Cette superbe propriété est niché dans l'un des endroits les plus agréables à Teton Village, mais certainement ne pas le commerce de commodité pour les belles vues. Il est facile de skier et skier sur ce lieu, et est entourée par une belle espace extérieur boisé. Pendant les mois d'été, l'accÚs à Grand Teton National Park est à environ un mile, et trÚs proche de certains des meilleurs sentiers de randonnée du parc.

Family ski trip

Fun ski vacation house, convenient to ski lift and close to Teton Village. The 4 bedrooms provides lots of space for whole family. Unit is dated but was as described in listing. Would stay again.

Perfect Spot for a Ski Vacation!

We had an amazing stay this past MLK weekend. Property was perfect, ski in/ ski out, loved the fireplace. Would definitely stay again!

Great location. 2 min walk to the lift and skied right back to the door. Shuttle to the village as well if ever needed. Great set up with ski locker and boot driers Great stay. We will be back.

Parking was tough

The parking situation was tricky. One spot wasn't sufficient for our large group. We understood that there would be limited parking, but in slower months (i.e. not winter), the lot could totally accommodate more spots per unit.

The size was perfect for our two families (9 people total) and was extremely comfortable. The kitchen had what we needed with a nice fridge and the outside grill was huge and really nice. The only drawback at all is that the tv in the living room is quite small, but it worked fine and had Apple TV.

Nice accommodations for a wonderful ski trip

This townhome was clean, well kept and spacious and would accommodate a large party. Each bedroom has its own private bath and there is a nice large dining table to gather around. The ski equipment staging area and boot warmer were a very nice touch! This property is not truly ski in ski out however. You can definitely ski right in if there is enough snow on the road (we had plenty) but you have to walk up to the lift to ski out. Additionally the hot tub and pool are down the street at a different property, not onsite. This was not apparent in the listing.

Overall good with one major flaw

This unit has no working air conditioning which made our sleep very terrible, despite opening windows. The people upstairs couldn’t sleep because it was too hot, and the people downstairs couldn’t sleep because it was too cold. Everything else was great on all accounts, but not sleeping on a trip sure puts a damper on things.

The first and most important is the one parking pass for a condo for 10 people, ten people don't even fit in one vehicle. this situation was very worry-some, there should be two parking passes for such a large condo.I would not recommend this situation to other cliants. The drainage in the first floor bathroom was not draining properly. The pots & pans were very worn and should be replaced.

Great location but condo needs updating.

Wind River condominiums are in a great location, just a short walk to the Moose Creek Quad and right on the shuttle bus line. The unit itself is quite dated and has major plumbing issues. For the price we paid for a 4-day rental, we expected a better unit. The master bathroom sink ran only hot water. We had to let the faucet run for about 4 minutes before we got cold water. The other bathrooms had a toilet that didn't work and a shower head that was only a trickle. (The property manager was responsive when we let them know about the toilet issue and had a plumber come out the next day. The plumber fixed the toilet but not the other plumbing issues). We had 8 people in the unit and there wasn't enough hot water for everyone to shower after a day of skiing. The unit was advertised as being able to convert twin beds to king beds in two of the bedrooms. We expected that the twin beds would be combined into a king using king bedding. This was not the case. The twin beds were made up as twins (with twin sheets) and were simply pushed together. This was not satisfactory. Additionally, the beds were lumpy and uncomfortable. I would not stay here again.

Great Space but needs updating

The space was great for our group but the condo is in serious need of updating. The bathrooms were original to the unit. Very small & dark. The kitchen was well stocked but there was too much stuff. There wasn't anywhere to put food away that you had purchased. Nothing matched either. There were stains on the sofas & carpet. The beds all need to be replaced - none were very comfortable. For the twins put together to form a king there was a major dip in the middle - a mattress topper would remedy that issue. The location was great - just a few minutes walk to the lift. Parking was an issue as well - only 1 spot came with the unit. There was no welcome packet or anything out to let us know the features of the property. We didn't know that you had to make reservations to use the hot tubs - would have been nice to know ahead of time. There was supposed to be a parking permit for the unit - we never found it. They want you to leave your skis in the closet outside the front door but there was no way to secure our skis so they had to come to the second floor deck every day. There was a binder that we eventually found but it was more focused on summer & didn't really provide any useful information. I would not stay there again unless it was updated & had new mattresses.

Summer hiking adventure

We stayed in the house the first week of June. We had previously spent time in Yellowstone and moved to this townhouse to enjoy hiking, biking Grand Teton and the town of Jackson. The house was clean and well stocked. Starter shampoo/conditioner, soap, dish soap, dish washer detergent, tp, paper towels, trash bags, etc. More than enough for four days. There were sufficient pots/pans, dishes, utensils and miscellaneous kitchen wear for everything we cooked, and we cooked almost every day. Previous reviews discussed the outdated look of the bathrooms. True, but they were clean and did not in any way detract from our trip. The main level is very attractive and welcoming. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were nice. We did not use the fireplace, but it was prepared if we wanted to. The only issue we had while there was the television was having trouble connecting to the internet. We may have been technically challenged. They came the same day and fixed it. Also, I had started a short list of things to tell the management that were not criticism, but things they may want to know (no dice in the Yahtzee game, refrigerator rocked, might be nice to have a pen and pad) and they saw it during their visit and fixed/provided them. Very responsive! The only thing you may want to know is that the upstairs bedrooms are very light early in the morning/later in the evening in summer. I am sure that is to capture light in the winter, but for the summer if you like it dark take one of the first floor bedrooms. Also, the parking is for one car only. I guess I read that originally, but as we got close I was a little freaked out as we had three separate cars. We were there after winter and before summer rush as well as mid week, so we called and were able to park in one of the village lots (not the main one) overnight for free, but we were concerned. There is an available overnight lot (Stilson Lot) at the intersection of 22 and 390, 7 miles south. Access to the park is very close, although sadly during our visit the access road was closed for repairs. Ugh! The whole area has extensive bike paths, hiking and rafting locations for summer fun. We were very happy with the house, location and management.

Not walking distance to village

Great spot, very large, 3 stories, couldn’t ski in ski out due to low snow conditions, needed to take shuttles to get to village and base area to ski. Shuttles were a bit unpredictable often 15+ minute wait. Wish we had gotten a rental car.

Everything was fine except we were expecting to watch the Olympics after the slopes closed. Technicians had to come 3 times and eventually jury rigged a cable to the tv. Messed up our schedule for sure and missed 2 days of Olympics

Special slopeside spot

This is the second ski trip I’ve taken to JHMR and we’ve stayed in a Wind River condo both times. Very convenient to the slopes and super spacious for a large group. Really enjoyed the big fireplace!
