This apartment is beautiful and centrally located. The views were terrific. We really enjoyed our stay. However, There was also no WiFi and we were not alerted to this before we arrived. They said this was a new problem and they were trying to fix it. Now I read a review that shows this issue existed for at least a month prior to our stay. There was no internet stick when we got there and it took a full day to get it to us. In addition, it only provided 2 days worth of internet. I requested a modest rebate but was rebuffed. This would have been a 5 star rating but not having WIFi is a big deal and the manner we were dealt with was not acceptable

We are very sorry, but we did everything we could. In May we were forced to look for a new internet provider, because the old one has ceased his service. It took a long time, but the switch to TelkomSA was finally made in early July. When our apartment manager Dave came to the apartment on July 18, he noticed. that the wifi did not work. So the Problem was really new in this monent. He phoned TelkomSA on thursday, but was told that they could not attend until the beginning of next week. That's why we decided to get a mobile router with 20 GB data volume. Dave could do that for private reasons only on Friday, for which I hereby apologize. He installed the router early friday afternoon. It is not right that we provide internet for only 2 days. After the departure there was still data volume available! Therefore I can not understand the reproach. I do not find it justified to deduct two stars, especially because the much more important rest of the apartment was very well liked!

Ideal for the stay of a family in Capetown

We have really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It's ideally situated, close to the conference center (walking distance), and the nearest commercial center with all what you may need during the stay is just 2 minutes walk from the apartment. The view on the Table mountain is spectacular from the two bedrooms - nice to wake up with this view ! The kitchen is well equipped. The place is safe (fell quite safe to walk outside, even in the evening). I would definitively come again if I need to visit Capetown again.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in perfekter Lage

Das Gebäude liegt an der Ecke einer stark befahrenen Straße und einer Fußgängerzone. Die Wohnung liegt im 11./12. Stock mit teilweisem Blick auf Tafelberg, Signalhill und Lionshead in idealer Umgebung, um viel zu Fuß zu erreichen. Den Hop-on-Hop-off Bus erreicht man in ca. 7 Minuten. In der Brie Street, wo sich viele Restaurants befinden, ist man ebenfall in wenigen Minuten. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und wirklich sehr gepflegt. Lediglich, wenn man es sehr ruhig beim Schlafen haben will, sollte man Ohropax verwenden. Wir hatten so keinerlei Schlafprobleme, auch, weil die Betten äußerst bequem sind. Zusammenfassend kann man dieses Apartment ohne weiteres empfehlen.

Prima Unterkunft in der Downtown von Kapstadt

Wir haben mit 2 Paaren 5 wunderbare Tage in dieser sehr guten Stadtwohnung verbracht. Nach reibungsloser Wohnungsübergabe waren wir sofort im Geschehen der lebhaften Stadt. Unser Mietwagen stand da schon sicher auf dem Parkplatz der Wohnung mit sicherem Zugang. Nach erstem Blick auf die Strandstreet ging es sofort runter auf die Straße zur großen und bunten Parade des neuen Rugby-Weltmeisters. Die Wohnung ist perfekt eingerichtet, ein Kaffee oder Bier mit einem teilweisen Blick auf den Tafelberg und in das bunte Treiben der Strandstreet haben viel Spaß gemacht. Die Umgebung ist bei Tage sehr sicher, viele Ziele sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Nachts brachte uns das Taxi direkt vor die Haustür des gesicherten Gebäudes. Lebensmittel bekommt man direkt um die Ecke, auch frisches Gebäck zum Frühstück. Gerne empfehlen wir die Wohnung weiter. Udo Schulz

Perfect stay in a beautiful apartment

We loved our stay in your beautiful apartment. Everything was of a high standard and very clean. Very handy in the centre of Cape Town, with a safe spot to park the car. The apartment is lovely, with enough space for 5 of us. The aircon works well which was a good think as it was 30°C. René is a very helpful and kind. We can not confirm that there is no Wifi. We had a fast connection all the time. Thank you, we truly enjoyed it and would like to come again.

I am very sorry, but we did everything we could. The home network that we used for years as DSL-line, was discontinued at short notice. Since then we are waiting daily for our new DSL connection from TelkomSA. Unfortunately they are not very fast. To bridge the gap, we have a USB Internet stick in the apartment, which can be used by our guests.

Great spot with beautiful views

This was very convenient to the conference center - an easy walk. If you don't have a car, you need to take an uber or taxi at night. Walking at night is ill advised. The apartment is great!

5 night city escape

Excellent location in a fabulous flat very central to the best road for restaurants and within walking distance from V&A Waterfront. Great to have parking too as we hired a car for driving down to Hemanus and Cape Point.

Tolles 2stöckiges Appartment in sehr guter Lage

Das sehr wohnlich eingerichtete Appartement ist auf 2 Ebenen in den obersten Stockwerken (11 + 12) aufgeteilt. Auf der 1.Ebene befinden sich die Küche und das Wohnzimmer und Balkon, auf der 2.Ebene sind 2 tolle Schlafzimmer mit Dusche + WC bzw. Bad + WC untergebracht - die Aussicht ist grandios. Beide SZ haben Zugang zu einem weiteren Balkon. Zum Appartment gehören auch 2 Garagenparkplätze im Nachbarhaus mit direktem Zugang zum Wohnhaus. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.Alles hat reibungslos geklappt. Nochmals Vielen Dank an Martina + René. P.S.Alles,was man so braucht ist in nächster Nähe (Touristeninfo, Supermarkt,Taxistand,Restaurants,Cafés,etc.). Die Vermieterin hat auch eine Mappe mit vielen tollen Tipps bereitgestellt.

