Dear Future Guests, I strive to ensure my guests are comfortable and welcome. For this reason, I offered a complimentary early check-in. I did receive a call from the guest on Thursday, October 31 at 9:32 pm to secure the lock and alarm codes, of which I supplied. However, I did not confirm how “early” was early. Check-in time is 4 pm. I figured it wouldn’t hurt if guests arrive a couple of hours early. I did not expect the guests would arrive at 4:17 am. Most early check-ins are noon at the earliest. I did not allow the guest to check-in at the time for everyone’s safety. A 9 am (7 hour) early check-in was offered. Please note that all fees are clearly laid out in the HomeAway listing. The initial reservation included a total of four guests. However, when the payment was made, a new reservation was also made for a total of two guests. As a courtesy, I called to confirm that the guest count, which indeed was four. The only way to update the reservation was to send you an additional invoice with the respective $25 extra guest fees. I am thankful for the experience and feedback noting that in the guest’s opinion, the stay was 5 Star, minus the confirmation of the check-in time. A handheld hair dryer is now available for future guest’s convenience. I hope you can appreciate the response and I look forward to your future stay!
