This is a lovely clean and comfortable cottage right on the beach, the host was very efficient friendly and amenable and we wouldn't hesitate in recommending to others - in fact we have already done so!
Lovely view from property and quite a nice size, 50 feet from sea when tide was in.Gardens were ok, although rear is a steep slope.Front was small but adequate for our needs. Good location for exploring the area. Negatives 1. Having to cart belongings approx 100 meters along pathway to access property - took us 4 loads, although a wheelbarrow made it easier. 2. Other slight negative was having to pay for electricity seperately after holiday, although I understand why. A good positive was TV stopped working on 2nd night - owners sorted this out the next day with a new TV delivered & installed which was very good. Overall a lovely place to stay, it was quite an old property.
A beautiful location and a great well equipped property. Stunning views and lovely beach strolls.Good communication with friendly owners. We will be back !!!!
We have just returned from a lovely weekâs family holiday. Location is amazing regardless of the weather, beautiful views and kids loved exploring in the rock pools and swimming in the sea. Very well equipped holiday home, had everything you could need. Hosts communication was excellent. We have already booked for next year and canât wait!
This was our second stay here and we had another fabulous family holiday. The accommodation has everything you could need and more. With the beach right on your doorstep and amazing scenery, the kids had a ball playing in rock pools and swimming in the sea. We will definitely be back in future.
The bungalow is right on the beach with panoramic views of the sea, we were lucky enough to see dolphins and a couple of seals.
Quite isolated with no local pub or shop in walking distance so if you wanted to go for a drink and something to eat in the evening you would have to drive.
The Caernarfon castle is well worth a visit and good value for money.
We also visited the llanfair slate caverns and Corris mines we found both fascinating and in formative, it was good to learn some of the North Wales history.
Stunning location and views. Great facilities and layout.
A wonderful family holiday with tween age children at this stunning property. The views reminded us of NZ with the mountains meeting the coast. We were at the foot of the mountains in 20/30 minutes drive and then back in time for a paddle before dark. We even went swimming once!
Property is very well laid out with everything you could want. Very peaceful. Would recommend.
You do have a short walk from where you park to the cottage. It only took the four of us 3 trips to unload an awful lot of gear plus food for the week so not a problem at all.
Loved it.
All the family lived staying here. Great to watch the waves and the tides of the sea. A really interesting beach to explore that changed every day too.
It was lovely and peaceful when we visited and we'll placed to visit many of the attractions in North Wales. I'm sure that we will stay again.
It couldnât be nearer that rare thing, a beach left to nature and free from most tourism. With both sand and shingle and plenty of wildlife, including a rare glimpse of dolphins feeding late on a quiet evening. Perfect for a quiet traditional family stay, yet near enough, using fast roads to visit Anglesey
We stayed for 4 nights during the second week in November. Great location. Loved being so close to the beach and listening to the sea.
The bungalow was warm and cosy, although it was particularly mild for time of year, we didnât need the electric heaters, the Economy 7 storage heater did the job just fine.
Well equipped, there was everything we needed for our stay. Very good comms with Caroline and Tony. Would definitely recommend.
This âlittle gemâ offered exactly what it said it would. Wonderful location on the beach in abesutiful cosy house. Need peace and tranquility ? Youbwill find it here .tony and caroline - lovely to deal correspond with . We came home ( reluctantly) fully rested ! Thank you đ€
If I write a favourable review then it may encourage more people to book this wonderful little cottage in paradise (whoops!) and then when I want to return, it will likely be booked. So I wonât tell you how two of the bedrooms and the lounge have stunning views of the sea and most nights we watched amazing sunsets instead of the telly. I wonât tell you the kitchen has every convenience to cook Sunday roasts if necessary so you could stay hold up for weeks. I wonât tell you our little cocker spaniel thought it had died and gone to heaven being able to chase seagulls (safely) all day and every day. Instead I would like you to focus on the negative, the toilet roll holder in the bathroom is very inconveniently placed, it was a real pain in theâŠ..
A lovely location for anyone wanting to get away from it all. Good accommodation, a nice pebble beach (sandy further out). The front of the house is a sun trap in the afternoon and evening, while the rear has sun most of the day thanks to its elevated position. This is good walking country and spectacular scenery right on your doorstep.
We loved staying here for our first family holiday. The location is beautiful, we had lots of fun exploring the beach and playing in the rock pools. The property is clean, spacious and has good sized bedrooms. Waking up and looking at the sea from the bedroom window is really special.
Absolutely wonderful . The bridge you need to cross is like a cattle grid and my dog would not cross it hurt his paws. So every time we had go through some fields . Maybe a suggestion of a bit of ply wood or plank of wood over the bridge for dogs.
We really enjoyed our stay and the location is beautiful. We often holiday in North Wales but never the same place twice. The only thing I can think to suggest that might improve the experience (and I know I'm nit-picking) is a dish washer. I was a bit worried the electricity charge would be high but it wasn't quite ÂŁ30 for the week, which was not bad for a cool October. I would happily recommend the property and the location to others.
We live in Birmingham, England and I was in International Affairs at Birmingham University, where I was employed for twenty years. We have two grown-up sons and three grandchildren and we all visit several times per year. The bungalow has been owned by our family for over 70 years. During that time it has been extensively modernised, whilst retaining some of its original features and character. We never tire of visiting!
It's pretty unique!! Seals, porpoises and dolphins are regular visitors and, quite unexpectedly in August '22, an Orca Killer Whale visited for a couple of days! We do have a short video. Let's hope it returns. It's also great for bird watching and for lovers of nature. Some of our visitors take kayaks (you will see one of our regular visitors in our photos). Added to these benefits, our visitors can fish from the beach and often enjoy eating their catch!)
Our property in North Wales has been inspected and approved for quality and safety by the Welsh Tourist Board. It has wonderful views over the beach and towards the mountains and at the back, there are fields with distant views of Snowdon. Because of the pollution free environment, on a clear night the stars are truly spectacular!
