La maison a été récemment rénovée et est joliment décorée partout.
Il y a trois chambres (2 Queen, 1 pleine), avec beaucoup d'espace de stockage dans chacune

Cuisine étincelante avec de nouveaux appareils électroménagers
grand salon aéré et salle à manger pour six personnes et plus, vous invitent à la détente ou au divertissement.

Il y a un grill extérieur et la cour est immense! Il y a une véranda carrée de 19 pieds qui est un espace merveilleux, même sous la pluie car elle a un toit solide!
Le garage peut accueillir deux voitures et il y a beaucoup d'espace de stationnement sur l'allée.

Convenient location

The house is well maintained, so are the grounds. There are plenty of rooms for families. The lanai is large enough to accommodate. The garage is prefect addition to park most vehicles. The location is near most tourist attractions and hidden adventures.

Great VRBO!

Very comfortable home, love the screened patio in back. People in mt Dora were so friendly too that we can’t wait to come back and stay at this place!!!!

Beautiful Cottage

I would recommend this to anyone looking to stay in Mt. Dora. Comfortable beds, room to entertain. I can’t say enough good things. I will definitely be staying here again when I am in town.

Thanksgiving in Shell Cottage

We had a wonderful stay, over Thanksgiving break, at Shell Cottage. The location is perfect and the house was adorable. We had everything we needed for our stay. The lanai and gardens are wonderful and the proximity to the walking trail around Lake Gertrude was great. Beautiful sunsets! Would like to stay at Shell Cottage again in the future!

Great location and Very Comfortable

This is the most convenient to our destination Vrbo we've stayed in yet! It was clean, well appointed, located in a nice neighborhood, and filled with everything we needed for a home away from home. The owner quickly responded to all questions. The living areas were nice and spacious. There were plenty of dishes, towels, and the pantry was stocked with things we forgot like honey. Highly recommend this home for a visit to Mt. Dora or the surrounding area.

Charming English Cottage

The cottage was very cute. We felt at home right away. We had everything we needed and then some. Except for coffee, that is. 😉 It was a charming home with lots of character. The gardens were beautiful.

Nice place, bad timing.

The house was clean and well maintained but we were there before, during and after Hurricane Milton. The garden sustained minor damage but the house was fine; however, we lost power for 15 hours and had no TV or Internet for our last few days. The owner kept in touch with us during our stay - we certainly don't blame them for the weather or the electric and cable outages.

Great birthday getaway to Lake County

We were impressed with how well set up, attractive, and comfortable all the different areas of the house were, from the dining and living rooms to the peaceful lanai, and the bedrooms. The kitchen was well stocked. Lynne was very friendly and prompt in responding to questions. The house is in a beautiful and friendly neighborhood, and just a quick walk down to the paved pathway that borders Lake Gertrude.

Perfect in every way!

Location for us was key and this home was perfect! Bonus it was a beautiful, comfortable and newly renovated home. We never expected all the home had to offer: Close to everything! We traveled to many locations and when we came back it felt like home. We enjoyed the lanai which is large and faces the beautiful sunset. We were able to enjoy the quiet feel of a neighborhood and the walking trails were well travelled. It was a wonderful experience one we hope to repeat next year.

Thanksgiving vacation

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home in picturesque Mt Dora. The close proximity to the lake provided beautiful scenery for morning and evening walks. We enjoyed afternoons browsing the unique shops of Mt Dora. The fully stocked kitchen made it easy to fix our favorite family meals and a seafood boil for Thanksgiving!! We enjoyed the lanai and backyard gardens for evening relaxation. This home exceeded all of our expectations.

Welcoming Home

It was a beautiful home located in a great area & conveniently located to everything we needed. The home allowed us to have family over for dinner & be able to comfortably visit. We would definitely stay in this home again. The owners are amazing & the house is stocked with anything you could ask for in case you forgot anything. Wonderful vavcation!!

Very clean property. Had all the furnishings to make it a comfortable and pleasant stay. Beds were not as comfortable , but definitely clean and inviting. I would stay again.

Lovely Atmosphere

This property was clean with lots of nice amenities and located in the cute town of Mount Dora, within walking distance of a very nice lake trail. I highly recommend staying here. And if you stay here, we highly recommend going to Havana 1959, a local Cuban restaurant. Our entire family enjoyed our stay, the host is fantastic!

Great Time, Great Place

Mt. Dora has become a place for us to visit, and we've always wanted to extend our stay. Lynne's house made a perfect stopping over situation as we could, if we wanted, walk into town, but also be in one of Mt. Dora's quaint neighborhoods. It is the best of both worlds. The place was just as described, and we found ourselves comfortable from the get go. And the kitchen was perfect for our Thanksgiving meal!

I have lived in USA for 19 years, coming here to get married to my college sweetheart in 2005. We love our house in Mt Dora and we'd like to share it!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We chose Pinecrest area as it is very quiet, Lake Gertrude is 4 mins walk away and the town is only a 20 minute walk.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Take a lakeside stroll morning and evening and see otters, bald eagles, pileated woodpeckers, a host of birds and even rabbits. A great way to start and end the day. Sit in the lanai and watch the sun set over the water.
The garden is an ongoing project and we are endeavoring to xeriscape it all, so that irrigation is not necessary. We love more flowers and less lawn!! After 9 years it's still ongoing! See the book in the lounge for photos of the transformation.
