Situé dans l'exclusif Quinta dos Alamos et niché loin dans la plus tranquille des impasses, est Casa do Moinho. En interne, la villa récemment rénovée propose des chambres spacieuses avec climatisation complète, Internet WIFI, une cuisine bien équipée, aménagement confortable et dispose de toutes les commodités modernes qui rendront votre séjour agréable et sans tracas. Extérieurement Casa do Moinho dispose de vastes pelouses manucurées, qui sont délicieusement isolée, la forme de rein piscine (10x5m) avec escalier romain, peut être chauffée (en option) et est entourée de terrasses. Il a une brique construite barbecue avec éclairage pour faciliter la cuisson de nuit. Situé à seulement 10 minutes à pied de Guia Village, Algarve Shopping le plus grand complexe commercial de régions, est à quelques minutes en voiture. Les magnifiques plages de Gale et Salgados sont juste un court trajet en voiture qui ont tous les bars de plage / restaurants et des installations complètes.

Fabulous holiday

3 of us stayed here (all 50+ friends) - suited us perfectly. Excellent villa, very easy to get to, brilliant location, pool and garden really lovely, lots of lovely restaurants within 5-10 mins walk and mini mercado sold pretty much all you would want. Highly recommend will definitely be rebooking again next year.

Excellent property!

Lovely house , in a quiet residential area, but within a mile of shops, cafes etc. Large very private garden , with beautiful plants. Lovely swimming pool. As we went in November for 3 weeks, we paid extra for heating it. The owners were easy to contact if advice etc needed. Cant think of anything the house lacked. There was an Airfryer, cooker, dishwasher, washing machine , tumble dryer, 2 fridges etc etc. Would recommend this property.

Peaceful and relaxing

The Villa is very private with a good size garden/lawn area. Lovely pool and lots of outdoor space. The villa is well equipped in the kitchen, and an outside BarBQ. All in all, clean and well presented!

Perfect choice for holidaying with friends and children

The pool and gardens were private and secure. We ate in the outside dining area the whole week and bbq'd every evening. Eat access to shops and beaches yet far enough away from the resorts and nightlife to enjoy ourselves in a quiet neighbourhood.

Second visit, not dissapointed, will book again

This was our second stay at the villa. We love it because it ticks many boxes for us and our friends. . The garden is completely secure, with two young children to keep an eye on it gives us a great deal of peace of mind. The pool is lovely and worth the cost of paying for heating as we were in and out of it all day, and lovely for the children to keep warm. Large garden, great facilities, close to a fantastic supermarket and an easy drive to the coast. The owners are easily contactable and very obliging.

Wonderful villa

Located approx 15min drive from albufeira old town on a private estate sits this lovely villa with its own large pool. The villa is large and spacious, well equipped, with air conditioning in every room. The villa has a new sofa to that of the one in the photo and has been updated. The directions given were spot on, and found the property with ease. The owners were quick to respond to any questions i had. Mini market and local restaurants 5min drive away. I would suggest a car to get around. Zoomarine is 5mins away, where you can swim with dolphins. It has a wave pool and beach with lots of water rides. The location is peaceful, so nice to come back to after a days outing.

Fabulous pool and spacious villa

The vllla was clean and tidy on arrival and the pool was amazing but the beds were hard which made sleeping difficult as the air conditioning had seen better days and that also kept us awake at night. The stone garden furniture was cracked in a few places and not fixed to each other which made that rather dangerous and the orange covers on the other chairs had seen better days but the worst thing about the villa is the washing machine has no top to it which is really dangerous if you have children with you. The gardeners and cleaners were friendly and location was so peaceful. This villa needs some money spent on it to get it up to a good standard then it will perfect 👍

Amazing Villa Holiday

Just back from a 2 week stay at this amazing villa. We have been travelling to the area for over 10 years now, and this has to be one of the best villa holiday’s we’ve had. Brian and Ursula are fantastic hosts and always reply to any messages really quickly. The villa is in a fantastic location 5 mins from supermarkets, the beach, Zoo Marine and Algarve shopping. The villa is equipped to a very high standard with a smart TV, large comfortable sofa, dining table and excellent fully equipped kitchen. The master bedroom is huge with a large memory foam bed and beautiful en-suite with an amazing walk in shower. The other bedrooms are equally well furnished and comfortable and share a large family bathroom with shower over bath. The exterior is beautifully maintained with lovely gardens and a fabulous deep heated swimming pool (extra cost but well worth it). The pool was kept at a lovely temperature of 28 degrees which was perfect for my wife’s medical condition and warm enough for our 11 year old to stay in it all day! The pool guy is a lovely friendly chap, as is the maid - they always checked if it was ok for them to carry out their work. Like everything else, the BBQ is right next to the villa making it a short distance to the table. The layout of the villa makes it feel like everything is close by, but you still feel like you’re in a large villa. We would highly recommend this villa and the hosts, we are already looking to book it again for next year as it was amazing.

Very well equipped

The villa is on a large plot that is not overlooked and the kitchen is very well equipped. The bed in the master bedroom took a little bit of getting used to but it was worth it very comfortable.

Sadly not as advertised. Poor communication and issue resolution.

