Enjoyable stay in old town Vilnius. Within walking distance of many of the sites and tons of restaurant options. Check in process was more complicated than it should have been, but it worked out.
The location and price are the reason we decided to rent this apartment and those were very good. The apartment itself is interesting... the good - the master bed was comfortable, it was pretty quiet for being in the city center, plenty of room for the 4 of us, washing machine available, ok water pressure. the bad - couches that convert to beds so they slide out while you are sitting on them, less than great kitchen supplies (knives that don't cut bread), floor tiles that are broken and missing pieces, lots of lights everywhere with multiple extension cords (the safety minded person in me was not completely comfortable with this), crazy parking in the courtyard with cars wherever they can find a spot including blocking other cars in. It is not a luxury apartment but the location and price are great so that is why we stayed here and it worked out ok.
We loved staying at this fun, character-filled property. The location is unbeatable for access to shopping and historical sites. The property is spacious, well-appointed, and easy to access. We had a great time!
We had a wonderful stay in Vilnius. The apartment was clean and comfortable for five adults. The location is within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, historical sites and the transit system. We were so happy to be close to St. Anneâs and also hopping a bus/train to visit Trakai Castle. So happy with our stay. Thank you!

apartment has potential but desperately needs repairs
The apartment is located in the heart of Old Town. Itâs spacious & quirky, with a lovely view from the top bed. This apartment should NOT be rented until the ceiling, roof, & other broken items are repaired, as noted by previous reviewers. I reported these problems to VRBO & received a partial refund. I wrote the host the day before arrival because 2 reviewers had mentioned water leaking from the ceiling. She replied that the municipality maintains the roof. âIf there are any problems, we hope there won't be any, the water is only dripping near the window and won't bother you at all.â We arrived in during a downpour. Water dripped from the ceiling & spread across the floor, up to 1 meter from window. Ceiling is damaged from leaking. After many texts & calls to host, a neighbor gave us towels to mop up the water. We put down 5 pots to catch the water (pics). Other issues: (1) electrical wiring looks sketchy (exposed cords & wires); (2) water in main floor toilet kept running (this happened twice & someone had to come fix it); (3) there was no hot water on our 1st morning & 2nd floor shower didnât drain (someone had to come fix these problems); (4) showerhead holder is broken, so showering in 2nd floor bathroom is very awkward. (4) some of the dishes & glasses were not very clean & dishwasher doesnât work great; (5) there are no instructions for anything (e.g., using the washing machine was complicated â even neighbor couldnât figure it out; plumber finally showed us how).
Myself and several friends stayed here for a weekend trip. It's a fun flat, with plenty of space and many things to discover.... We spent a fair amount of time trying to turn off enough of the colourful lights to sleep the first night! Overall it's lovely, very historical and the jacuzzi is great. Location couldn't be better. There was a leak in the ceiling when it rained very heavily but the manager said it was a problem being fixed by the council. Overall really enjoyable
The apartment is extremely spacious and very well decorated and equipped. Itâs a very old building with lots of brick and old timber beams which really adds to the feel of staying in a medieval part of the city. The hosts were extremely kind and helpful and communicated instantly for any questions I had. The place is located just off of Pilies street which is a main hub for visitors to the city and is also directly near the cathedral and presidential palaces with everything in very short walking distance. The area of the apartment is quiet and peaceful and a truly wonderful place to experience Vilnius from. I stayed for a month and it already feels like a second home. I will definitely be returning many times in the future.
When we initially walked into this apartment it looked good. However as the time went on we discovered things that were not right. The kitchen had not been cleaned properly, the fridge should have been changed a long time ago, crockery was dirty so we had to wash things up before we could use them, there was still food in the freezer. The sofa bed my son was going to sleep on just fell apart and it took us ages to sort that out, we ended up having to move the sofabeds around so he could sleep in darker part in the lounge. I took one look at the amazing jacuzzi bath and decided against using it, the pipes were filthy. I messaged the host and they replied it was probably the residue from products that get used by previous customers, it might have been, but it hadn't been cleaned and looked disgusting ( I used a cotton bud to scrape out the filth). So the 4 of us had to use the shower in the middle level, again very old, looks great in the pictures, but the shower head was broken, the water didn't drain away (they gave me a plunger to sort out). The first night we were there there was torrential rain, in the morning we noticed the rain was running down the walls in the lounge, the floor was soaking, I had to get towels to clean it and 2 buckets to catch the rain for the day. They did give me more towels, they said there was an issue with the roof. The location was fantastic, but the apartment is very tired and I just didn't understand all the coloured lights, very unnecessary!
Lage der Wohnung ist hervorragend. Alles in der Wohnung, was man braucht. Ein einziger Verbesserungsvorschlag wĂ€ren Leselampen an den Betten. Vilnius ist eine groĂartige Stadt mit sehr freundlichen Menschen.
Amazing location, amazing apartment, so unique, very cozy. Probably the most unique place I've ever stayed. Brick walls, lots of old times details and the view of Gedimino pilis and Valdovu rumai from the top floor is unreal!
Historical building housing this gem of an apartment, on three levels! Large space for the upmost privacy. Eccentric furnishings, lighting, and design....we just loved the place. Thanks to an artistic owner who made this abode a "one in a million" stay.
