Belle une chambre appartement au deuxième étage sur une 3 voitures garage détaché. Très
privé. La cuisine est équipée avec micro-ondes, réfrigérateur / congélateur / machine à glaçons. Gamme et micro-ondes. De nouvelles armoires avec des comptoirs en granit. Utilisez ce que votre base d'opérations à voir et à apprécier tout ce que Leelanau County et de la région de Grand Traverse a à offrir. Grande vélo avec le nouveau sentier du patrimoine à proximité. Visitez fishtown historique à Leland, visiter quelques-uns des grands domaines vinicoles. Charte d'un voyage à pêcher le saumon sur soit Glen Arbor ou Leland. Traverse City est seulement une demi-heure de route et est un paradis pour les gourmets avec des dizaines de restaurants vraiment fines et micro-brasseries. L'appartement donne à la fois grands et petits Glen. Profitez de superbes couchers de soleil sur les dunes à partir de votre propre terrasse privée juste à côté de Glen Lake. Nice getaway place

Wife and I stayed for a week in July. Very well appointed place, with a great location. Nice for 2 people. Bob and Joan were friendly and took care of any issues we had.

Beautiful and Relaxing

The lake is beautiful and there is plenty to do on the property and nearby. The apartment was clean and private and Joan and Bob were wonderful hosts.

Week on Little Glenn Lake

Joan and Bob's property is just as pictured with great access to the lake and private dock. We really enjoyed the included kayaks as well as proximity to hiking, biking and Glenn Arbor. We will stay here again.

Ideal accomodations!

This garage apartment was the perfect place for us! Bob and Joan are so welcoming and have created a renter's dream! The apartment is comfortable and cozy with a gorgeous view of the water. The kitchen is stocked with everything needed to prepare home-cooked meals including our own barbecue. We had our own deck and dock complete with kayaks. We stayed for three weeks and wish it could have been longer! We will definitely be back!

Excellent stay near Glen Arbor

Wonderful hilltop lakefront location on Little Glen. The in-law apartment over the garage was as comfortable and easy to use as you could hope for.

Wonderful!

Perfect for a couple’s retreat! We actually stayed for a full 2 weeks and it was perfect - private, clean, right on the water but still close to lots of dining and other activities! Bob and Joan were excellent and friendly hosts!

Don't stay here because we want it all to ourselves

Really nice for couples! Very well designed and built apartment with nice deck and uniquely sheltered dock landing where we spent much time sitting and enjoying the lake. Centrally-located in the Sleeping Bear and Glen Arbor area. Kitchen is nicely-stocked if you prefer to eat in, or grill. A fine getaway, nice hosts.

Lovely Property

My husband and I enjoyed a week at this lovely property! We have been coming to the Leelanau area for 30+ years. This was our first time staying here and hope to return in the future. Bob and Joan are kind and gracious hosts! The apartment was such a pleasure to stay in. The trees, the water, the location...just beautiful! We did not have the best of weather, but when we did have a break from the rain, we enjoyed a drive thru Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive, a hike to Empire Bluff, sunsets in various beaches, a long bike ride on the Tart Trail, shopping in TC, and trying out a few new restaurants (WREN and Mundos Coffee House, Suttons Bay, Broomstack Kitchen, in Maple City, and Farm Club in TC)! Do try to make it to Moomers Farm for the best ice cream experience, also in TC! It was always a welcome to return from our outings, to a comfortable and pleasant place! ~Deborah G

Wonderful Week

We spent a wonderful week in Bob & Joan’s place, and could not have been happier. Sparkling clean, perfect location, and lots of amenities. Communication with the hosts was great, and as an added bonus, Curley (the dog & co-host) brought us a twig or leaf as a present every day! Can’t wait to return next year.

Very comfortable apartment!

Very cute and well appointed apartment. Owner was available for anything we needed. She was kind enough to mail some things we left behind. Lake worked well for our paddle boards and the pontoon boat we rented.

Return visit did not disappoint

As the title indicates, this was our second stay at the Hawley property. We found it so appealing last Fall that we booked it again this year. It is a perfect spot for two people! You have all the comforts of home and a beautiful view of Glen Lake! Even with rain and cooler temperatures, our visit was a memorable one! We may just have to go for number three next year!

