Very close to the beach and even though we were there for a baseball trip the convenience of location to all of Gulf Shores was amazing! 100% recommend!
Had a wonderful stay at Koastal Kabana. The house was very nice and as advertised. Would definitely book again. Only complaints were the WiFi is on an unsecured network and has a very weak signal. Other than that is was a nice, relaxing stay in a great location
The community is really cute- nice small feel and the grounds are nice. Community pool is small but good enough for the kids. The nearby area seems to be under development, so I assume a lot more houses and condos will be built in the next few years. We walked to downtown gulf shores (~1 mile) and back easily. You are close to everything and right across the street is the public beach access point.
The photos are exactly what you get in this house. The kitchen is one of the better equipped places weâve stayed which is nice. The kitchen faucet is really high and sprays everywhere, even on low, which is the only downfall. There were a few kids plates, bowls and small cups so I those must have been added since the earlier review. The main floor has the living space, a large guest bath with tub and a separate laundry room with extra drink fridge. It would be nice if there were some shelves or hooks to use this room as a pantry or extra storage.
Upstairs has 3 nice sized bedrooms and 3 baths along with the bunks in the hallway. The guest bath up here has a tub and large vanity. The main bedrooms each have an en suite with shower stalls and smaller vanity.
Cleanliness was probably 8/10. I donât think the main floor tile floors have ever been mopped and there wasnât a mop or steamer in the utility closet to do this myself. There was a broom to use and a vacuum left in the upstairs guest closet. I can not stand my feet sticking to the floor or feeling the dirt on the tile and every time I cleaned the floor with a paper towel or lysol wipe, it was black from the floor.
Walmart and Rouses are just up the road, maybe a 10 min drive for grocery shopping. Lots of restaurants to choose from in Gulf Shores or a quick drive to Orange beach. We spent time at the Gulf Shores State park and pier and recommend stopping there as well.
Overall, the space and location canât be beat and we would rent again. The same company has a few other rentals in the complex with different bed situations for other family setups. I did try and contact the rental company with questions about golf carts in GS (not really allowed on most roads) and what beach gear was included (minimal toys in the storage closet- so bring a wagon, chairs, boogie boards) and never got a reply from the mgmt company.
The house decorated just as youâd like a beach house to be. Furniture is comfortable, the main living area is open and spaciousâthis property has a great feel. We had 4 adults and 4 adult sized teenagers with us and there felt like plenty of room.
It was very clean-bathrooms, bedrooms, common areas. We didnât see any of the mold mentioned in the last review.
The beds were easily the most comfortable weâve ever had in a vacation rentalâso much so that we looked to find what kind of mattresses they had.
There is a gas grill in the storage area beneath the house. Some beach toys for small kids too.
Walk to the beach was easy and the pool was small but nice. Despite being Spring Break week, it didnât feel crowded.
Kitchen was well appointed with items for baking and cooking. There is a blender and a Keurig, as well as a regular coffee pot. This one has a nice knife set (sometimes rentals donât) and lots of dishes. If youâre taking young kids, bring some dishes for them, most everything is glass.
Overall we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great week!
Our experience was good the only problem is is there is some mold in the bathroom that got on the towels we brought from home. Other than that it was a great stay.
Our recent family weekend trip was Outstanding! Nice short walk to the Beach.
Finding the carport light was a little tricky and the water sprinkler startled us upon arrival. Since check-in time was 5:00 pm and it was already dark, I would recommend âhaving the light onâ đ for us. This made unloading the vehicles a little challenging đ, Thank GOD for the cell phone đ± light đĄ. But eventually we found it ~Lol. Nonetheless, My Family and I had a Great Stay âșïž. Would have no problem staying here again.
From the moment we walk in the front door this house felt like a home away from home. It was very nicely decorated and had all up to date amenities. The Beach was only a 3 minute walk. We really enjoyed our stay here and we are looking forward to the next.

We had a great stay, it is a very spacious house. Very close to the community pool and across from the beach. Decor was nice and loved that all bathrooms were full baths. Comfortable beds and kids enjoyed the bunk beds. The kitchen was easy to cook in and nice except the sink faucet is placed to high so splashes. Otherwise, great property! Would stay again.
Beautiful house. Well maintained. We had a light bulb out and they came to fix it right away. Short walk to the beach access and short walk to downtown gulf shores. I would definitely stay there again. Just let your older family members know there is one large flight of stairs to get to the door and another large flight of stairs to get to the bedrooms.
Our house was very nice and balcony large as well as the rooms. Very nice property. Only negative was the lack of shampoo, conditioner, trash bags, laundry detergent. We were surprised that we had to drive to store and purchase upon arrival. Th se are basic items that are generally provided in home rentals.
The house was as described in the listing. It was beautiful and very clean. Everything was easy with the emails I received. Check in was even a few hours early which was very nice
