Lovely views of the countryside and mountains, and the sea in the distance. Peaceful, lush, agricultural location. Handy for the old town of Teror and around 40 minutes from the airport. No passing traffic as villa is almost at the end of a very steep narrow lane. We had a small hire car, but a large SUV would struggle to get through the gate.
Rustic traditional style old villa, with plenty of space. Mostly fine but in need of some updates and new equipment. House electrics looked modern and OK but the toaster (which looked very old) gave me a serious electric shock but the trip didn't go off. Some mugs and crockery chipped. Shower tricky to adjust and the hot water was incredibly hot- potentially quite dangerous.
Comfy furniture and bed. Plenty of sofas and chairs. Heating not really adequate for cool February mornings and evenings. The friendly owner/manager greeted us with a huge plate full of fresh oranges and lemons out of her orchard, but we didn't see her again after the first day. Sadly, our Spanish was like her English: non-existant
This property was the perfect location for us to explore the whole island. It has a wonderful walk via the back of the property through Finca Osoris to Teror. The front terrace gets the sun in the morning and early afternoon which was lovely for lazy mornings. The property could have done with abit of airing before we arrived and one of the rooms was very damp and filled up 2litres of water in the dehumidifier in 24 hrs! But otherwise it was perfect for our needs and the owners gave us us wonderful fruit from their garden, really lovely to get a feel of local Canarian life here.
