Casa Mirage, Fabulous Oceanfront Location à Playa Grande.

Casa Mirage est une charmante et accueillante villa en bord de mer à plusieurs étages fabuleusement située sur la plage de sable blanc immaculée de Playa Grande. Emplacement unique sans chemin à parcourir, route à traverser ou mur végétal bloquant la vue sur l'océan. Cette maison de vacances de style méditerranéen est joliment construite à partir de riches bois durs locaux, le mobilier est contemporain, coloré, confortable, beaucoup personnalisé. Les chambres de niveau supérieur offrent une vue imprenable sur la plage, avec des chambres de niveau inférieur ouvrant sur une cour de jardin animée. Les sols en carreaux de terrazzo coulent dans tout l'intérieur et se répandent à travers les spacieuses vérandas panoramiques sur la plage.

Pour 14 personnes, cet emplacement en bord de mer de 5 chambres / 5 salles de bain offre des vacances parfaites et simples en bord de mer, conçues pour plusieurs couples, amis, familles et groupes.

La «grande plage» de Playa Grande est vraiment l'un des lieux de vacances les plus uniques et préservés du Costa Rica. Situé à seulement une heure de route de l'aéroport de Liberia (LIR), son littoral en forme de croissant de 2 miles de long, d'eaux bleues chaudes et de sable de couleur miel, forme le parc national marin de Las Baulas. Un sanctuaire pour les tortues luth géantes qui nichent.

Nous proposons le surf de luxe «ROLL OUT OF BED», le vélo de plage, l'équitation, la promenade au bord de la mer. Faites un pas dehors: scannez les arbres à la recherche de singes hurleurs, offrez-vous un massage sous les arbres alemendra ou détendez-vous dans un hamac au bord des océans.

This house was amazing! It was clean and had everything we needed. The town was an easy walk and had great restaurants. The whole staff was so helpful and nice. Our favorite was the house dog Morena! We had the best week at Casa Mirage.

Absolutely fantastic! We were a family of 11 and had a great time at this property. Having the beach at the end of our yard was amazing. The house has an amazing staff! Concierge, housekeeper, security and groundskeeper. Every need was covered in such a professional and courteous way.

Our group had an amazing stay! The house is well maintained, perfect location just steps from the ocean and just a gold ride away from many great restaurants! Staff is also great especially Aine, just made us feel very welcome and like we were home. Highly recommend and we are already planning on coming back next year !

Family Vacation

The house is exactly as it appears in the photos. The staff is wonderful - especially Kimberly. Property manager and Kimberly were very responsive to any questions we had during our weeklong stay. The house is located on a very quiet part of the Playa Grande beach, which we loved! It was close to enough to enjoy Tamarindo when we wanted to go shopping or some nightlife. It was truly a wonderful vacation - definitely recommend!

This is the second time I have stayed at this home and it does not disappoint. It has it all. We had Kimberly prepare all of our meals and the food was amazing. Hopefully we will make it back to this house again some day. It works great for a big group or family with kids. Thanks for an amazing vacation.

Thanks for your feedback Therese! Yes, Playa Grande is a spacious two miles of beach with a small, quaint community and a dozen restaurants spread-out. For guests reading this review, the closest restaurants are Las Tortugas and Taco Star about a 5 min walk with Rip Jack Inn, Aguae Pipa and The Burger Spot an additional 5 min. walk. The remaining restaurants are under a 10 min. drive. See Google Maps to determine distance from the beach house. Best Regards Therese, Julie

Lovely Stay in an Amazing Spot

We loved our five nights at Casa Mirage on Playa Grande. The location was unbelievable, the house was beautiful and the staff were lovely. We had Kimberly cook us three meals, and they were all delicious! The house was perfect for our two families and we enjoyed every sunset and evening starry sky. We'd return there in a heartbeat!

We can’t say enough great things about our stay here, it was incredible! Beautiful beach right at the front yard, plung pool to cool down, spacious house for all the family, and loved all the staff that worked at the property as well as Leanne for fantastic communication. Good restaurants and night market down the road but overall a very chill area. Would highly recommend this place.

My family had the most wonderful stay at Casa Mirage! The property was large and secured with several security guards. We had Kimberly shop for groceries and cook 6 meals for us and it was one the best parts of our trip.. enjoying quality meals together. We had surf lessons at the house and massages. You can’t find a more relaxing place to unwind and enjoy nature. Bring cash for additional expenses you add to your stay at the house. Pura Vida!

Magical Vacation in Costa Rica

Everything about this house is perfect. Wonderful space for multiple generations to gather plus quiet bedrooms when sleep is needed. The ladies who take care of the house and cook are the best! We had three generations of family and everyone enjoyed this beautiful location and all of the amenities.

