Loved that we found something within 40 minutes of our house in the city that felt like we were in a much more secluded spot. The dome home was perfect for a quick break from reality. Comfortable king bed, recently updated large bathroom, and quiet. We wanted to explore some of the ten acres, but the weather had other ideas. I was pleasantly surprised at how close we were to suburban amenities feeling like we were in the woods.
The communication is easy and fast with the host. The house was a perfect fit for us with our dogs. Super quiet at any time of the day and night. Would highly recommend!
The dome house is in a great location! We felt we were about 20 minutes from anything we wanted to do. Quiet property and a unique architectural experience. Great space for a family to spread out.
However house could have been cleaner (inside or fridge, kitchen sink, shower, needs an interior paint job). But it did have ample amenities (towels, toilet paper, paper towel, pots/pans). Upstairs bedroom needs a rug so the bunk bed doesn't creak on the LVP floor with every movement.
The dome house was a fun and relaxing place to stay! We enjoyed the nearness of things to do in Stillwater and St. Paul. And it was nice to come âhomeâ and enjoy the quiet and solitude with deer, turkeys and bunnies!
property is beautiful, quit, and secluded yet close enough to services if needed. chad was informative and with a no stress check in! we would for sure recommend!
This was one of the most incredible VRBO listings we've ever stayed at!! We needed a location during the Thanksgiving holiday that was close to the town of Woodbury for family visiting purposes as well as close to amenities in the area. Dome sweet dome provided all of this plus an amazing, cozy and relaxing home away from home. The check in process was completely painless and the furnishings were helpful throughout our stay (laundry detergent, dish soap, etc). Highly recommend and hope to stay again!!!
Very unique house that we thoroughly enjoyed. In the country but yet with 10 minutes from anything we needed. Chadâs communication was excellent and will will definitely stay again.
Very peaceful and private setting yet still close to the city. Chad was very friendly and a great communicator. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quite location to decompress.
In addition to the novelty of staying in a dime house, this place sits on a beautiful wooded lot in a neighborhood that makes you feel secluded and far from the city. But, itâs fast and easy to get anywhere in the eastern twin cities area. Great place for a retreat!!
We love this place! We felt safe and comfortable; it was home away from home. The trails and land were fantastic for letting the dogs explore. We were far enough away that it felt remote, yet so close to everything we needed. Looking forward to coming back!
Secluded yet close to all city attractions. Host was very attentive, but not hovering. Hiking trails on property, abundant wildlife. A perfect, relaxing vacation rental!
We traveled to the Twin Cities with our Border Collie and wanted a place that would be enjoyable for her. This was the place. Plenty of room to explore and throw the ball. Secluded and quiet but easy to get anywhere we wanted to go. Everything was clean. The kitchen was nice, we did some baking for a birthday party. We would definitely stay here again.
We came in late on a Thursday night and stayed until Sunday. It was my birthday weekend. We really loved the space and it was just what we needed. Chad communicated via texts and provided all the necessities. We had a lovely time exploring Stillwater and visiting our daughter at UMN. We would totally stay here again. Thank you.đ
The house is in a great location, tucked in the woods and quiet. We had a couple of deer visit in the mornings. The drive get to restaurants was less than 15 min.
The house is well equipped for all your needs. We enjoyed warm afternoons on the deck (with snow still on the ground) and soaked up some sun.
Wanted something special for our son's last spring break of high school. We had a very relaxing time, and our dog enjoyed the property. Luckily she didn't notice the deer wandering by one morning. Really interesting architecture, including the sound quality. You can speak at a normal level and be heard between the main floor and upstairs. Also hiked and visited a nearby dog park. Loved it.
Very cool home from an interesting era of architecture. Was just right for the three of us to use as home base while we were in town visiting family.
Owner kept the driveway and steps cleared of snow, which he didn't have to do. Furnace works well. Strong wifi, and DirecTV. We didn't cook in the kitchen, but there seemed to plenty of pots and pans do so. The area is still covered under feet of snow, so we didn't get to spend any time in the yard or on the huge patio, but looks like it would be a beautiful place in the warm weather months.
There is only 1 bathroom, so keep that in mind if you have more than 2 or 3 people in your party.
