Very good; a tasteful and well-resourced property located in a quiet village in the heart of ravishing countryside. Wonderful food and wine locally. One or two things missing like an iron/ironing board and surprising that one had to provide one's own towels. But these are minor - the key questions are (1) value for money - not cheap but yes and (2) would I return - again yes. Owners themselves very accommodating..
Le Cochon Volant is a wonderful home as well as holiday rental. Set in a small friendly traditional village, it is a beautiful, and sympathetically restored, spacious farm house which is a perfect fusion of traditional and modern architecture. It has everything (and more) that one would need, and is superbly furnished with old and new styling throughout. As well as the house being amazing we fell in love with the area too, so many things to do, see and explore. A week simply was just not long enough! We will definitely be going back. A huge thank you to the owners for making us so welcome and sharing their lovely idyllic home with us.

It was our third stay in Le Cochon this autumn. I have a tendency of not going back to our travel destinations -so many amazing places to chose from âŠBut Le Cochon is magic! It is actually not easy to put this experience into words - house is immaculate and has so many charming, very chic and rustic design moments. You feel cared and trusted by owners who just let you into their treasured space .What we really like is that itâs settled within the very small group of other sweet little houses, so you feel part of the small community enjoying the unique top of the hill position.
The landscape outside is ever changing. We are either lucky or it is just a rule that even at the end of October you get glorious sunny weather there mixed perhaps with mystical foggy mornings or evenings or bit of a windy day for a changeâŠ
Food must be at the heart of local people there -temptations in every village shop. The best chicken (yes chicken but nothing like the chicken we have) we ever cooked was from the local butcher, unobtainable wild mushrooms, the best pralines that haunt me when back at home and of course wine âŠ.
My children feel very much at home there and I cannot stop writing this review because there are too many good things to say about Le Cochon and places that surrounds it. So authentically French and a real treasure of a holiday place.
Thank you so much for letting us share this experience.
