White Oak Cabin est situé sur la Petite Pee Dee dans la section de l'Britton cou du comté de Marion, Caroline du Sud. Il est endroit confortable pour passer quelques jours tranquilles le long de la Petite Pee Dee, en Caroline du Sud désigné River Scenic.
La rivière est idéal pour le kayak, le canotage, la pêche ou simplement se détendre! La cabine est situé à environ 30 minutes de Myrtle Beach et University Côte de Caroline. Marion historique et le Musée Mullins tabac sont à 20 minutes. De nombreux invités précédents ont utiliser la cabine comme une base pour explorer Charleston, Myrtle Beach et participer à des activités sportives et des événements musicaux au littoral.

Wonderful get away!!

Roy is super nice and it was easy to communicate with him as he would respond quickly to any questions. The neighbors on both sides of him are super friendly and the neighbors boxer had a good time hanging out and playing with our dog. It is a quiet little neighborhood. Hope to get back soon. Thank you Roy for sharing your cabin for people to enjoy!

Great for nature lovers!

We spent a month here to get away from the northern winter and it was great! We loved the river, the trees, the huge variety of birds and the quiet. Roy’s affordable, get-away-from-it-all cabin is located in a tiny neighborhood of mostly second homes along the Little Peedee River. It’s spacious, comfortable and nicely appointed. It’s a little out of the way but not a bad drive to Conway and Myrtle Beach. It was a good place to experience some real Southern hospitality. Roy was a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful. We won’t hesitate to come back!

Weekend Getaway

I really enjoyed the property with my two boys. They had so much fun fishing on the floating dock. Even though they didn't catch anything the piece they experienced was refreshing. I made sure to sign the guest book and Roy was such a pleasant person to finally meet in person.

A Month at the Little Pee Dee Cabin

We booked Roy's cabin for a month to escape the snow. Roy was there to greet us and show us around when we arrived. He was VERY helpful and responsive throughout our stay. We ended up with a flat tire and he got us connected with the repair shop close by. It was fixed within an hour! The neighborhood is quiet with just a few cars coming and going. Easy to get in a daily walk if that's your thing. The water is steps away from the cabin. It has a large screen porch. The furnishings are homey and comfortable. Everything worked as expected. Whether you're looking for a quiet spot to relax, or a place to stay that's handy to Myrtle Beach/Conway/Florence, you won't be disappointed. We REALLY enjoyed our time here. And Roy was a perfect host.

Best Stay Ever!

This place was so amazing and very peaceful! Yes it's a did to get anywhere but I wouldn't trade it for anything. We didn't want to leave because it's so beautiful here! We will definitely be back! Roy and his wife was so helpful and very kind! Thank you guys again for sharing!

Very relaxing and time well spent

Loved being here , all the necessities for a great time . My only regret was due to medical issues , I didn't want to chance taking my boat . Had a blast fishing , even with high water , caught a few very nice cat fish . Mr Roy and his wife are very personable people and welcomed us right in . very good people persons . Always nice to know and meet people that enjoy meeting other people. Can't say enough how much we enjoyed our time there . Hope to see you again soon

Excellent cabin on the Little Pee Dee River

We were totally happy with the cabin. One problem was the cell phone connection. We are on Verizon and had one bar to no bars all the time. I have to thank Roy for havIng installed a cell booster yet for Verizon it didn’t help. The television is operating on an in door digital antenna. Reception was spotty yet a few channels worked well. The bed was very comfortable and all appliances worked perfectly.

Second time here. Grew up in this area fishing on the river with my daddy. Quite, peaceful and tucked away cabin.

River Relaxin'

White Oak cabin is a great place to rest and enjoy time together. We loved sitting by the river, walking through the neighborhood, playing games, and cooking in the iron skillet! The location is great for exploring the surrounding area-- Huntington Beach State Park is about an hour away. Check out the buffet at SchoolHouse BBQ in Scranton. Roy is a great host. Thanks for answering all of our questions beforehand and leaving the light on for us!

Quietest little River cabin in South Carolina

From start to finish Roy was amazing we stayed with our three Boykin Spaniels (state dog of South Carolina). There was plenty of room for them to run around and be dogs. The amenities were perfect for our needs and even the limited cell signal was a nice break. Thank you again for having us and I have already suggested the cabin to my boyfriend and his fishing buddies for their monthly guy get-a-ways!

If you want quietness this is the place. Lake right out the door. Water pressure was amazing. As well as having box fans which was very nice. This cute little cabin was just like the photos. Very cute Mom and Pop shop down the road for breakfast, lunch and dinner very good. Myrtle Beach was about 45 min ride, Tanger and so on. We really enjoyed the peace and quite. Thank you again. A chance to unplug and relax with family !

Loved this cabin's location on the Little Pee Dee. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful. Originally intended for a place to stay while we went to Darlington for both Saturday and Sunday NASCAR racing. Spent both mornings fishing, canoeing and sitting at this cabins boat dock. Grilled lunch on the provided charcoal grill. Close enough for us to spend our arrival day afternoon at Myrtle Beach. We will be back !! I was amazed at NO mosquitoes or gnats while enjoying the outside by the water. Roy was an awesome and welcoming host ! Cabin was clean and well loved by its owners ! I embraced the lack of wifi and 4G cell service as it gave us the opportunity to enjoy family time and appreciate the natural beauty that the cabin is surrounded by. Praying that Hurricane Dorian was kind and left this place unharmed ! Thanks again Roy for sharing your family's vacation home with us !

We built this Cabin while our children were in school. It was constructed in the winter using local craftsmen and farm workers who needed work in the off season.. The children are now adults and we enjoy having our grandchildren visit us there. As they are away at college and some even planning to marry, there is lots of time to have special guests come for a week-end or more. I am now retired and spend my days golfing or tinkering around the Cabin. I really enjoy trying my hand in woodworking and you can see the results of my efforts when you come to visit.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

My wife, Mary, said to me when Lee and Carla were still in High School that if we were to ever build a Cabin, we should do it while they were close by. We originally thought we only were interested in water skiing, but now we know that whether low or high, Little Pee Dee is a unique little river that is always a joy.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The White Oak Cabin is situated in an area that is quite secluded but not far away either. The Grand Strand is an easy drive as is Marion, Johnsonville or Conway. Webster Manor lunch buffet in Mullins is legendary and only twenty minutes away.
It is never crowded at White Oak. A holiday week-end may see a half dozen boats and on a regular week day there is hardly any traffic at all!
A paved boat ramp is a very short walk from the Cabin. Often, sandbars with pure white sand line the river banks.
