Lovely, chilled stay. Nice area. Very friendly locals. Villa a little tired in some areas, but overall had everything we needed, comfortable, lovely pool and views. Owner very helpful and provided a lovely welcome pack. Good location to explore the island. You do need a car, but there is a bus service next to villa.
Overall happy with our stay at the villa. Outdoors was lovely, picturesque views on the balcony, the pool is a large size and not to deep. The village is quiet and peaceful if this is what you want.
Kitchen does have everything you need, and the bedrooms had AC and enough cupboard space. Would be good if there was AC in kitchen/living room but then we were out mostly during the day and in the evenings we would sit outside as it was cooler.
I went with my husband and two boys age 9 and 12. They loved the pool.
Definitely need a car and is about 30-35 mins drive to Coral Bay / Paphos. We all had a good time.
Our stay here was nostalgic as my husband was born in the next village of Phyti! This is a modern house that feels very traditional. It sits on the hillside, offers spectacular sunsets, clean and comfortable, good kitchen and baths. The pool is lovely, surrounded by pomegranate tree and rosemary. You can have a good walk in the village or jump in the car to drive into Paphos or to the beach at Coral Bay or up into the wine country in the hills. Beautiful area to explore, great house which fits families, comfortable beds and very clean. Highly recommended
Staying at the villa was a relaxing experience. The weather was absolutely gorgeous - we barely felt the heatwave on the island. The location wise offers a peaceful view of the hills, but having a car is essential.
The villa was clean, stocked with the essentials (plates, towels, dishwasher, washing machine etc). We did have a problem with the washing machine not working, but the owner is very responsive and she had arranged for a new machine to be replaced the next working day.
Very pleased with the overall experience; will definitely book again.
We have just returned from a very enjoyable 2 week stay at Villa Alexandros. The villa is situated in a quiet location in the hills about 25 mins from busy Paphos town below. There are small villages nearby to stock up on essentials, but a car is essential for getting out and about. The villa itself was beautiful, with a large airy open plan lounge/dining/kitchen as you walked into the villa. There was a balcony leading from here where we would sit many an evening watching the sunset over the hills. The bedrooms were situated downstairs where it was cooler and opened out onto the pool area , which had a large sunbathing area with loungers. The villa had everything you would need from a water cooler (well used!) to beach towels and was spotlessly clean. Sharon the owner was fantastic and sorted out any queries (via email) very efficiently and made sure that there were some food essentials waiting for us upon our arrival. Overall had a very relaxing holiday and would love to visit again.
We had one of our beautiful and calm Christmas holidays in this villa.
It is a place where you can visit with your family and young children, with your partner or for people over 50 all year round and especially during summer vacations. Even though we went in winter, i am sure in the summer is far better as Cyprus is well-known for the hot sunny season.
It is a large Villa attractively built of natural stone in harmony with wooden window frames and doors giving it a homely country appearance. The Villa is situated on a large plot of land with the green mountain views grace the view from all angles.
We stayed in Villa Alexandros during Christmas time. The villa was fantastic, we also made use of the fire place.
We visited the nearby taverns and villages. The People are very friendly and hospitable. The location of the villa is excellent. We will definitely be back in summer 2015.

We Live in Dubai and run our own company and like most people we have very busy lives so we escape to Villa Alexandros at every opportunity.
We came across the village by chance on a sight seeing day out in the area. At that time I was pregnant with my son (Alex) Seen the FOR SALE sign and called the seller, it was a lengthy negotiation but well worth it. We adore Villa Alexandros, and the views are simply breathtaking.
