Wow. This is a beautiful place to stay with a view of the Indian Creek from the living area & one of the bedrooms. Not jut a box window view, but almost ceiling to floor windows letting you enjoy the whole view. The wildlife is pretty entertaining with a goose reigning the little beach out back and chasing all the other birds away, except for the ducks, they will not leave! Lol. Lots of gorgeous rocks to choose from with a lot of them in heart shapes! The cabin is very clean, cozy & has everything you need. The neighbors are great & very helpful. The creek was up so the fishing was hard, but I didn't give up (or chased off by the goose) and after believing & casting my arm off, I did land one! God bless you for sharing your little haven with us!
We had a wonderful time in Anderson, our family enjoyed a glamorous camping trip/ float trip. The cabin on the water made for a perfect family getaway.
Clean, great neighborhood, the creek outback is so peaceful and full of nature, owners were very nice & responsive. We loved our stay and will definitely return!
The house was clean, the hosts were friendly and considerate and the scenery was beautiful. You can throw a rock into Indian Creak from the back porch! We had a very relaxing time in Anderson. I dont think you will find a nicer place for the price. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home.
Very nice vacation rental in a great location if you are looking to float the river or just relax in the cabin. The property has an amazing view and easy access to the river.
Wonderful host and beautiful cabin on the river - ducks, geese, and birds to watch and can sit by the river and drink your morning coffee!
We had a girls wknd trip to Noel, canoeing, and this cabin is close to be able to do that but also in a quiet neighborhood.
Clean, comfortable beds, and plenty of room for the 5 of us adults.
We had such a relaxing weekend at the Cabin. We spent the daytime by the creek fishing swimming and kayaking and we wrapped up the night by making smores around a campfire. The cabin was very clean and has a beautiful view. We will definitely be back!
We had a church meeting in Neosho to attend. It was in a quiet neighborhood. The host responds quickly to any questions. Bring water shoes to walk in the river if it is warm enough.
We loved the space! It had everything we needed to unplug and relax! We had dinner in a cave, explored Bluff Dwellers cave, did some fishing, made sâmores in a campfire, grilled some steaks, played board games, and watched some great movies on the pullout couch. Next time, weâll stay longer so we can make a couple day trips to table rock area and Branson.
The water pressure was great, the washer and dryer was a bonus, and we didnât have to take up extra packing space by bringing towels, kitchen items, and bedding. We just really loved it!
My daughters and I wanted to float the Elk river and needed somewhere to stay. This was the perfect little place for the three of us! It was in a nice location, beautiful views, quiet neighborhood, had everything we needed, and was reasonably priced. My only, tiny complaint, and I'm even willing to say maybe I'm nitpicking...it could have been a little cleaner. There was some sort of hand or food smears on the microwave and refrigerator, the floor needed to be swept, the bathroom counter could use a wipe down, and there were used tissues in the bedroom waste can. Now, that being said, I'm perfectly capable of using the broom (which I did...a couple of times), and it took me ten seconds to wipe down the microwave and front of the refrigerator after I did the dishes, and maybe five seconds to wipe the bathroom counter. Definitely not a deal breaker, but when we first walked in it was very noticeable. I very much appreciated being able to toss our river stinky things into the washer and dryer after our float rather than having to tote them home with us. And I'm a big fan of the little grocery store just up the hill. Very convenient! All in all, we would stay there again!
We enjoyed the location right on Indian Creek and the 2 swimming holes nature blessed us with right behind the cabin. Perfectly located right off I49 making it very convenient to come and go where we intended as well head back towards home. The owners live across the road and weâre very friendly and helpful during a micro burst storm that popped up. We would definitely stay again.
We had a short guys trip to float on the river. Perfect place to have a base camp. Close to everything and there is a creek literally out the back door. We thoroughly enjoyed this location. We will be back.
Almost everything one needs was there except for K pods for the Keurig. We brought grounds with us not knowing. No biggie.
If your there for more than two days youâll need to bring dish soap for a dishwasher if you plan to use it more than 2-3 times.
Couch was uncomfortable to sit on and could stand an upgrade and then the lack of deck furnishings made sitting outside a little limiting.
I would bring my lawn chairs next time!
The view was awesome and the house is well decorated and a easy access off and on the highway without the noise of it.
ESPN for Monday night football made my man VERY happy!
We loved listening to the trains too!!!
I thought the rental was very nice . It was super close to the water. The grandkids got to swim and fish right behind our Cabin. My son and husband went and caught fish right down rom the Cabin as well. We were very pleased with everything the Cabin offered. It also had a grocery store very close. Overall a wonderful place
Chris & Stacy Lilly were very nice, easy to work with. Cabin was clean. Our granddaughters enjoyed all the adventures / hiking fishing. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended this rental
We completely enjoyed our stay. The cabin was beautiful. We were in town for a wrestling tournament for our son so sundayorning was our time to relax and enjoy. It was an amazing little getaway that is perfect for a couple getaway or a family. Our family enjoyed and appreciate your hospitality. Thank you
A great quiet and relaxing area! Property is not handicap friendly so we wont be able to take some of our family back with us to enjoy đ! We would definitely stay again! Thanks Chris and Stacy!
