We had an amazing time staying at Delamore Cottage and the hosts Sue and John were very friendly and helpful, making the stay really enjoyable. Our daughters enjoyed the swimming pool which was at a perfect temperature and free to use whenever we wanted to use it. Fully recommend it if looking to stay in the area.
We had a wonderful week- house and garden were so comfortable and well equipped - everything thatâs needed- pool was warm and so much fun, beds were all really good too and John n Sue Sid everything to make our stay a memorable one. Thank you - we were certainly sad to leave
Sue and John really were the most perfect hosts - Super friendly, communicative and full of great local advice! It was our daughter's birthday when we visited so they'd decorated the place with banners and balloons and left both our daughters some chocolates! It was the sweetest gesture! The pool was the highlight. We had exclusive use of the pool and garden swimming every day and the pool was always clean and well-heated. The double bedroom on the ground floor was also convenient to my elderly parents. All in all, a lovely week, thank you.
Stayed with my family for 4 nights. We had a great time and the pool was excellent. The hosts John and Sue were fantastic and very helpful. Lovely relaxing break.
We had a really relaxing 9 day break with our 2 kids particularly enjoying the lovely swimming pool. There was plenty to interest us all nearby, for example day trips to Sandringham and Burghley. John and Sue were great hosts, made us feel most welcome and were really responsive.
Beautiful cottage with picturesque views of the garden. The pool was a huge hit with the family and we can't wait to return at some point soon. Hosts were fabulous and couldn't do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you for having us.
We had a lovely stay at Delamore cottage for my birthday. The cottage and adjoining house are set in beautiful grounds and as we were lucky with the weather really enjoyed sitting out on the patio and admiring the surroundings. The pool was a great addition after a day out sightseeing.
The hosts are a really nice friendly couple.
We would definately visit again.
We all throughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was the relaxing break we needed. From the minute we arrived John and Sue made us feel welcome and were happy to help with any questions we had. The cottage itself was charming, set in beautiful grounds and surprisingly spacious. The unlimited access to the pool was a big hit with the family and made our stay enjoyable even on rainy days. We will definitely visit again!
Really great hosts who provided us with lots of information on the area. The food hamper with bread, tea coffee and chocolate went down a treat. Garden was great for our dog to run round in and we all loved the private heated pool. Good location for Hunstanton, sandringham and other places. Would definitely recommend!
We had a great 4 night stay in January 2022 and visited Hunstanton, Wells etc.
Sue and John were very accommodating hosts, we would highly recommend this cottage for anyone wishing to explore this part of Lincolnshire. 5 out of 5 rating.
Easy to book, hosts were lovely. They were friendly, welcoming and communicative, allowing us our space but providing all that we needed plus an Easter extra treat for us.
We had a very enjoyable stay. The hosts made us feel very welcome without being intrusive. The kids loved the pool and the dog loved the enclosed garden. Beds were really comfy and there was plenty of space to hang out indoors on the rainy days. Totally worth 5 stars
The house and attached accommodation is so lovely. The host Sue couldnât have been more friendly and was so generous. We had gorgeous weather so made good use of the pool every day. Beaches are about an hourâs drive away but mini supermarkets are all quite local. Overall a lovely stay.
My family and I had a wonderful week. John and Sue were great hosts and I cannot recommend this property enough. It worked so well having a bedroom downstairs with the en suite for my mother so she didnât have to climb the stairs! It was also an excellent base to explore the area. Thank you John and Sue for a great cottage.
Had a weeks stay in September. Luckily for us the weather was still warm and all enjoyed several afternoons on the patio dipping in and out of the pool.
Our hosts were just lovely - very warm and and friendly, and we felt most welcome and well looked after.
The property itself was homely and well kept, and was just the right size for our large family of five.
The village is nice and has all you need, but you should be ready for an hours drive to get to most local "family" day trips.
Would definitely return!
Our lovely period House and garden (1705 ) are a short distance from lovely Norfolk beaches and National Trust Properties; the cathedral cities of Lincoln, Norwich and Peterborough are a short drive away as is Cambridge.
