For the most part it was good. A little too small for 4 adults, especially when it comes to eating. 4 nights was about as long of a stay I could do. There was some mold on the bathroom ceiling, and blinds did not go up and down. Location was perfect.
Check-in was simple, I received a message from the host about an hour before arrival with the code for the front door. The interior of the property has been updated. Kitchen is well appointed with most of the essentials, the only thing we didn't find was a cutting board. Mattresses and pillows were very comfortable. A few of the blinds have damage and the bedrooms could use some curtains to block light from nearby houses/businesses. Communication with host was excellent. This house was the perfect size for a long weekend stay with our family of four. Papa Johns is within a block from the house. Grocery store, Target, gas station, NY style pizza place, and more are at shopping center just across main road from this house. Neighborhood seemed safe and quiet. Roughly 10 minute drive to get to the falls, you won't want to walk and you will drive through a heavily industrial area to get there. Be prepared to pay for parking between 10 and 35 for the day. 12-20 minute drive to Canada, if you cross into Canada there is a 6 toll.
We picked this because of the unbelievably great price and access to the Falls. The home was upgraded, clean and everything worked. Kitchen was good, with stove-top, oven, microwave and frig. The parking situation -- in the driveway vs on the street -- was good. There is a grocery store and a Target withing easy walking distance, which was handy. The washing machine and dryer (in the basement) worked well. The venetian blinds are in rough shape, and the bed in the 2nd bedroom was not great. Also, tough access into the home for anyone with mobility issues.
This place was the cutest! Perfect for the 2 of us, but plenty of space for 2 couples or a family of four. Location was excellent--we could walk to the grocery store and lots of shops and restaurants. Away from the touristy area, but close enough to be there in 10 minutes or less. It had everything we needed. The shower pressure was amazing. We will definitely stay there again if we are in the area.
The house was comfortable, well stocked with everything we needed. Close to the falls, restaurants, brewery and groceries. Enjoyed drinking our coffees every morning on the front porch. Nice neighborhood. Will definitely stay again.
Cute place to stay. It was clean and the check in / check out process was informational on what the do. There was always an open line of communication as well with the owners. The area itself was just ok but i feel like Niagara falls, NY area is not very inviting as is. This house though i would recommend!
I was very impressed with everything but the front door, i felt like someone was looking in the door. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay. And not far from my family.
Great place to stay to see Niagara Falls and other attractions in the area. The owners made sure we had what we needed during the stay. The house was clean and perfect for our family of four.
This address was perfectly located. We visited Niagara Falls multiple times (because it's so close), Seneca Casino and the Outlet Stores. Everything was within a 10-15 drive. The hosts were very responsive and respectful. I
Lovely property well placed for sites around Niagara Falls
We stayed for two nights in order to visit Niagara Falls. We really enjoyed our stay - the property was spot on - just as described. Spotlessly clean and comfortable and well placed to visit the area. Interesting neighborhood and we enjoyed sitting out watching people go by in the evening. Ideal; would recommend.
The cottage is located within 15 minutes to Niagara Falls and had a supermarket right across the street. The cottage was very clean and there were no surprises. The kitchen is adequately stocked, but the lighting in the kitchen is a bit dim. The communication with the host Matt was easy. We would definitely recommend the cottage.
We are newlyweds, Matt and Ashleigh. We met at a Nascar race and the rest is history. Ashleigh is from Michigan and Matt is from Western New York. We look forward to having you as our guest!
