Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay here! It was clean, comfortable, and cozy. It had a deceiving amount of space, an outdoor shower, a beautiful kitchen, and a nice screened patio. It is a 3 minute walk to the beach, and at one point, we even fed deer out of our hands in the backyard.

Played games, worked puzzles, walked on the beach. Even enjoyed a night-time Glow Party with the whole family wearing glow sticks while on the beach at low time. Such wonderful memories were made.

The inside was updated and very clean. The only thing that we had noticed was the screened in porch was dirty and the couches were in rough shape. Didn't effect us at all, we didn't use it. But we absolutely will stay here again, had a great time.

November 2023 Stay

Our second stay at Paradise Cove, this time for Shrimp & Grits Festival. The house is so nice, open, roomy, well stocked, comfortable, and the location is fantastic! A great relaxing time to be on the island! Don’t stay here…only because we want it available every time we stay at JI!!

Paradise Cove

Reviewer Comments: We like Paradise Cove because the open-concept plan of the kitchen and great-room/dining area allows us all to be together without feeling crowded. In addition, there is plenty of comfortable seating. The only drawback is the small parking area makes it tricky to position cars to travel in and out of the long driveway. Unfortunately, this year the cable was cancelled on Friday of our stay, leaving us without internet access. Fortunately, my husband had finished the work he needed to do an hour before it was cut off.

Not being able to check in until 4 or even after 4 depending on the housecleaning schedules. Check out is 10 am, I feel like we are losing half a days stay.I understand cleaning the homes should be time consuming if it's done thoroughly, but maybe hire more help. On thr housecleaning everywhere we've stayed the throw rugs aren't removed we always have to wash remove the rugs and clean underneath. Thank you

My husband and I stayed there with our toddler, my parents, and my brother. It was a perfect size and we alll had our own space. We enjoyed the screened in sunroom. We would love to return but we usually bring our small dog to Jekyll and this is a no pets home.

Reviewer Comments: Lovely house with excellent upgrades, especially in the kitchen and bathrooms. Convenient to beach access. Spacious family room. However, the tub in one bathroom does not drain, rendering it unusable. The realtor and owner obviously know this because when the plumber came, he knew which bathroom to go to and knew exactly the problem. This house should be marketed as 2.5 bathrooms, NOT 3....

The home was extremely clean, decorated beautifully, and overall updated/modern. We enjoyed the Jekyll room the most. Deer would come right up to the house, which the kids loved. Beach access was great. The beach was never crowded and almost felt private.We've also noticed the island is finally getting a bit of a night life. Tortuga Jacks was fantastic and the corner pub. Shopping has grown and the market is neat. The turtle rescue center and water park are always a must with the kiddos :)Jekyll Island is our favorite place to be!

Bar none Paradise Cove has been the best rental property we have had on many different levels. We had the privilege of staying here for a six week period in February and March. We would rent it again in a heartbeat if it was to be available to us for the same time period next year. Definitely a 10 in all respects.

February 2016 Stay

We had the pleasure of renting this property for 6 weeks during February and March 2016. We have been winter residents of Jekyll Island for the past 12 years. 3 King Ave. has without a doubt been the best rental property we have had bar none. The owners have recently renovated most of the house and added new furnishings which have greatly added to our comfort. The house is extremely well equipped . Location is great being just a short walk to the beach access. We really can't say enough about our positive experience at 3 King Ave. We would not hesitate to rent this superb vacation home for the same time next winter if it were to be available.

All the beds were comfortable and very clean. The bathrooms, all three, we're clean, worked well, spacious, and the water pressure was great. The tv's were easy to navigate. The experience was the best we have had on the island to date. We have enjoyed all of the homes we have stayed in but this one was exceptional. The management staff is both friendly and professional. The kitchen was very clean, there r two refrigerators and an ice maker. Plenty of cabinet space. Plenty of light coming into every space. The furniture was clean and comfortable, plenty of space for dining, and open space for the family to be together. I can't say enough about this property, it was awesome. We would highly recommend this rental.
