This was our first time visiting Thousand Island Park (for a wedding in Clayton) and we were not disappointed. The cottage was built in the 1800's and is clean and comfortable. The front porch is the place to be to listen to the sounds of the children at the little playground, watch the American flag flutter at the marina and even watch a wedding at the gazebo. No buildings in front of this cottage to block the views!
We enjoyed talking to the neighbors. My husband and son in law golfed every day. We walked the very short distance to The Wellesley Inn and the ice cream stand. We didn't use the grill or the bicycle but they are available. There is very little vehicular traffic because the residents get around via golf cart or bike. It is the perfect family spot.
Jon is a pleasure to speak with and the pride you hear in his voice about the Kendall cottage is evidenced in the way it is cared for. Excellent customer service.
We rented this cottage for a family wedding and this place worked perfectly! Jon was accessible, friendly and helpful with all of our questions. We have been coming to TI Park for decades and the Kendall cottage was simply fantastic.
