Idéalement situé sur le bord du parc national Costa Vicentina protégé, à seulement 1 heure de Faro, il fournit une excellente base pour explorer cette magnifique région. Que vous êtes à pied, le golf, le surf ou tout simplement se détendre avec les enfants cette région a quelque chose pour tous. Vous pourrez profiter des installations sur place privées qui comprennent un bar, un restaurant, une piscine spacieuse avec piscine pour les enfants. Une belle plage drapeau bleu est une courte promenade à travers les rues pavées de la jolie village, où vous pourrez déguster les produits et les captures locale à l'un des nombreux restaurants traditionnels. La ville historique de Lagos avec sa ville fortifiée, une marina moderne et bars funky est à seulement 10 minutes en voiture, et le village de Luz est à seulement 5 minutes en voiture. Lovely apartment

We really enjoyed our stay with our two children age 8 and 11. The apartment had everything you could possibly need and the beds were really comfortable. I slept so well. The kids loved the TV area and the balcony was great. The location is ideal an easy 5 minute walk from shops, restaurants and the beach. We would definitely recommend this apartment.

Burgau Break

We had a great break based at the apartment which was a fabulous base to explore the western end of the Algarve with its wild Atlantic beaches. The apartment itself was everything that you might need.

Great place to stay in Burgau!

The apartment is great - big, clean, good location and well decorated. It also has a lot of amenities like cooking utensils, air cond., tv, etc. It is walking distance from the beach and several restaurants, and it is easy to park the car outside. The terrace outside is also amazing. The only negative thing was the double bed mattress which needs to be changed - it is not very comfortable.

Family holiday in Burgau

We had a great week in Burgau with our children (7 & 11), the apartment was clean and very well equipped. The location on the edge of the village is perfect, and easy walk down to the beach and all the restaurants. Recommend going on the Algarve Dolphin Lovers dolphin trip from Burgau beach, it was amazing experience with so many dolphins swimming alongside the boat. The donut seller on the beach is also a top tip, I think we tried most flavours and they were all winners! For supermarkets we found that the Intermarche on the edge of Budens, a short drive away, had everything we needed. We’ve been coming to Burgau for many years and it’s always lovely.

Lovely spacious apartment.

Everything was lovely about this apartment. We loved the sun kissed balcony which has a view of people climbing the mountain. The shower in the en-suite was great, which is always a bonus. All the rooms are spacious and the kitchen has everything you need. The slightest criticism is the bed frame which despite having a comfortable mattress is a bit noisy resulting in a restless nights sleep. The owner is very easy to communicate with and everything went without any issue. Burgau is perfect for us but be aware it has very steep streets. We would highly recommend this apartment.

Enjoyed our time

It was a beautiful holiday in that area and together with all circumstances in and around the appartment. It was calm and clean inside and outside as well. The appartment had everything inside, what is needed to realx, enjoy and having a good time. Kitchen was clean and nothing was missed out. As well the wifi was very good to communicate. The experience with our host and the appartment manager was easy, friendly, helpful and immediate response all the time. Thank you! Short ways to everything you need around: Beach, Shop, Hiking, Restaurants, Parking. Burgau is well placed for many different day trips around the area like Sagres, Lagos and even further to all attractions, beaches and many different panoramic sites around. Thanks for the nice expreience.

Wonderful flat in perfect location

We enjoyed our stay very much, the flat is very nice and well-equipped. It is situated in a very calm area, although the beach is very close (10 min walking maximum) - so just perfect. The pool is the nearby beach club isn´t well maintained, so we wouldn´t recommend going there (especially because they ask you to consume 25€ each to get in). We had a small challenge with the appartment (the fridge wasn´t cooling, although the freezer was) but Joao (who is maintaining the appartment) helped us out very fast by providing a small fridge. The owner of the apartment is very helpful, even though not located there, he is reacting extremely fast and always provided help. We can absolutely recommend spending your holidays there, we had a great time and we would book again.

Großzügige Ferienwohnung

Schöne, saubere und sehr gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung mit allem, was man braucht. Perfekte Lage außerhalb des „Trubels“ von Burgau in einer gepflegten Anlage. Parkplätze vor der Tür an der Straße. Schnell zu Fuß im Ort und am Ortsstrand. Netter Kontakt zum Vermieter, auch der Verwalter vor Ort ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Perfekte Wohnung in Burgau

Die Wohnung ist schön gross und liegt absolut ruhig. Man kann nachts bei offenem Fenster schlafen, nur Zikaden und Vögel sind zu hören. Es fehlt an nichts, die Küche ist auch gut ausgestattet, alles wirkt neu- und hochwertig. Zum schönen Strand ist es nur ein kurzer Spaziergang, mit dem Auto kommt man schnell in umliegende Orte. Wir sind schon viel gereist, so eine tolle Wohnung hatten wir noch nie. Nach einer Woche wurde sogar alles gründlich zwischengereinigt. Einfach perfekt, ganz herzlichen Dank!

