Hi Keith, We appreciate this information. I wish we were aware of the smells on the boat and the rope noises, we would have fixed this immediately for you as we have someone on staff to maintenance. Being on a yacht, the ropes can make noises, we made some changes to accommodate the noise for the future. We appreciate your feedback.

This is extremely disheartening to read as we strive for our guests to have the best stay possible when staying on the Yacht, as you can see from our other reviews. I do wish you had informed me of the smell during your stay as this is something that could have been addressed immediately. As it stands, Fernando (one of your party) informed me that the floor in one of the rooms was damp. I did arrange for someone to come over the next morning to check on it but when I texted Fernando that morning and asked if everything was okay, he told me that it was. At that time, I cancelled the maintenance worker and heard nothing further from you either about a smell or the damp carpet still being an issue. In fact, I did not hear from you again until your day of departure. Our charges for extra guests are clearly listed on VRBO and in all our literature, in addition to being included in the confirmation emails that we send. Upon your day of departure, I requested the payment for the additional guests in your party, to both you and Fernando. I did not receive a response from either of you, and I’m disappointed that you did not feel comfortable reaching out at the time, as I would have been happy to answer any questions. I do want to assure you that I do not have the ability to charge your card for anything unless it’s done through VRBO in accordance to their policy. What this means is that it can only be done for legitimate, pre-determined, and clearly advertised charges. VRBO holds us to a very high standard and it’s simply not possible to circumvent this by adding undisclosed fees or charges. Hope this helps! Wishing you the best in your future travels!
