the apartment is well appointed for a superb holiday by the sea. once you have tackled the stairs the views make the climb worth the effort.very comfortable apartment and very clean.
We had a very enjoyable holiday in Looe which was helped by the weather being absolutely gorgeous. The property was very clean, tidy and well equipped with an amazing view.
+ Superb spacious fully equipped property with fantastic views over Looe beach.
- The stairs keep you fit, and the parking is as advertised very tight, watch out for the occasional nearby night club evening.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay; the 67 stair steps were a little daunting but when we opened the door and saw our amazing views and accommodations it was well worth it. We especially enjoyed listening to the waves at night. A great find and highly recommended!
We had a wonderful stay in the apartment. The location has to be the best in Looe! The stairs kept us fit (and we could eat more pasties!)
The view from the balconies was amazing. A really well equipped, comfortable apartment! Thank you for letting us stay! We hope to be back!
The property is amazing, with stunning views. Itâs not possible to get a better location in Looe as the restaurants and shops are on the doorstep but when in the property you could be a million miles away as the setting is so tranquil. Yes it has steps but they are easy to climb and the flat is worth it. Had an amazing holiday very sad to leave.
Lovely apartment with the most amazing views. Steps gave us a workout to get to it but more than manageable and for that view its a must. Parking tricky but managed it fine in a Peugeot 2008. Location perfect, rooms clean and tidy and felt more like a home than a holiday let. 100% would return again.
Super apartment / value for money this property. Donât have a bad word to say, stunning views from 3 balconies over Looe beach, very clean, well furnished, comfortable beds, perfect for my family of 5. We shall return! Thanks to the owners for prompt responses and easy payment etc.

This is a great apartment with stunning views. There are quite a few stairs, but that is why you get the view literally overlooking Looe beach. We thought it was fantastic and have actually already booked for next year. Parking is tight but that is to be expected on Looe front! Everything you need is in the apartment including a nice en-suite and large kitchen. Our 10 year old really loved it.
Wow the photo's looked great but the apartment is even better when you are there. Very well equipped enabling out chef daughter to cook an amazing meal with local produce. It is well worth the 67 steps up, we was there for the storm which was great to watch. Theres sky tv, games, puzzles to do on a stormy day lots of books and dvds. Bonus of a car park space. Would highly recommended and would certainly visit again.
Beautiful, very clean, spacious apartment, very well equipped kitchen, stunning views, yes, there are a number of stairs but these are very well lit at night and two hand rails. As the apartment is on the beach front it was great going for a swim. Appreciated the private parking. Would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you for a wonderful stay in your apartment, Reagrads Gary & Helen, The Lake District
We had a return visit and it was just as lovely as we remembered it. The views are lovely, the apartment well resourced and cosy and the location is literally a stones throw from the beach. The car park is a brilliant bonus as parking in Looe would be tricky without it. We got our estate car in - it's tight but doable! The hosts are fab and when lights didn't work their maintenance was out in a flash to fix it. We absolutely love it here and wouldn't hesitate in recomending it.
Wherever we go we try to book somewhere with a balcony/sea view. This view was just gorgeousâŠ. Would have been even better had the weather being the norm for Cornwall. Instead we had a lot of rain although we made the most of the many shops snd restaurants straight outside the communal door which serves 5 apartments.
Jason, the maintenance man was very helpful and he tried so hard to get a replacement for the disheshrtnn
The apartment is spacious with the best views of the bay from three rooms. There was everything needed for a great stay, a well equipped kitchen, cosy lounge and some lovely touches to make your stay feel like a home from home. Plenty of towels and crisp fresh linen on a comfy bed, with a view across the bay from the master bedroom and each balcony had a place to sit and enjoy it. Looe was a nice village, with plenty of shops, pubs and places to dine. We walked the coastal paths and caught the train to Liskeard. The sea in the bay is quite shallow you can stand up quite a way out, and it's a favourite for swimmers and wannabe surfers.
Unfortunately we were given the wrong key safe code, so a slight delay in entering the appt. then the heating boiler broke, but Michelle was fantastic in keeping us updated and finding another apartment within the same block. The apartment was beautifully decorated with everything you needed supplied, along with fantastic views from the balconies in a perfect location. Car parking is very tight, and lots of stairs, but worth it! (Ideally would love a king size bed in main bedroom) Many thanks Michelle.
