Mr. King, Thank you for your review. I am glad you liked the office, entertainment center, art work, mattress, etc. The cookware has been ordered and is being replaced. I appreciate your note on that! Our goal is to have fully functional living quarters in an aesthetically pleasing setting. I purchased the home in 2004 with the aim of utilizing it as a weekend and summer house for my travels to San Antonio, so as a homeowner, I can certainly appreciate wanting to have everything just right. The house resides in Lookout Canyon, which like much of Stone Oak is rolling hills. The beauty of being in a Canyon, means that the grades are hilly versus flat like most neighborhoods. I am glad you liked the recreational area. The home builders across the Stone Oak area developed exceptional recreational centers to off-set the experience of living in a limestone canyon composed of these gently rolling hills. We also love having the use of a pool, sand volleyball courts, tennis courts, and a play equipment for kids. It’s in walking distance of the house or a very short drive if one plans on carrying coolers, towels, and food for an extended time at the recreational center. Thanks again for your review!

We loved having Greg as a guest! San Antonio is the 7th largest city in the U.S., slated to move to be the 6th largest city in the U.S. between this year and next. Pre-Covid, San Antonio has been adding 66 new residents a day, for several years. Traffic is like any major metropolitan area. The great news is that after several years of highway infrastructure construction, the 5 mile construction is 90 percent complete (estimated) and the ton of new lanes on both sides of the freeway has cut down on commute times immensely. During typical daytime travel I can access those 5 newly developed miles of major lane additions, in 8 to 10 minutes!

Holiday traffic has certainly affected SA in all areas of town as we climbed to be the 7th largest city in the U.S. We have had about 66 people moving into San Antonio every day, for the past 2 plus years. We love that our city is growing and bringing in great workforce talent as well as expanded venues for locals and tourists. This has resulted in a lot of new restaurants in the area, a plothera of shopping venues, and easy no traffic access to the distilleries and vineyards up 281 into the hill country. As Christmas has ended the traffic will return to normal levels in all areas of town. Thanks for your stay!
