Reviewer Comments: Our only complaint is that the carpeting in the master bedroom was in great need of cleaning. also, when I tried to open the dryer, the plastic handle broke off. I assume that we will not be assessed for that as it was definitely flawed. Other wise, all was very clean and well equipped and loved the newly upholstered furniture in the living room or , maybe it was entirely new furniture!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was very nice, clean and well stocked. There was 2 bikes and beach stuff in a storage locker. The complex is well located mid-island, a close bike ride to the main part of town. The only negatives are: 1) All the mattresses need to be updated, we all had a sore back after sleeping on them some nights. 2) The air conditioning unit is loud, but that can be turned off at night. But other than that the condo was great.

The carpet was dirty throughout the condo, and the kitchen wasn't very well equipped. I love coffee and brought all the items I needed to make coffee every day, but WHEN was the last time that coffee maker was cleaned? Batteries missing from remotes & clock (yeah, a little thing in the big picture of life).However, the staff from Sanibel Holiday were friendly and responsive. I would use their management for a reservation in the future.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property disappointed us in that it was quite worn and not thoroughly/properly cleaned. Furniture dated, worn, and not particularly comfortable. Carpeting was soiled in several places(living room and bedroom.) Screens on the porch had to be cleaned. Food dirt on blinds. Cooking utensils were a mix-motch of pots, pans that were old worn, and not well kept, silverware worn and old as were dishes/glasses. Dishes put in cabinets with food debris caked on them, under the stove top had grease / debris built up. (We were incessantly battling little kitchen bugs in the kitchen.) Staff personnel were nice when we asked for cleaning supplies, bug spray, etc. They offered to assist and promptly made supplies available. Not as much fun when you have to re-clean a unit and combat bugs on vacation. It should be noted the bathrooms were clean and updated nicely. We appreciate clean, and take care of the places we stay in. We understand about bugs and how you must be careful with food, etc. We have stayed on the island 15 or 20 over the years and have not had a unit experience like this one previously. We were not looking for or expecting the Ritz, but for the money we were expecting the main living area and kitchen to be a bit better.

A Beautiful Condo

The kitchen has everything you could possibly need- sharp knives and even a salad spinner. The storage closet has beach chairs , an umbrella, pool toys, a net for shelling and bikes. The bikes could use some maintenance. The floor to ceiling windows overlooking the tropical gardens provide a fantastic view. It’s just a few minute walk to the beach. The other tenants are very friendly. My only complaint is that the cleaners could have done a better job. We booked this condo again. It’s a special place.

We Love Island Beach Club!

We have been staying at Island Beach Club for many years and this unit was just fine. It is not as upgraded as some other units, but it was very clean and amenities were adequate (except the dryer doesn’t work well). We would rent this unit again.

Wonderful Condo

The location was great and the complex is closer to the beach than other places we've rented. Everything was as expected with the rental. We really appreciated having a LOT of plates, glasses, bowls, etc. Typically, my experience with other VRBO properties is like 4 plates and some mismatched glasses. In this condo, we could actually go several days before running the dishwasher. Selection of beach chairs and umbrellas was good. Thank you!

Excellent vacation place

The apartment was very clean, completely equipped, and well located, just a few steps away from the beach. The rent includes a covered parking lot and a storage unit where they have items like 2 bicycles, beach chairs, umbrellas, fishing rods, etc. The building has a nice pool.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Island Beach Club is a cute little community conveniently located to many local places. There is an awesome trail that we took our bikes on almost daily to Bailey's general store to get our morning coffee. Even though our unit was the furthest from the beach, it was close enough so that running back for lunch or drinks was not a problem. The unit itself was clean and spacious. The kitchen could use some updating, and the carpets really need replaced. Two bikes were provided in the storage closet as well as many other miscellaneous items. There were 4 beach chairs in the closet as well, but unfortunately none of them were in good shape. We were lucky enough to find a couple 'discarded' chairs by the beach bridge and those worked well for us for the week.

Great vacation during Covid with my husband. Everything was as described and condo had everything we needed. Pool was clean, short walk to beach with great views of Sunrise and sunsets!! Next stay we want a view of ocean, which this unit doesn't have, but other than that, we'd stay there again!!
