Fantastic little stay

Everything you would want for a relaxing get away. I felt as ease taking our puppy and everything was pet friendly for him. All the little touches were a added bonus. Neighbours were friendly too. Highly recommended

Looking for somewhere a little different for my partners birthday and this worked great. Lovely hot tub, pizza oven and sauna, perfect size for a couple to get away from it all and relax.

Romantic birthday getaway

I booked Owls Hoot for the Easter weekend as a romantic getaway for my girlfriend's birthday. Right from the word go the communication from the hosts was outstanding. The property itself was everything promised and more. On arrival there were banners balloons chocolates and a bottle of prosecco to help us celebrate. The barn was clean tidy and we'll equipped. Hot tub and sauna were well used and were clean and ready to use I would highly recommend Owls hoot and will definitely be back there again!

Felt like home

We really enjoyed our stay at owls hoot. It felt so homely and we felt completely relaxed over the few days we stayed. We had masseuse come to the property and gave us both hot stone massages. We had the log burner on aswell so it was really cosy. Thank you for such an amazing stay! We can’t wait to book again.

Fab weekend break

Owls Hoot was extremely comfortable and was a lovely base for a chilled weekend away, the hot tub was fantastic! The owners were very informative and helpful on the lead up to our stay and the addition of a ‘happy birthday’ banner that was put up was a lovely thoughtful touch! Would highly recommend!

Pure relaxation

It really shows when the host knows what they are doing and really cares about providing the best experience for their guests. The information provided when we booked was welcoming and detailed, and it's always nice as a guest to have a house manual you can refer to if needed. It's also the little touches that make you feel welcome - the welcome package of essentials (yes, Prosecco is an essential), the way the property is presented - which all helps with the experience, especially on a short stay. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to anyone looking for a break in this beautiful part of the country.

Relaxation with a touch of luxury

An ideal place to get away from it all and de-stress. The hot tub was fantastic and really enjoyed a visit to the four horseshoes for lunch.

Simply divine

The most beautiful property. Well maintained. Hot tub and sauna both lovely. Wood burning stove with plenty of wood provided. Everything was great. Garden was beautiful. We will definitely stay again. Owners were efficient and understanding considering the difficulties of covid.

Romantic barn Conversion with private hot-tub and sauna

John was a great host, responsive and informative. The property was perfect for a weekend away, within driving distance of some lovely parts of Suffolk countryside and coast. We would love to come back to explore some more, the barn is perfect for relaxing after a day out!

Beautiful

The cottage was beautifully clean when we arrived and the owners had put up a banner of congratulations on our wedding as we had chosen to stay here for a little mini moon. It was exactly what we needed and we enjoyed walking to the local pub for dinner and drinks.

Cute cosy little cottage. Ideal for a relaxing break

Beautiful place to stay for a few days. Cottage was very clean throughout. Lovely little garden, ideal for small dogs. Fire was already set up! Hot tub was fantastic. Especially in the evening looking at the stars. Points to improve on ( nothing major) Front door keys are a little stiff. Bifolds need readjusting. Could’ve done with slightly more cutlery. Bathroom could do with more than one loo roll! Other than that, perfect. Would highly recommend and would certainly come back! Hoot hoot!

Ideal cottage for a couples getaway

My wife and I spent a week over the Christmas period. Nicely furnished cottage with a cosy wood burner and a private hot tub. Located within a lovely village and gives you a real feel of escapism. Would definitely recommend and look forward to visiting again.

A secluded and quiet property - nicely furnished, well equipped and comfortable. Spotlessly clean. The hot tub is fabulous! Great for exploring the local countryside and some great gastro pubs. Ideal for romantic getaways.

we stayed at the owl hoot barn for my husbands 40th as a surprise for him and we had such a brilliant time we are planning on come back next year. John and Katie have been wonderful with any queries I had. on arrival their was a welcome basket and the hot tube was hot and ready to hop in. thank you so much for a dream get away