We had high hopes for this beautiful looking villa from the photographs. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. I should have had an inkling after I had to contact the owners for check in details, as this set the trend for poor communication with owners. They were no help over lack of air conditioning in one of the bedrooms, their management company failed to even deliver a fan to help. They took a minimum of 3 days to reply to each request for help and they certainly made no offer of a financial resolution to compensate us for not being able to use one of the bedrooms, which meant all 3 of our kids had to share the smaller bedroom or with us (just what you want on holiday). There is very little storage for guests, most of wardrobes are locked. No essential items for guests such as dishwasher tablets, salt and pepper, oil, cloths to clean with! We stayed in an apartment the week after this stay, also in Portugal and received all of the above, as well as a cool bag and shopping bags, little touches that make holidaying with a family abroad so much easier. We had high hopes for this villa due to previous reviews and we are not hard to please. We were kind and accommodating while we waited for the owners to resolve the air con issue, they did not do this and were sarcastic and unhelpful when we suggested compensation. We are now looking to resolve this dispute through VRBO. I would not recommend this property due to the poor communication of the hosts, expecting their guests to deal with contractors while on their holidays, the complete inaction of their management company and failure to offer any apology, verbal or financial.

Fantástica Propriedade

Esta propriedade tem tudo o que pode desejar para umas férias bem passadas Situada num lugar tranquilo, dispõe de uma área exterior ampla e bem tratada com uma piscina de boas dimensões. Bem equipada (apesar de alguns equipamentos necessitarem de ser substituídos) encontrava-se perfeitamente higienizada. De salientar a simpatia e a pronta resposta do anfitrião. P.S .- Para clientes que gostem de café expresso e curto faltam chávenas adequadas.

Can't fault this accommodation. Quietly situated, clean, well equipped with TV, DVD, CD and everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Handy for the N125 for getting around. Taxis into Albufeira very friendly and not too expensive. Would recommend

1eres vacances familiales en Algarve

EXcellent séjour passé en famille dans cette magnifique propriété, tout confort et très calme. Très bonne communication avec la propriétaire. Seul bémol, les lampes du jardin qui ne fonctionnent pas.... il doit y avoir un problème avec le minuteur. Signalé à la propriétaire et au jardinier donc le problème devrait être résolu pour les futurs occupants. Je recommande vivement cette location!!!!

Wonderful Large Villa

5 of us stayed a week in this lovely, quiet villa. More than ample room inside and out. Fully equipped kitchen, housing all modern appliances you would need which was great to see. Great idea having 2 fridges! One of which we stored cold drinks in. 3 spacious bedrooms- one with on-suite. living room and dining area all with aircon. Kids had lots of fun in the large outdoor pool which can be heated but to be honest there’s no need in the height of summer. Lots of loungers, parasols and the owners also supply pool towels. There’s a large flower garden and grass area all of which is secluded from its neighbours. Other little touches included dvds, board games and books; alas didn’t get to use as having too much fun in the pool! There was also a welcome food pack which was greatly appreciated. The pool man and maid came and did a quick clean and changed the towels during the week. The villa is about 10-minute walk to the nearest restaurants. Great peri peri chicken! And less than 10 minutes’ drive to Algarve shopping which has a large supermarket and shopping complex. We really enjoyed our stay at this gem of a villa and would definitely go back if we get the chance.

I live in Ireland with my wife and three children, we holiday in Casa do Moinho as often as we can, normally about three times a year, we love the area where the villa is, as its so close to the restaurants but very private.

We found Guia to be delightful village with a lot to offer and just knew this was the area for us , whether you're interested in sampling delicious food, exploring beautiful beaches, or enjoying family-friendly attractions, Guia has something for everyone.

Guia is often referred to as the "Chicken Piri Piri Capital" due to its abundance of restaurants specializing in this fiery dish. The restaurants in Guia are known for serving some of the best and most authentic chicken piri piri in Portugal.

Guia is conveniently located near several stunning beaches, including Praia dos Salgados and Praia da Galé Oeste. These beaches offer pristine sands, crystal-clear waters, and a variety of water sports.

Algrave shopping is a large shopping center is located in Guia and offers a wide range of shops, restaurants, and entertainment options. It's a great place to spend a day shopping and dining.

Zoomarine is popular theme park is also located in Guia and offers a variety of marine-themed attractions, including dolphin shows, seal performances, and aquariums. It's a great place for families with children.

In 2006 we took a leap of faith and purchased a charming villa just a short stroll from the charming villa of Guia. Nestled amidst a cul de sac of Quinta dos Alamos, Casa do Moinho has become my sanctuary, a place where time slows down and worries melt away.
From the moment we first laid eyes on it we knew we had found something special. The lush gardens surrounding the villa are a riot of color, with vibrant flowers and fragrant herbs. The swimming pool, sparkling under the Portuguese sun, is the perfect place to cool off on a hot summer day.
Over the years, Casa do Moinho has become more than just a vacation home; it's a place where we have created countless cherished memories. We have hosted unforgettable gatherings with friends and family, celebrated birthdays and anniversaries, but most importantly we have watched our children grow up and simply enjoy the simple pleasures of life.
As I look back on the years, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to own such a special place. Casa do Moinho is not just a building; it's a piece of my heart.