My wife and I were looking for a place to stay for our very first holiday as a family with our baby boy. We came across this apartment which appeared to offer a spacious, clean, comfortable apartment and epic Cornish seaviews.
Michelle was great with communications at the early booking stages and throughout. There were helpful guidance notes sent on approach to the stay.
The apartment was amazing and lived up to the description. We enjoyed a lovely homely space right on the doorstep of Looe and also enjoyed those beautiful sea views all week.
I would not hesitate to stay here again on a future visit to Looe.
Thanks for a great stay and for helping make our first family holiday a success!!
We absolutely loved our stay at Waters Edge; weâve stayed in many self catering properties and this was definitely one of the best, and in the best location.
Not only are the views beautiful and uninterrupted but the apartment is well furnished and the kitchen is very well equipped.
Beds were comfortable and the showers were good.
Thereâs a bar/pub just below but we didnât find this too noisy and any noise there was finished early evening (and the seagulls were actually noisier!).
It was brilliant being so close to everything and being able to sit on one of the 3 balconies hearing seaside activity was perfect. The balcony from the kitchen also meant that dining had a view too.
Only slight downsides are that the single 3rd bedroom is pretty compact with little storage (plenty elsewhere) and the parking space could be tricky for a larger car or an estate.
Overall the photos donât do it justice and we would definitely like to return.
We had an amazing stay for a week in Looe. A return visit to the town but first stay in this property. It didnât disappoint.
It was spacious, bright, comfortable and very well equipped. It was a real home away from home especially as we had rain for the first two days. We were happy to just stay in!
Itâs number one feature is itâs prime location. You really are at the heart of everything and it had private parking. Overlooking the beach with 3 ample balconies to chose from, it really was a stones throw from the sea. Stunning views and the binoculars were a great touch.
If I had to be picky, I didnât love the stairs but as the listing says, itâs a price worth paying when you see the views. Iâm totally unfit and I managed them!
Over all itâs a fantastic place to stay. Would highly recommend recommend.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Looe. The pictures of the apartment don't do it justice, especially the views from all three of the balconies!
The kitchen was well equipped and came with a welcome basket with some coffee and tea for when you turn up.
We stayed with our 3 children (Aged 13, 10 and 6) and there was plenty of space for all of us. The flat has two double rooms and a single. The master room has an en-suite and a balcony and the other double and single are at the back of the flat.
There are 67 steps up to the flat but as the owners say its worth it. Parking is tight and you have to drive through Looe (in the restricted access zone) to get to it. If you are arriving at a busy time of year then there are alot of people on small streets for you to drive through. However town didn't get busy until after 10am and after 6pm it was easy to navigate.
We were so close to the beach that it made the family holiday easy. It has been a lovely stay and I thoroughly recommend staying in the flat, its a truly spectacular place to stay.
My daughter and I spent 4 days at this lovely apartment and we both fell in love with it. It is spacious, comfortable, immaculately clean, and has absolutely everything you may need and want. The location is brilliant, you can literally roll out of bed and have breakfast in one of Looe's lovely cafes, and multiple restaurants are literally on your doorstep (we recommend Papa Nino for a truly delicious Italian). You can also cook and eat in as the kitchen is fabulously equipped including such luxuries as a dishwasher. The views towards the sea are simply breath taking and we even enjoyed some rain in Looe as that gave us an excuse to have some lazy times in the living room watching the waves roll in. The apartment has a car park which is quite rare in Looe, and last but definitely not the least - Michelle the owner is very helpful and flexible. We are already planning to go back next year and in the meantime we recommend this apartment to anybody who is looking for a spacious and comfortable place in Looe.
Enjoy your stay as much as we did!

We purchased this beautiful apartment in August 2013 having immediately fallen in love with it. We wanted something special close to the beach with stunning views and feel that we have the perfect property to offer to our customers to run as our holiday let. We think the apartment is in an excellent location and the perfect choice for a holiday by the sea. We do not live locally but we do have someone who looks after the apartment for us and so would be on hand if any difficulties or problems arise.
I hadnât been back to Looe since I was a teenager. I loved it then and still do today. Its a lovely place and somewhere that you can relax and unwind. Looe is somewhere we felt we could retire to in future years and absolutely love it here.
The apartment is in the perfect location, right on the beach yet within a stroll to everything you could want. The apartment is very spacious and there are lovely big windows to the front of the building giving lots of natural light and spectacular views. The kitchen is really big with a table and chairs so you can eat as a family when not dining out.