Entspannung und Erholung

Wir waren bereits einige Male in Burgau und wurden auch in diesem Jahr nicht enttäuscht. Unsere Unterkunft hielt alles, was sie versprochen hat: Sauber, geräumig und gemütlich. Die Betreuung durch den Agenten war sehr gut. Wir durften sogar früher in die Unterkunft als eigentlich vorgesehen. Wir kommen wieder und können die Unterkunft und Burgau nur weiterempfehlen. Außerdem: Toller Strand und klares Wasser.

Magnificent apartment in a typical quaint village !

The apartment was even more beautiful and comfortable than we expected ! It is very well equipped with all that is needed and was extremely clean. An excellent and prompt communication with João who manages the apartment and provides attentive service, he even came by in person to check that everything was in order. We enjoyed Burgau, a small village with a lovely beach and calmer than other resorts, all the amenities are within walking distance. It was a memorable stay ! We highly recommend Stephen's apartment.

ruhig gelegen, viel Platz, nicht alles in Schuss

Zwar kein Meerblick, aber super ruhig gelegen und angenehme Architektur der Anlage. Die Wohnung hat alles, was man braucht und ist großzügig geschnitten - allerdings ist sie nicht ganz in Schuss. So riecht es in einem Bad und an der Waschmaschine modrig und bis auf das größere Bad schließt keine einzige der Türen in der Wohnung. Gerade bei der Toilette ist das eher ungünstig... Der nahe gelegene Pool des "Nova Beach Club" ist ebenfalls an sich schön und wir haben es genossen dort zu sein, aber auch er ist schon etwas heruntergekommen (Poolplane z.T. eingerissen, Duschen funktionieren nicht, Wasserfall abgestellt, Bewässerungssystem der Palmen schaut nach Baustelle aus). Die 9€ Eintritt (!) für Nicht-Clubmitglieder ist völlig übertrieben, aber zwischen 16:00 und 19:00 ist der Pool kostenlos und auf jeden Fall eine wohltuende Erfrischung.

Erholsamer Urlaub

Wir haben 2 Wochen in Burgau verbracht und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Apartment ist sehr groß und geräumig, die Betten sind bequem, die Klimaanlage funktioniert tiptop. Es ist sehr sauber und gepflegt und nach einer Woche wurden Handtücher und Bettwäsche gewechselt. Kleinere Mängel wurden durch Joao und seiner Frau sofort zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit behoben, die Kommunikation war perfekt. Burgau hat uns sehr gut gefallen und mit dem Mietwagen haben wir die tollen Strände und ein paar Städte erkundet. Alles in allem ein gelungener Urlaub, Wiederkehr nicht ausgeschlossen!

Dias maravilhosos, sem necessidade de usar carro, com praia idílica, piscina grátis a partir das 17h ou com almoço nas instalações, pessoal muito simpático na piscina. Sortido de restaurantes mas com horário de fecho pelas 21h30/22h. Foram uns dias excelentes na Santorini portuguesa!

Great Apartment in a great Location!

We loved the apartment with so much space and the underfloor heating in both bathrooms was really nice. The balkony is very big with a nice view in the sun. The kitchen is very well equiped and you‘ll find everything you need. You can walk to the beach and on this way you wil find a lot of restaurants. We would come back! Thanks for a really great stay :)

Very enjoyable holiday with beautiful weather

The property was very clean and well furnished but on our arrival, there was no sky tv, parasol or hairdryer but all were resolved by Jaoa who was very helpful. A bit of a problem negotiating two flights of stairs with heavy suitcases but altogether a very nice property and would recommend it

Ticks all the boxes

Very nice, well equipped and spacious apartment 5 mins walk from the 'centre' of Burgau. Communal pool 2 mins walk, virtually empty all the time we were there. Bar / restaurant next to the pool. Hired a car for a few days and really enjoyed exploring many of the nearby beaches and villages and also up into the mountains which was well worth the hour or so drive. Burgau is wonderful - tiny little village with stunning beach and very big/strong waves (we didn't go in the sea very often here, we used the nearby Cabanas beach which was a bit calmer. But we spent many house sat in one of the bars watching the surfers and brave swimmers. Good choice of restaurants in and around the town, all very reasonable and all COVID-cautious. The small shops have all you need but we did go to the supermarket in Luz for a few extras. Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short due to quarantine announcement. Friendly and prompt responses from the owner and the agent in resort - very easy to deal with. Would happily go back.