Wonderful Experience

A quiet and relaxing location to stay! The apartment is private (separated from the main house) with it's living room windows offering a beautiful view of Glen Lake. A small private dock is located on the water for the guests, separate from the owner's dock - great for morning coffee by the water! The apartment is kept clean and provides all necessities with the exception of towels/bed linens/toiletries (which the owner notifies you about before visiting so you can prepare). The apartment is in a great location that allows easy access to the local attractions such as Sleeping Bear Dunes, Cherry Republic, and local wineries and restaurants. Bob was easy to communicate with and offered us suggestions for things to do in the area. If you're interested in a relaxing trip near Glen Lake, I highly recommend taking advantage of this beautiful property!

Paradise

Glen Lake views out your windows, comfortable outside patio and seating on the lake's edge. Kayaks beached and ready to paddle to the dunes for a closer look. The apartment provided all we needed to come home make dinner and get a good night sleep. Biking, walking and kyaking trails in all directions. Picturesque Glen Arbor a few miles away.

A great week up north!

We had a great experience at the carriage house! We have stayed in multiple different places in this area, but none have been as nice! The kitchen and bathroom are updated with beautiful countertops and appliances. The bedroom is large as well. There’s a great outdoor sitting area with a view of the lake as well as a private deck/dock on the lake. The owners were wonderful and helpful too. The location is great since it’s on the lake, and Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park and the Heritage Trail are right there. Overall, we had such a wonderful experience and I’d definitely recommend this place as well as want to return again! We joked that it is so perfect that we’d just like to stay there and not leave! Thank you for a fabulous week!!

Wonderful stay!

Such a lovely place. So clean and the property is beautiful, great views of Little Glen and Big Glen. Loved the space down by the water and watching sunsets. We brought our boat and the launch is just down the road and it was great to be able to keep our boat in the water too. So many places to explore close by... hiking, biking, wineries, beaches, great food. And it was great to have laundry in the unit as well! Wonderful place to stay!

Perfect getaway

Great apartment on a waterfront property on Little Glen Lake. Bob & Joan were great at check-in. The apartment is very comfortable, everything provided (except sheets & towels). Loved having our own private waterfront deck and dock with kayaks for our use. We will be back! Thank you!

Beautiful place!

I made a huge mistake with booking (wrong dates). Bob was understanding and able to accommodate us. We were sooo thankful for that! This couples retreat was beautiful and nicely decorated. The views were beautiful. If you decide to stay here, you most definitely will not be disappointed!

Attractive apartment with large windows and great lake view

Bob and Joan have done a good job of creating an attractive space that maximizes the view of Glen Lake. It’s a great place to relax or to use as a home base for outings to nearby Sleeping Bear Dunes, Traverse City and communities on the Leelanau Peninsula. Bob and Joan have lived on the property for quite awhile and can provide a great deal of information about the area. A highlight for us was enjoying morning coffee on the small deck right at the water’s edge. Although we didn’t use it, there is another lovely deck space right by the entrance that provides a good lake view also. We definitely will consider a return trip to this unique property.

Simply Stunning and Clean

This apartment is beautiful, new, and extremely clean. Plus it has private decks, and a dock separate from the main house with a gas grill. Bob and his wife are very welcoming and are more than happy to answer any questions about the area (where to eat, etc.). We were only able to escape to this place for a few days but we plan on returning. It’s the perfect size for a couple’s retreat and the heated floor in the bathroom is a huge bonus with the chilly mornings. Glen Lake is crystal clear and stunning. We can’t wait to go back!

Comfy couples retreat

My husband and I enjoyed a long weekend in this comfortable one bedroom apartment. The apartment was immaculate and well appointed. It has a light and airy décor which is enhanced by the beautiful views out the numerous windows. The property is conveniently located a short drive from restaurants, shops and Sleeping Bear Dunes. The lakes are crystal clear and perfect for kayaking. We enjoyed the private decks and watched the sunset and stars on numerous evenings. Our host Joan and Bob were warm and welcoming. The happily answered any of our questions and made wonderful suggestions about area dinning. We hope to visit this property again in the future.
