This privately located ground floor Gulf View unit was just remodeled with new paint and new luxury vinyl flooring. Well-equipped just steps away from the beach and barbeque grill area.
It has a remodeled open kitchen, 2 partially remodeled bathrooms, 3 televisions (2 smart TV’s with Free Netflix and Cable TV), and a Washer/Dryer in the Unit.
It is a fabulous unit for families with close easy access from its designated parking location. This unit sleeps a Max of 6 guests: 1 king, 2 twins, 1 brand new sleeper sofa.

Great Longboat Stay

Condo is perfect for a longboat key vacation. Has all that you need for a beach day. Gulf view on the back porch is perfect for the evenings. Condo is spacious and has washer and dryer available in unit. Family friendly condo space & perfect for a beach vacation.

Didn’t really understand the placement of furniture would have preferred the table where the TV was and the other furniture in the area where the table had been but overall, it was very nice

Very nice complex and condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Three night stay in unit 101. Accommodations were as pictured. We enjoyed our unit and would select it again. My only disappointment was the lack of sand toys in the unit. We especially enjoyed our lunch at The Dry Dock Grill and carryout key lime pie from Lazy Lobster.

Reviewer Comments: The unit was very clean and well furnished.Sand Cay is a very nice property on a beautiful beach.We had to purchase a dehumidifier as our unit gets very little sun and the bedrooms are always dark and had dampness. Might not bother someone without allergies/asthma.

This was our first time staying at Sand Cay... it was perfect! The location is hard to beat, the pool is lovely, and the walk out to the beach is too easy. As to the specific unit (101), it too was perfect. It had twin beds for our girls and a nice king in the other room. The kitchen is spacious and easy to use. The living areas are nicely finished and comfortable. There is a pass through bar that our girls used most of the time. The nation is nicely secluded to be private but also allow for a super easy walk to and from the beach. We will definitely be staying here again.

Sand Cay Unit 101

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There were several negative issues with the guest bath. The bath faucet needs major repair. The lever to activate the shower head was permanently stuck where water comes out both the shower head and faucet. However if you wanted a bath you’re unable cuz the lever is stuck and unable to fill the tub.The sinks faucets are reversed. Hot water comes out of cold and cold out of hot. The toilet tank lid bangs when sitting down and getting up it doesn’t fit correctly. Outside of the guest bath the rest of the unit was very nice. I would recommend the resort but not unit 101 until issues are repaired.

Reviewer Comments: It was awesome. the place is a great place to stay, everything is clean and is in great shape. big kitchen, nice sizes rooms it feels like home away from home. all you need is your clothes and food. There is a Publix close by if you want to wait to get there and get groceries. but everything else they provide stuff for the kids to play with in the sand. boards for them to play at the beach. towels umbrella seats. like I said you only need your clothes and food. they supply utensils, plates cups pan even if you want to bake they have it. love it this is our second year staying there.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything at Sand Cay was good except room 101 where we stayed. This will be the 3rd review I have written and don’t normally do reviews but this seriously needs to be addressed! The room smelled moldy including all furniture. We bought sheets to place over all the furniture before sitting on it. The beds were the same. They were moldy smelling, uncomfortable and the old comforter and shams were awful even having some blood on one of the shams. The toilet in the guest room would shift every time someone would sit on it or get up from the toilet. The guest room ceiling had about 100 dust ball things hanging from the ceiling? The room was very unclean, small bugs and worms in the master bedroom and bathroom. We have stayed at Sand Cay before in a different unit and it was great. We will not be back again!

From the beginning the communication with the office was fantastic and the contact-less check in was a breeze! Our unit was was very clean and ready for us. The kitchen was VERY well equipped and we took full advantage of that! We had some other family members staying in other units on the property including children and Sand Cay was perfectly family friendly. I will be recommending Sand Cay to friends at home.
