wonderful holidays for 4 adults and 3 children ranging from ages of 80 to 10 years.

Qui vous reçoit ?
Vous ĂȘtes reçu par Victoria Gulland
Victoria Gulland manages Pentonwarra on behalf of the Porter family. Pentonwarra was once a little shepherd's cottage nestled into the cliffs, but in the early 20th century, it was bought and extended by a great-uncle, who made it into the beautiful home it is now.
Pentonwarra is the perfect holiday home. To the west, the house overlooks Trevone's Rocky Beach, ideal for exploring rock pools, skimming stones, and scrambling around on sun-baked rocks. To the east, the garden overlooks Trevone Bay, where swimmers and surfers share the waves and families play on the golden sand. The sea is so close that you can leave your towel in the garden! Further afield, but still within reach of a delightful walk along the spectacular section of coast path that passes Pentonwarra's front door, lies Padstow. In the other direction lies Trevose Head (whose lighthouse can be seen at night from Pentonwarra), not to mention several landmarks and special beaches and coves on the way. Even so, visitors usually spend most of the time relaxing in the house and garden.