A piece of paradise

The property was perfect! Designed well to be shared by multiple couples or family members. The kitchen is equipped with anything you made need to make coffee, meals, drinks, etc. The ac in the rooms work well and the beds were comfortable. The property was well maintained and we felt safe the whole trip. We would absolutely stay again!

Absolutely perfect

This house is amazing! Plenty of space for our group of 14! The beach is beautiful. Leanna, the house manager was so helpful - always in communication and was there any time we needed anything. Chef Kimberly cooked a wonderful dinner for us and had the kitchen stocked for our arrival. We loved everything about our experience at the Casa Mirage!!

Luxury and Comfort Costa Rican Style

Our group of 3 couples was totally excited and thrilled as we toured our home for the week! As trip planner, my husband and I were given the master bedroom, but all the bedrooms were lovely. We appreciated the staff that was there to ensure our comfort and security. No worries, just beauty and relaxation for the entire week!

Great Place to Stay in Playa Grande

We had a great stay at Casa Mirage. The travel from USA to LIR was easy. Everyone we encountered was so incredibly genuine with their hospitality and kindness. The house was great. The location was awesome. Tamarindo is nearby for hustle and bustle if you want it or just kick back and relax and this beautiful location. Epic surf everyday. Julie was a great host and answered all my questions promptly. We hope to come again soon.

Splendor in Costa Rica

We celebrated 3 graduates on our stay at Casa Mirage. Some were new to Costa Rica so it was fun to introduce them to such a wonderful slice of the world in a house so accommodating. Bedrooms were comfortable, kitchen spacious and efficient and best of all just steps away from the beach. We rented surf and boogie boards for the week. Some of our group took excursions snorkeling, canoeing and visiting a wildlife preserve. Several trips into Tamarindo rounded out the stay. It was lovely and we would not hesitate to stay there again.

Fanatastic Casa and Location

Casa Mirage fit our needs for 10 people really well. The layout was perfect for the old adults and the young adults as far as sleeping arrangements with the bedrooms provided. The only problem we had was the 1st bedroom on the left as you entered the courtyard had a really bad cigarette and smoke odor. We had to air it out and spray it with air freshener every day so the party using it could sleep at night. Other than that it was an enjoyable experience. Thanks Tom Kaley

Hi Tom, wonderful to know you and your group enjoyed your stay in Playa Grande. We would have loved to have had the opportunity to make it more enjoyable for guests in room 1. Per our rental agreement we don't allow smoking and unfortunately it wasn't identified prior to your arrival. We wish we had been notified and given the opportunity to alleviate the issue by changing out filters and utilizing products which remove odors. Please know the reason we staff the villa with a maintenance man and have our own private property manager is to provide our guests with the best stay possible. Thank you for your feedback. Thanks for everything. It was a great trip. We are already talking about coming back next year, maybe in March. Playa Grande has come a long way since we were last there, 2 years ago. We were able to alternate between Kike's, Rip Jack and the Sushi Bar, so we only went into Tamarindo once for dinner. Corynne was a great help. She essentially acts as a concierge and makes things infinitely more enjoyable. Also, the weather was the best of the three times we've been down. The only day it rained in Playa Grande was the day we went to Rincon de la Vieja, where the weather was good.

We are a family of 'water babies' raised on the beach shores of Santa Barbara, CA. (Of course the grand kids also have this ocean gene). Once my children (Julie, J.C, and Mark) became of an age when we could all travel my husband and I would take them during summer vacation on a surf safari to an exotic destination somewhere in the world. This was not only for fun, but to spend quality time with each other and expose them to different cultures and customs.

On a surfing safari to Costa Rica in '91 we instantly fell in love with the country, the kind and hospitable people, and the natural habitat. It was a paradise!! Long story short after returning to the States and raving to family and friends about this oasis a friend said he had the perfect property for our family in Playa Grande.

My husband, Jim, flew down a month later and purchased the property for me as my 50th B-Day present! Over the past 25 years both my family and friends lives have been significantly enhanced by the culture, the natural wonders that surrounds us and the 'Pura Vida' lifestyle. This means Pure Life, an expression of contentment, happiness, and satisfaction with ones life. It's this philosophy that ranks Costa Rica as one of the happiest places in the world!!

Traveling to the end of the road we found Playa Grande, a magical beach where for thousands of years the prehistoric leatherback turtles have come to nest and the ancient Chortega Indians performed ceremonies.

We decided to build a vacation home for our family as it is uniquely located oceanfront, with no path to walk, road to cross, or green wall blocking the view. We enjoy rolling out of bed and surfing out the backyard, scanning the trees for howler monkeys, sea shelling and exploring tide pools and gazing at the brilliant stars.