Lovely flat in central Cape Town

Spent a girls weekend in Cape Town at this lovely 2 story flat. It's located on the 11th floor, a corner unit, so it was very private and quiet (you do hear the street traffic, but it's not bothersome). Building is very secure and felt quite safe during our stay. The flat was very clean, and kitchen well stocked so that you can prepare meals if you like. The only thing it did not have was a coffee plunger, but there is a coffee maker. However, if you need anything from the shop, it's located just around the corner (PnP) - where you can also get ice if you care to make cocktails :) The balcony on the 1st floor is good size, and when it's not windy it is lovely to sit out there. You can see most of Table Mountain from there, as well as Lion's head and Signal Hill (between the other high-rise buildings). Beds are very comfy, plenty of towels and blankets. Air con in the bedrooms - the bedroom with the shower tends to get quite warm late afternoons on sunny days, as the flat is directly under the roof - but the air con worked well enough to combat that. I image in the summer that it would be very hot up there however (we stayed in late March and had 2 warm days around 28). But, being American from Texas, I am accustomed to having centralized air con in homes and hotels - therefore a local would probably not be bothered by the heat as much :) Close to Long Street and Bree Street, which is nice if you fancy a stroll. Driving, we were able to get to Lion's Head in 15 minutes (minus the traffic), Sea Point in 10, and Camp's Bay in 20 minutes. We used Uber - as we did not want to have to deal with parking when going out (which was so easy and they are super quick here in CT) The rates were very reasonable (r60 one way to Sea Point). Just tell them to come to the Sun Hotel for pick-up (which is across the street) since St. George's Mall is a pedestrian zone and hard for the drivers to find. Really enjoyed our stay! Would definitely stay here again.

Familienferien in Kapstadt

Zentrale Lage, hoch über der Innenstadt. Kontakt zur Vermieterin und zur Kontaktperson vor Ort verlief tadellos und zuverlässig. Wohnung war bestens ausgerüstet, leider war der Geschirrspüler defekt. Fahrstuhl war während unserem Aufenthalt außer Betrieb - wir hielten uns mit Treppensteigen fit.

Vielen Dank für die nette Bewertung. Unser Verwalter hat den Geschirrspüler getestet und konnte keinen Fehler feststellen. Es tut mir leid, dass Sie Probleme hatten. Die Fahrstühle werden seit Anfang Oktober komplett ausgetauscht. Dummerweise hat die Firma aus irgendwelchen Gründen alle Fahrstühle schon eine Woche vorher ausgeschaltet.

Man schwebt über der Stadt...

Die Begeisterung der Vorbesucher ist berechtigt: Es ist eine phantastische Unterkunft in zentraler Lage mit atemberaubendem Blick. So zentral, dass man fast alles erlaufen kann, was gemeinhin als "Sehenswürdigkeiten" in Kapstadt gilt. Die Lage im obersten Stockwerk erhöht das Sicherheitsgefühl; man kann von den Balkonen aus das Gefühl bekommen über allem zu schweben. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin ist perfekt, sie hat tolle Ideen und Tipps, die den Aufenthalt bereichern. Sehr komfortabel ist die Möglichkeit den Mietwagen im Haus abzustellen und, ohne das Haus wieder verlassen zu müssen, in die Wohnung kommt. In der Wohnung kann man hervorragend entspannen; Die Ausstattung ermöglicht es auch mal aufwendiger zu Kochen; Die Raumaufteilung ist sehr durchdacht: Man kann sich auch mal zurückziehen. Alles in allem: Sehr empfehlenswert!

Wunderbares Penthouse in Kapstadt

Das Penthouse ist so schön wie beschrieben und liegt sehr zentral. Von dort kann man in Kapstadt alles erkunden. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment sehr wohl gefühlt und würden es bei einem weiteren Besuch sofort wieder mieten. Auch der Kontakt zu dem Vermieter und die gesamte Abwicklung ließ keine Wünsche offen.

Mooie kwaliteitsvolle flat in hart van kaapstad

Mooi, goed uitgerust appartement in het hartje van kaapstad, aan de verkeersvrije voetgangersstraten en vlakbij long street. Touristisch informatiecentrum vlakbij, een supermarkt met een bakkerij vlakbij. Een prive parkeerplaats wat een luxe is als je een huurauto hebt. Goede bedden. ( ook het extra bed in woonkamer) zeer goede douches, vernieuwd interieur. We werden zeer punctueel ontvangen helemaal volgens afspraak. Proper appartement waarvan het keukengedeelte wel nog wat properder had gekund. Zeer ruime uitrusting, zowat alles was aanwezig.

A perfect place to stay in Cape Town

In August we were in Cape Town for 6 days. This was our first trip to Cape Town. When we were looking for apartment we wanted an apartment that was centrally located in Cape Town. Arrived in Cape Town, we confirmed that the apartment was within walking distance to many of the sights in the city. In addition, the apartment has its own parking lot so it was easy to make use of car and travel around the hinterland of Cape Town. We were a family of five and the apartment had everything we could wish for, well equipped and with views of Table Mountain. The pictures and the description of the apartment matches the reality. Would love to come back.

The location was most convenient , within walking distance from the Castle of Good Hope,shops and grocery stores like Pick & Pay. The Waterfront was merely 10 min drive, and we took day visits to Houtbaai, Simonstad and even Bonnievale.I can strongly recommend the appartment ,and will gladly return to it.
