Nouvellement rénové, Oasis privée!- AC pour les mois d'été!

Ce chalet d'une chambre est la retraite parfaite pour un couple (et petit enfant) pour profiter d'une escapade. Surplombant un acre de collines avec des murs en pierre de l'ßle de Block, ce charmant cottage offre l'intimité et la meilleure observation des étoiles de l'ßle.
Situé à seulement un mile du centre-ville et de Fred Benson Town Beach, il est facile de profiter de tout ce que Block Island a à offrir.
À distance de marche de nombreux sentiers de randonnĂ©e Greenway ainsi que New Harbour fournit une base de dĂ©part pratique pour explorer ce que The Nature Conservancy appelle «Un dernier grand endroit».
Le chalet offre une chambre avec un lit queen size (avec un matelas trÚs confortable), un siÚge d'amour dans le salon avec un canapé-lit (adapté pour un petit enfant). ** Toutes les draps et serviettes (plus les serviettes de plage) sont inclus.
Hightop table qui peut accueillir trois est Ă©galement dans la zone de vie ouverte.
Il y a une salle de bain complÚte avec une grande douche carrelée, ainsi qu'une douche extérieure chaude / froide.
Il y a aussi une terrasse avec un ensemble bistro ainsi qu'un barbecue Ă  gaz pour la cuisine en plein air.
La cuisine comprend un nouveau réfrigérateur, un four / cuisiniÚre, un four micro-ondes, un four grille-pain, une cafetiÚre et une théiÚre. Aussi maintenant, y compris AC pour la saison estivale!
Nous incluons tous les produits ménagers tels que; savon, pellicule de plastique, essuie-tout, etc.

Charming cottage

We had a wonderful stay at this cute cottage on Block Island- our favorite place! The location was great- convenient, quiet and close to everything we love. The cottage itself was very clean, cozy and comfortable, making it easy to relax and feel at home. The owners were very accommodating and responsive, which made the whole experience even better! The only downside was the bathroom had a bit of a damp feel, but it didn’t take away from our enjoyment. We’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a charming relaxing get away!

Perfect!

We loved everything about this house- great size for two people, had everything you could possibly need, beautiful property and perfect location for us! We walked or biked the mile into town every day and enjoyed being equal distance for both Old and New Harbor without being too close to the crowds and noise. The owners are the nicest people you could possibly meet, even left surprises for me and my son-we felt like we were staying with family. So happy we found this place! Would 100% stay here again!

Perfect Cottage on Block Island

We found the cottage better in-person than in photos. The photos on-line don’t do it justice. The cottage was CLEAN and has everything you need! A nice quiet stay away from the hustle and bustle from the harbor. Towels, beach chairs, and a parking space included- what else do you need?! The property owner, Ed, gave us a tour (at our request) of the property and his Lobster Bar(n), telling us a little history of the home. We had a great time, and we’ll definitely be back to stay next year!

Retreat on Block Island

My 5-day retreat in this little cottage was wonderful. I have never stayed in a VRBO rental that was so clean (it seemed that no one had ever stayed there before it was so clean!) and so well stocked. They had everything! The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom towels were cozy. I didn't use the TV but the instructions for how to use it seemed easy. Marti was very helpful and welcoming! I highly recommend.

Awesome visit.

The cottage was beautiful. It was spotlessly clean, cozy and well equipped. It was close to everything without being too close to the in town action. The weather turned bad and the ferries were not running. Marti went out of her way to accommodate us and eased our anxieties about getting home. I can’t say enough about the kindness of our hosts and in spite of some big bumps, what a wonderful trip we had. We can’t wait to return.

Beautiful cottage for 2!

This was the perfect cottage for our weekend getaway! It was clean, quiet and equipped with anything you may need. Marti and Ed greeted us when we arrived, and were fantastic the whole time. It was nice knowing they were just a phone call away (as they have a lot of info on the island). The grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed the fire pit at night too. The pictures are very accurate on the site. I think it was even better in person. We will definitely be returning! Thank you!

Very nice property

We very much enjoyed our Columbus Day weekend here. Ed and Marti are very nice people who add a personal touch to the place. Like the description says everything is included here. Towels, toiletries, even Bock Island masks were provided! Very clean! At most rentals you have to bring everything with you but they have everything you could possibly need provided for you. Highly recommended, we hope to stay again next year!

We had a fantastic stay at Dunne Cottage!! Marti, Ed, and Julia truly have their own little slice of Block Island heaven here. My husband and I stayed for 5 nights; it was a perfect week and retreat away from our day-to-day. The cottage itself is cozy yet spacious, which goes a long way when you have a 6’4” husband! We loved lounging in the main living and dining area in the mornings, evenings, and on rainy days. We generally have a difficult time getting good rest away from home, but slept beautifully at the cottage. The couch, bed, pillows, nightstands, shelving- we unpacked and made ourselves right at home! The outdoor shower was the quintessential New England experience, and the water pressure and temperature were excellent! For coffee and cooking, we had every appliance and piece of kitchenware we needed (even the knives were sharp!), and it made each day seamless. We work remotely and could easily set up at the high top table to work, with a great WiFi connection. For breaks during the day and at night, it was wonderful to be just a mile from town (and grocery store) and also the marinas, where we would with walk or ride our bikes on the idyllic rolling island roads. On a clear evening, we even grabbed the beach chairs and sat up on their hilltop to look at the stars; the views on this property are simply unreal!! It was an absolute delight to meet Julia on our first day, and Marti and Ed before we departed, they are exceptional hosts and we cannot wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Dunne Cottage. It was the perfect spot for a couple’s getaway and very centrally located to all of Block Island’s amenities. The on-site parking was a breeze and when we didn’t want to drive, taxis were easy to acquire. The outdoor shower was lovely and their well-stocked kitchen and on-site propane grill were great for at-home cooking! The owners were so lovely, hospitable and easy to communicate with. On our last day, we met one of the owners, Ed, in person, who couldn’t have been kinder. He even gave us a ride into town after our check-out on Sunday! Thank you for the wonderful stay at Dunne Cottage - we hope to be back!

The sweetest spot on the island!

Location was great, in the middle of everything not a far walk, we even did it with our one year-old. The cottage has everything you would need for a great stay in Block Island. Highly recommend this spot to anyone. Super cozy, comfortable amenities, and our host, Julia Was incredibly nice and accommodating when it came to dropping off our bags early and picking them up before we headed out on the ferry. Some small hiking trails just around the corner and a lovely yard to take in the sights and breathe in some fresh salty air. I would absolutely stay here again if it was available!

Small and very clean. Everything you need is there.biggest drawback was the steep and uneven stairs to get to the unit, otherwise all was good.

Perfect long weekend cottage for two!

Enjoyed staying in quiet area far enough from town with grilled dinners, nightly fires at the picnic table up on the hill out back overlooking scenic rolling hills and stone walls. Kitchen was very well appointed for simple meals, everything was super clean and comfortable, and of course the outdoor shower was the perfect way to end our beach days. Hosts Marti and Ed were super friendly and knowledgeable about the island. Short walk to Ellen’s at the airport for breakfast. Hope to get back next year!
