It was a wonderful two days stay at this chalet, itâs a bit away from Quebec City if you want to enjoy the wonderful nature. But close enough to do day activities around here.Love that there is so many things available, at the location itself.
The place is clean, well kept and furnished. Needs an oven though. Also, could have used more soap in the bathroom. Loved the mountain view. Unfortunately, the rain and lack of snow threw a wrench into our skiing plans so being within a couple minutesâ walking distance of the Chouette bar and of an excellent restaurant helped a little.
The one bedroom we were upgraded to was well appointed and comfortable for three people. Kitchen was well stocked and although the appliances were older they worked just fine. The pool and hot tub area are by reservation only, which makes it very quiet and private. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed here for the proximity to mountain biking at Mt St Anne; it was literally a couple minutes drive from our unit and could actually be ridden to on the street in 5 minutes. The only issue I noticed was a lack of numbering on the units themselves, making it a bit challenging to find your unit in the dark. The map the office gives you is a bit rudimentary so it makes it a little challenging. I suggest they put numbers on the doors or next to the doors to allow visitors to quickly find their units in the dark without having to wander the complex.
We had an amazing time staying at the Chalet Montmorency! The owners and staff were fabulous, accommodating, kind, and just great to get to know! We stayed for two weeks and are planning on going back.
The studio at the ski hill is nice and bright and has easy access to the main lift. We did not have a car with us so getting to the pool was a 15-20 min decent walk to the main group of chalets. All the restaurants were closed Mon-Wed at this time of the season so there was nowhere to eat at night (without a car). Luckily we brought some groceries with us. The skiing itself was very nice: no lines, lots of snow, many easy runs for kids/advanced beginners and plenty of challenging blues and blacks.
We stayed in this rental property for 3 nights. The property was as expected. Check-in was a bit confusing as we entered the property address into our GPS, rather than the property managerâs office location (about 3 min down the road). Once we corrected our error all was well and the check-in was smooth. The location easily accommodated our family of 3. The parking and ski locker made life super easy. As did the easy access to the chair lift and magic carpet for our little guy. We would highly recommend this location for a small family looking to enjoy a ski vacation with minimal hassles.
