EXCELLENT GROUND FLOOR APARTMENT. HANDY ACCESS AT BACK GATE TO OUR CAR WHICH WAS PARKED AT THE SIDE. CLEAN, COMFORTABLE BEDS, PLENTY OF HOT WATER AND ALL MOD CONS. EDZELL IS A LOVELY SMALL TOWN WITH SOME GREAT WALKS NEARBY. EMILY WAS A PERFECT HOST WHO EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO US ON ARRIVAL. WE WOULD HAVE NO HESITATION IN STAYING HERE AGAIN.
A super stay with very comfy beds and beautiful quality bed linen. Easy check in and lots of care and attention to detail around the property.
Thank you Emily

We would definitely recommend this spotlessly clean property and stay again. The local pub/ restaurant ( just across the road) served delicious food and are very welcoming. I managed to get some fab photos of the area and Glencoe too
This is a lovely, clean, homely property which was in an ideal location to our family gathering. The tour of the property on arrival was very helpful and Emily was easy to deal with. I would recommend!
Well presented holiday let for my parents who were visiting us in the village. Made it super easy that they could accommodate their well behaved dog too! Will be back!
I had a great time in Emilyâs place. It had everything I needed and the bed was so comfortable. Itâs situated perfectly at the end of the high st and a short walk straight down to the river.
Edzell is a wonderful village and this is a great 2 bed flat to stay in. Clean and well kept. Great facilities and a lovely greeting from Emily when we arrived.
Very nice property, very clean and tidy, has everything you need for a short or a longer stay, very comfortable, had the best sleep while visiting as the location is quite remote and quiet in a beautiful little village. Wonderful, friendly and helpful owner! Couldnât fault it!
Lovely accomadation in a great location.
Stayed for 4 nights
Property has everything needed for a great stay
Immaculately clean throughout. Secure back yard for dog
Would definitely recommend and would happily stay again.
Only negative was the pub across
the road did not allow dogs but that has nothing to do with the property.
Lovely property, spotlessly clean. Emily met us on arrival to show us around and couldnât have been more helpful or informative about the area. Highly recommended!
We stayed in this lovely flat in the pretty village of Edzell for one week. It is spotlessly clean, comfortable, well equipped and in a perfect location. We had great walks in the village and beyond and the park across the road was ideal for our young Labrador. We would definitely recommend it. Many thanks.
The property is a lovely end of village immaculately presented, comfortable home and was a real home from home experience, everything provided that you could possibly need.
Edzell village is delightful, it has a hotel, restaurant pub, supermarket, artisan shop with cafe, 10 min stroll to the river North Esk and the property is directly next to the village park. Numerous walks and local places of interest to visit, we packed in as much as we could but will certainly be returning to investigate more.
A lovely, comfortable, quiet and cozy ground level apartment with all the amenities we were looking for. Emily is a welcoming and helpful host. If you are hikers, check out the Blue Door walk along the Esk or venture to Arbroath and take the Cliffside Trail. Both are stunning.
We were up in Edzell for a wedding and picked this property initially for its location near the church and opposite the reception venue. The property was just perfect for our requirements and was very clean and tidy, if perhaps slightly compact !! Not much space to move around in the bedrooms when it came to getting ready for the wedding (but maybe we're just lucky back home). We sometimes have family get together in Edzell and this property will certainly be on the shortlist for possible accommodation. Really liked it!!
We have lived in Edzell for the last 15 years. I recently retired from the Builders Merchanting Industry and now spend my time golfing, walking, gardening, diy and being a member of the Community Council.
Emily is a retired accountant and she also enjoys the country pursuits.
We both take an active interest in the village and the surrounding countryside and glens.
It is not often that properties come on the market for sale in Edzell. When Edgemuir, 97 High Street and the apartment above it did come onto the market at the same time we thought this was a great opportunity to invest in one of the original houses that was build around 1860.
Edgemuir was in dire need of repair and we took time and care renovating it to a high standard. The property now offers very comfortable and freindly accommodation and has been awarded Scottish Tourist Board 4 star rating.
