"Take A Chance" (anciennement connu sous le nom de "Coquina") est situé dans la plage et la baie d'hibiscus, un développement à faible densité qui s'étend sur la largeur de st. Joseph crache. Les visiteurs ont accès à la plage du golfe, une piscine communautaire et une jetée de 500 pieds dans st. Baie de Josephs. Il y a aussi un étang d'eau douce juste derrière la maison.

La maison dispose de 2 chambres, chacune avec un lit queen-size, et 2 salles de bain complètes avec baignoire / douche. Les draps et les serviettes sont fournis pour quatre personnes. Il y a un canapé-lit queen size, mais vous devrez apporter vos propres draps pour cela.

La maison a été récemment rénovée par les nouveaux propriétaires. Il y a un parking sous la maison. Une terrasse fait le tour de la maison.

Les locations à la semaine ou moins sur cette propriété doivent être dans la même période de location du dimanche au dimanche. Il y a un minimum de six jours entre le Memorial Day et les semaines de la fête du Travail.

Lovely Stay!

This is our second time staying at this property and we loved it. This trip was Myself, my husband, our two kids and fur baby. The accommodation's were perfect for us. The bay and beach access were great.

Great secluded location

We had a short but sweet visit with Take a Chance. Hurricane Helene kicked us out 3 days early. We did enjoy the beach, pool, and the bay while there. The best part of this place is you get the beautiful beach and bay included. My kids had so much fun fishing on the dock at sunset. We met some very nice people too :)

Although this house could use some TLC, it is priced accordingly and I appreciate the choice of a house that is more affordable.

Beautiful spot

This place has a great porch and great windows to watch the gulf and the bay. If you would like to have a comfortable home base for viewing and exploring the coast, this is your spot! The kitchen is well equipped for someone who loves to cook. We had a wonderful week’s stay here.

Well situated on the Cape, this home was perfect for the two of us. The kitchen had everything we needed and the entire vacation was better than expected. We’ll be back at Take a Chance asap.

Natural getaway

Awesome place to stay

This house was the perfect location for our little getaway. Close to restaurants and stores. The house set up was perfect and provided easy access to a private dock Bayside, and a private pathway to the beach. Check in/out was super easy. The property was very clean and large enough to accommodate us comfortably. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be back!

Unbeatable Private Getaway

This was our second summer spent at Take a Chance and it just doesn’t get any better than this house. If big views, natural beauty, and solitude are what you are after look no further! This is our favorite house on the Cape by far.

Blast!

We loved it, the weather was a little bit unfriendly for fishing that we intended on doing but we managed. The house is very cozy, situated just were we liked close to the State Park and as well nearby stores and restaurants. Very nice home, will definitely stay again. Loved the sights, wildlife is amazing. Like I said it was a Blast! Thanks Vince.

Great rental. Perfect to access the bay and beach. Had to evacuate due to mandatory evacuation and Vince communicated with us throughout. Kitchen could be stocked better but otherwise it was a great place.

wonderful week

We enjoyed our stay at Take a Chance. It was pet friendly so we were able to take our dog with us and the deck had a gate so she could be outside with us without being on a leash. The property was clean and well maintained. There was easy access to the gorgeous beach, which we were able to walk along every day.

Recent stat

Nice little family getaway during COVID 19 times. Mostly private beach area access. Definitely need to be aware of mosquitoes due to man made lagoon area behind the house... they are INTENSE so bring ample spray (DEET recommended). Also, it's nice to see the water from both sides of the house, however unable to hear any of it contrary to what was expected. All together the property fit our needs and it felt like a safe area for our family vacation.

Peaceful Vacation

Take a Chance was a very peaceful and beautiful place to stay. The home is very close to the beach. The community pool is only a few blocks away and the private walkway to the beach. The house was well stocked with towels we needed and cooking utensils needed. We made a fresh shrimp stir fry one night from the shrimp we got in Port St Joe . The home is very close to Port St Joe where there are lots of nice restaurants I recommend the Quatro Locos the White Marlin and the Smokehouse all great food. We saw a lot of Stingrays swimming when we were at the beach. I had one recommendation to cover the front door with a blind or curtain for extra privacy. Thank you Vince for a beautiful place to stay we look forward to returning to the area again. God bless you and your family and team helping you.

Last chance

We were a bit alarmed when we pulled into the driveway, kind of took my heart away having driven from ga! We have never been to Cape San Blas and most likely one time was enough! Huge roaches and big rats as we walked along the path on Hibiscus Drive! Woke up this morning with a huge roach in the kitchen and little ones in the laundry room. Seriously this place could be gorgeous but it is in of some TLC!

Sweet Spot of Cape San Blas

We love coming back to this rental. Having access to the gulf and bay, plus the pool, is awesome! Sunsets are stunning from the house! You can even catch a glimpse of an alligator in the pond behind the house! We went scalloping right off the dock. And if you like to walk, run or bike, Loggerhead Run (8mile paved bike trail) is at the end of your driveway. We had so much fun! Can’t wait to go back!

Serene Getaway with Amazing Views!

Our stay at Take A Chance was nothing short of amazing. The house is situated in a quiet secluded neighborhood with absolutely gorgeous 360-degree views from the wrap around porch. We spent our days scalloping and snorkeling from the shared bay access and fishing on the quiet stretch of beach along Rish Park. The kitchen was well-apportioned and we experienced zero of the refrigerator issues that other reviewers have mentioned. We will be back!

Great location

Our family enjoyed this house. The location was perfect as we enjoy visiting the state park frequently while we are on vacation. There are a couple of suggestions that we have: the rooms need more lighting. The lights are very dim. The bathrooms need exhaust fans. When we would take a warm shower, we had to open the bathroom window and leave the bathroom doors cracked open to keep the bathrooms from completely fogging up. The bottom shelf in the fridge door is broken; found out the hard way when after placing items on the shelf, they all fell to the floor. The house also needs more dishes and a decent grill. It would be great to have screened in area at this house due to the mosquito population because of the pond. Sitting outside was unbareable. There also should be extra linens/blankets in case of sand being on sheets. The televisions were a little aggravating as the living room tv was a smart tv and the bedroom tvs are not. The channels were a bit difficult to navigate. The underneath parking is super tight! I drive a small SUV and would have to back out into the open driveway in order for anyone else to get into the house. The access to the beach and bay are a little deceiving in the pictures online. They are further than portrayed. In July and 90degrees out, it is not a comfortable walk to either.

Perfect spot for our honeymoon!

We had a great week at Take a Chance! We loved having the little walking path right across from the house or having option to walk a little further to the gate access to get to the beach, we also walked to the bay access a couple times. Very accessible house and location! The only thing we would’ve liked, was to have a Keurig coffee maker, we’re big coffee drinkers. The fridge did okay but the freezer had a hard time. We will definitely be back! Loved this place!

Wonderful property in a great location

This is a great property in a great location. Checkin was smooth and everything we needed was there. You can see the gulf from the front and the bay from the back, along with the pond, so the scenery is great. We watched a variety of wildlife operating in that back pond- birds, turtles, alligators. I hope that we have the opportunity to stay here again!

Absolutely Amazing

This was our first time in The Cape. The views from the Beach house were amazing. Every morning we sat on the deck and drank our coffee. I have several food allergies which makes it hard to eat out, the kitchen was well stocked with everything I needed to prepare meals. The beach house was beautiful inside and out. Everyone was so nice there. Beach access if you go through the community pool is easier to get to Beach instead of trail. The bed was comfortable for master bedroom, thats all we used. We got to take our dog and she loved it!! The over all stay was fantastic.
