We had a great experience here. The villa was super clean and came with everything needed and desired. We had a different experience before at another place in Cape Coral so I know what I am talking about. The property manager and her daughter are super friendly, answered all our questions and gave valuable advice when needed. There was one technical problem: It took us one call and 15 minutes later a company showed up and fixed it within minutes! The lots next to the property are empty which guarantees a quite and relaxing stay. All appliances worked well, we loved the probably new washer and dryer. The garage is a big one and outstandingly clean. The house is located to at a canal full of beautiful water lilies and some cute turtles and fishes. Three well-sized bedrooms, enough closet space, tons of fresh smelling towels and a well-stacked kitchen round up this review. Whenever we are planning to go back to this area, we'd prefer to stay at this property. Thanks to the managers and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!
The house was definitely nice. The only issues we had were the lack of some things which we've always had included with all of the houses we've rented, and the fact that the lack of them wasn't mentioned in the listings. First was the lack of TVs. The master bedroom and living room both had a TV, but the other two bedrooms did not. If we knew that before hand, we would have not rented this house. Everywhere I've ever stayed, between Central America, North America, the Caribbean and Europe, has always had TVs in the bedrooms. Second was the lack of any bedroom furniture to put our clothes in. Just a hanging shoe holder in the closet. Third was the lack of any lamps in the living room area. It was either the bright ceiling lights or kitchen lights to use at night. Lastly was the pool. Yes it is heated, but only by a solar heater. In the cooler winter months, solar just doesn't get the water warm, even in SWFL. I lived there for 14 years, and managed the largest pool and spa company in all of SWFL the entire time, so I know what I'm talking about.
If you don't mind any of that, it's definitely a nice, clean place to call home for a vacation, and we appreciated that.
Only had one issue. Being an avid bbq griller, we planned on grilling often during our stay. Very frustrating running out of gas in the middle of the second time using the grill, not knowing the area and having to search for a place that either refilled them or exchanged them. Besides the inconvenience, we had to pay the refill cost, which is minor, but should be included, supplied and maintained for renters.
The house was perfect, plenty of room for having our family visit. As others have said, the beds were not comfortable, and the sofa was not in good shape. Everything you would need was a very close drive, except the beaches....overall we enjoyed our stay and Pooneh was very nice and on her job
I stayed here for 3 weeks. House was just like the pictures. Pool was clean and refreshing. House was situated in a quiet neighborhood close to retail shops, fort Myers and the coast. Had an excellent time here and would highly recommend it to others.
This was our first time renting from VRBO and it went perfectly. The property was just what we expected from the pictures and the description. Very roomy house, everything we needed was provided. The pool and deck were very enjoyable. We are from Iowa, so we took advantage of the patio for our morning coffee all the way thru the evening sunset in warm, sunny Florida! We recommend it for a winter fix!
The Mariner was a pleasure to walk into upon our arrival. It was spotlessly clean and well appointed with all the amenities we could ask for. Pooneh and Jasmine were readily available for any questions we had and were genuinely happy to help. We made good use of the pool that was very enjoyable and maintained to perfection. The bed in the master is very firm. If you do not prefer that a quick trip to Bed, Bath and Beyond nearly around the corner on Pine Island Road to purchase a "Topper" is a quick, effective fix. Speaking of Pine Island Road... The access to Pine Island from this NW location is fantastic. Make sure you visit Bert's and Bokeelia. Leaving Cape Coral for points north like Punta Gorda could not be easier from here using Burnt Store Road. We had not stayed in NW previously and found Mariner surprisingly well located. Let other folks duke it out in Del Prado Blvd traffic in SW cause there's not need from this lovely NW neighborhood.
House is very nice and with no house on either side or behind it make it a private patio and pool area to hang out. House is very clean and orderly, lots of shopping and restaurants in area . Only complaint are the mattresses are very hard.
We only used one of the three bedrooms but took advantage of the nice kitchen, office space and pool area. Home lacked lighting for reading unless you were outside. Enjoyed our stay and the many places to eat, shop and visit.
