Un beau, spacieux, 3ème étage, appartement d'une chambre situé dans Marina Village, sur le front de mer, dans le coeur historique d'Olhao. Cet appartement moderne et climatisé dispose d'un grand balcon où vous pourrez vous asseoir et profiter de la superbe vue imprenable sur l'océan et la réserve naturelle de Ria Formosa. Il y a une piscine sur le toit où vous pouvez profiter d'une vue à 360 degrés sur la ville d'Olhao, la marina, et à travers les îles d'Armona et Culatra avec leurs belles plages de sable blanc. Ces ihlas sont facilement accessibles par les ferries qui partent du quai, à quelques pas, le long de la promenade pavée agréable. Vous trouverez une multitude de restaurants, de boutiques et de bars le long du front de mer et dans les rues pavées et sinueuses, toutes accessibles à pied. Olhao a un marché quotidien où vous pouvez acheter du poisson et des fruits de mer fraîchement pêchés, ainsi que des fruits et légumes cultivés localement.

Amazing apartment and stay

We stayed 9 nights the apartment was perfect it had everything you needed and more chairs for beach etc. parking right outside the apartment. The location is perfect short walk to all the bars and restaurants and about 15 minute walk to the water taxis. Highly recommend would definitely stay next time in Olhao

Appartment and views were ideal,close to all facilities and only a 20 mins walk to the train station and 5 mins to various bars and restaurants.Just what we wanted and the weather for September was glorious.

Ideal for us: pleasant view of the salt flats, convenient to market, restaurants, and harbour. There's enough kitchen for a bit of cooking at home, Olhão is a short drive from neighbouring towns/attractions. Recommended.

Excellent location and easy access

Views over the salt pans and west to Faro give a lovely evening view. Clean, modern and all facilities good. Lift makes access very easy, with parking below. Bedding not so good, needs updating and better pillows. Overall though, excellent.

Perfect apartment

We were very happy with this apartment. Comfortable, clean and it had everything you need throughout your holiday( even a shopping trolley and bags for shopping) Wonderful views from the balcony over the saltflats with storks, pink flamingos and other birds. (Binoculars provided for closer look) The pool on the roof also has wonderful views over the surrounding area and plenty of sun beds to sit and relax. We love Olhao with the many bars and restaurants available. We really enjoyed the new Marina Village centre just a short stroll from the apartment. Cocktail bars, restaurants and live entertainment right on the door step! We hope to return to this great apartment soon.

Light in the apartment

We enjoyed our stay, but one thing Can be improved! The Lightning in the Living room, is no good for Reading, there is only one light i the cealing with 4 light bulb’s and only two was working. Put two floor lams in the room, and everyone Will be happy. Ole Romer, Denmark

Ideal Apartment

This was our 3rd stay in this clean, modern and confortable apartment.We didnt know what to expect weather wise in February, but out of the 3 weeks stay we had one day of light drizzle. The rest of the time temperature was between 16/20 c but chilly in the evenings. All amenites are a short walk away and a variety of restaurants to choose from, to suit all tastes. 3 large supermarkets are close by, and there's even a shopping trolley provided, to get your provisions. Within easy walking distance is the railway station, Fuseta and Tavira are worth a visit only a short train ride away. We paid another visit to Faro as we never tire of the old town. We would definetly recommend this apartment to anyone who is wanting a relaxing break. We are both looking forward to returning in the Autumn, There are 3 large supermarkets

Enjoyed Olhao. Apartment large and in good position. Lovely balcony. Short walk to the marina, bars and restaurants. Restaurants are plentiful. Lots of small restaurants dotted around the little streets beyond the marina. 3 supermarkets within walking distance. Shopping trolley provided which is handy. The train is definitely worth using. Remember to use bus pass or proof of age to get discount if eligible. You can also buy tickets on the train. Worth taking a day trip to ayamonte in spain which is a must . Ferry terminal is a very close to the centre so no long trecks. Train to vila real san antonio and a short walk to the ferry for a very short hop across the river. Buy ferry ticket from the booth opposite the ferry. Looking forward to visiting again and would definitely book this apartment again.

Great Location

A superb location for Olhao town and a great base for sight seeing. The apartment overlooks the salt marshes and you can relax enjoy the sunshine on the balcony watching the locals and birds activities. It is so well placed for the old town and the fresh fish and fruit markets are absolutely superb. The Mars rep was very efficient on showing us around the apartment and was available if we had issues( The toaster needed replacing and she did this the same day). The apartment itself is large clean and very modern, the downside is that the beds are extremely hard and there were no cleaning products left for us to ensure that we left the place as we found it. Other rental properties we have used always provide a welcome basket to get you started and some items such as cooking oil and herbs to ensure a good stay - there was nothing at all in the apartment. Having said that Lidl is just down the road. This would certainly make the rating 5 star if provided.

Die Wohnung ist eigentlich okay. AaaaaberBei Einzug wurde und nicht gesagt das wir die Wohnung erstmal putzen und aufräumen müssen.-Müll in Form von Leeren Flaschen, schmutzigen Lappen Küchenschwämchen schmutzig Schränke mit Haaren Flecken Brotkrümmel und vieles mehr drin- Abgelaufene Lebensmittel von den Vormietern- In den Schränken im Bad waren von den Vormieter Hygineartike Müll und Dreck- Im Schlafzimmerschrank findet man zwei benutzte Sektgläser Staub und Müll-Zeitungsstappel von 2018- Sonnenschirm der kaputt war -von sieben Tagen sechs Tage Baustellenlärm von der anderen Straßenseite Alles im allen Für die Baustelle kann man nichts Aber eine Wohnung für diesen Preis erwarte ich etwas anderes und ganz wichtig sauber und ohne Müll der Vorgänger

Um bom alojamento numa zona muito sossegada. Pena não haver ar condicionado na cozinha e corredor (pois acaba por ser demasiado calor). Mas no entanto deu para relaxar muito bem. Conforto muito bom.

We live in North Wales and first holidayed in the Eastern Algarve in 2007. We love it here, with the relaxing pace of life, the friendly people, the beautiful beaches and the all-year-round sun. The flight to Faro is only two and a half hours for us, and then from the airport it's a 15 minute drive to Olhao. If we catch an 8.00 am flight we can be here by lunchtime. When we had the chance to buy this lovely waterfront apartment here, with such a stunning view of the ocean and nature reserve, we couldn’t resist it.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We consider this area of the Algarve to be largely unspoilt by tourism. Although Olhao is a tourist destination it retains its charm as it is still very much a traditional Portuguese fishing town. The restaurants here have lovely, fresh food and wine at very reasonable prices, whereas many other holiday destinations have become expensive, especially to eat out. We love taking the ferry to the sandspit islands of Armona or Culatra; it is like stepping back in time, wandering past the pretty beach houses that line the paths to the beautiful white sandy beaches. There are no cars there and the beaches are never crowded, even in high season. The countryside inland is beautiful and we have spent many days exploring the various tiny hilltop villages where time seems to have stood still.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

All the restaurants, cafe-bars, shops, markets and banks are within a short walk of the apartment, yet at the same time, it is just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the main street in Olhao, so you have the best of both worlds.

You can chill out on the balcony, or in the rooftop pool after a day of sightseeing. The fact that only a few of the apartments in the building have access to this pool is definitely a bonus. The views and sunsets from our balcony are breathtaking; the only downside is having to tear ourselves away from the view when it is time to return home to the UK. After all, there are not many places you get the chance to see pink flamingoes whilst you are eating your breakfast..
