Captiva villa is a luxurious and spacious single storey villa located in the beautiful gated community of the Emerald Island Resort. The extended south west facing pool, spa and lanai overlooks a beautiful and tranquil conservation area and lake. The Resort, which not only offers great facilities, is also one of the closest to Disney World, giving you the best of both worlds.
Featuring 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms plus an air-conditioned games room the villa can accommodate up to 10 people for a truly magical holiday experience.

Inside, Captiva has nearly 3000 sq ft of air-conditioned space for your and your family to spread out. There are three Master bedroom suites, two with King beds and one with a Queen bed. The other two bedrooms, which share the fourth bathroom, has a Queen bed and the other has 2 twin beds.
Each bedroom has a flat screen TV and there are several DVD players.

In the rest of the villa you will find a large family room and a brilliant air conditioned games room with a pool table, foosball and TV. There is also a breakfast nook and separate dining room.

The fully equipped kitchen boasts all the amenities one could want and is fully stocked with all cutlery, cups, plates and pots and pans. With an island and spacious counter tops the kitchen is perfect for preparing snacks or large meals for the whole family if you choose not to eat out at one of the many local restaurants. The open plan kitchen also features a breakfast table that looks out upon the conservation area, perfect for preparing yourself for a fun day at Disney while watching the sun rise.

Christmas Trip

We spent a week here over Christmas and could not have been happier with the house. Everything was as advertised or better. The communication leading up to the trip and while we were there was very good. House was very clean and very well furnished. We will definitely look to book this property again if we visit again.

Book a great getaway

Our stay here was fabulous! The house was in excellent condition, spotless, larger than anticipated, and fantastic pool and game room! The only issue worth mentioning is that both our cell phone service and internet capacity/connection was poor. The owner and property manager were super friendly and attentive and the issue was resolved for a short time. Bottom line - if you absolutely need internet in the house (for work purposes), you may run into some problems out of the owner’s control. Otherwise, fabulous stay!

I have been notified by my HOA that this was due to some activity outside of the resort which disrupted the internet provision to Emerald Island and neighboring communities. Nice but could use some extra cleaning

House and area was nice and vary spacious but it needs to be cleaned a bit better. Lamps in master had fair amount of dust as well as other furniture on the property. The pool also needs to be cleaned better. All of the corners of the pool had a collection of dirt and bugs and the throughout the whole pool there was bugs floating around, almost like the skimmer wasn’t working at all. Need to trim some of the shrubs and trees in front of the property, with the wet weather you cannot get in or out of the house without getting wet from rubbing against the shrubs. Otherwise great place, with lots of room, we are just a bit picky when it comes to cleanliness.

Thank you for your review. Whilst you say that overall this is a great place to stay the other points were clearly of sufficient importance that you felt need to mention them and all feedback is welcome. This is the first time I have ever had any negative feedback regarding the cleanliness of the villa. Previous reviews from guests have commented on how clean the villa is. However, like you I am also picky and clearly this shouldn’t have been the case. The pool is serviced once a week which is standard for the majority of properties. You will get some tiny bugs coming through the cage mesh especially when it rains which is why the net is available but clearly there was something else not quite right. As with this issue and the others you mentioned if there is anything you are not happy with then the Property Manager is only a call away to resolve them. I really wished that you had contacted the Property Manager or me as I can’t address anything after departure.

Great Rental!

Our family has been visiting Disney and renting in the Emerald Island Resort/Four Corners area for 20 years, so we've seen our fair share of vacation rentals. This home is fantastic! Clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable for our family with plenty of space to spread out! But most of all, the owner was a joy to work with! The entire booking process was so well-organized and Nikki was very friendly and quick to respond to questions. We hope this home will be available when we book our next trip!

Absolutely stunning villa

Me and wife have been coming to Florida for many years and always stayed in villas. This one is up there with the best of them. The neighbourhood is beautiful, friendly and peaceful. The best thing we liked was that the pool deck gets the sun all day. The villa itself is perfectly set out for large groups to all have their own space if required or to enjoy time together. The beds are of the highest standards. Another great feature is the games room which is in the house enjoying air con as opposed to garages where most villas normally have them which isn’t great in the height of summer. The pool is spacious with a jacuzzi add on. Kitchen is modern and well equipped. This villa will satisfy all your requirements. Chris & Claire

Great home

Enjoyed our stay in this well kept home. Only issues we had were the trash cans were full of flies and it took 3 days for us to get a grill that worked properly after paying $75. The property was just as described and the communication from the owner was excellent. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

It was great minus it was a little warm in the house at night while trying to sleep due to thermos

Other than thermostat being set to not go lower than 74 and it getting hot at night it was a great stay at a great house

This was a very large home with space for a large family. We enjoyed all the amenities.

This home is fully stocked for entertainment. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, pool table, Foosball table, board games and multiple TV offers in this home. It was beautiful and spacious for our family of 6. The beds were comfortable and the property was updated and clean. The only issue we came across was not having measuring cups or spoons available in the kitchen. The owner, property manager and housekeepers were all extraordinarily pleasant and accommodating. This was a beautifully relaxing vacating for us!
