Vous vous sentirez comme un capitaine de la marine à la proue de votre propre navire! Respirez le doux air frais de l'océan. Permettez-vous d'être apaisé par les chaudes brises tropicales et les doux rythmes du surf ci-dessous. Votre rêve est sur le point de devenir réalité…

Perfect relaxing week

This was our first trip to Eleuthera and we had an awesome time especially staying at this property! We felt like we were on the island by ourselves with our own private beach the majority of the time. The house was beautiful and the location was great centrally located. We had everything we needed and more.

Beautiful Location

The Dream House is stunning! The entire house gives you the entire beach vibes feeling. We traveled with 2 other couples and had a beautiful time. The beach had a beautiful pink tint that was breathtaking. You do have to hike down a hill and some stairs to get to the beach but it’s not too bad. They provide you with plastic beach chairs for you to sit in. There are enough spots for shade if you don’t like too much fun. The last few days we did experience a lot of garage on the beach that was washed up during high tide. The pool was small but functional. We paid to have the pool heated and it only worked 2 hog our seven days. We had to call several times to get it looked at but not sure it really got fixed. The deck with the ocean view is stunning. Pictures don’t do it justice. Both umbrellas at the tables on the deck unfortunately were broken and didn’t open. There were some loose deck panels and one loose glass panel. The inside of the house does need some updates. The handle to the freezer door fell off immediately the first time we used it. A few of the cabinets didn’t shut and were peeling. The master bathroom fan as well as the basement fan did not turn on & the master bathroom made a loud and annoying screaming sound every time you showered. We were also unable to connect to the sound system in the house. Overall I would recommend the dream house. It’s a beautiful place to vacation with family and friends. The drive into town isn’t too far either.

Wonderful Property!

We just stayed for 11 days this month. The house is perfect--with the pool and direct access to an awesome beach! Tennielle and crew were wonderful in assisting with any issues (oven and televisions needed reset). The house was well appointed with everything we needed. As mentioned in previous reviews, the road (or path) leading up to the house from Banks Road is challenging, so a Jeep or SUV is helpful. Also, the trek down to and up from the beach could be difficult for some but is definitely doable (water shoes would be helpful). Have nothing negative to say--all was exceptional!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been renting along Banks Road in Gov Harbour about twice a year for nearly 8 years. We've rented many great homes and love the island and location.Dream House is now one of our favorite rentals of all time. The rental is superb, with a fantastic property manager (Tennille) who is very accessible and well connected.-Advantages of the home relative to other properties: Home interior and exterior are wonderful, and modern. The view is nearly unmatched - just spectacular. Pool is clean and in a great location for the home. Amenities in the home are excellent and suitable for couples or a family of all ages.-Items to consider, we really had zero criticisms of the entire experience: an auto is required. Any vehicle can navigate the access road, but less experienced drivers may prefer an SUV of any size. The road is bumpy, but relatively short, and further creates a nice private setting removed from the road. Auto rentals are required of any home rental on Eleuthera, really. Kean Stubbs is someone we've used for years - very reliable and accessible. -The path from the beach to the home is not ideal for elderly or physically challenged individuals. The path is not overly difficult and not really dissimilar from many staircases that are typical for beach access from these homes. A few homes have a flat, short access and would be more appropriate for older or those needing a flatter/simpler access. In summary, this is a fantastic rental on Banks Road with a very desirable location, an exceptional property and views. 5 stars all around!

The location was great for exploring up and down the coast. One of my favorite VRBO rentals and excellent communication booking as well as with the property manager. We would definitely stay here again!

Treated to a great lasagna dinner for the first night. Would definitely recommend the house with a few caveats: the road to house from Banks road is basically a two track and recommend a SUV to get there. Also the path from the house to the beach is not a simple trek - it's steeper and longer than expected, it would be difficult for seniors or anyone with walking difficulties.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Dream HouseWe have been traveling to the Bahama out islands for more than 30 years by private plane. Eleuthera being one of our favorite islands and Governor’s Harbor one of the best place to stay without all the hassle of commercial aviation (or use to be anyway). We recently rented a beautiful home in the Harbour with spectacular views. However, what should have been a 5 Star Review was at best a 3.The home itself is beautiful, * BUT * 1. The coffee maker described as grid and brew was NOT a grinder.2. None of the TV’s worked in the entire house the entire week. (missed the Super Bowl).3. The grout on the pool is breaking off everywhere and falling into the pool4. The oven did not work (maintenance man came after 3 days)5. Lots of burned out lights in the home no replacement bulbs.6. The outside grill is worn out and rusted, will not heat up and needs replaced. 7. Outside deck tables are rusted, needs painted and cleaned .8. Very few kitchen supplies but ample dishes, utensils, pot and pans.9. Sign says rise off before using pool * pvc shower pipes are broken so the shower sprays water in every direction. However, the house manager went above and beyond to try and fix things. She even brought us her personal Firestick for the TV’s but nothing worked. Another friend she had tried to get TV’s to function but nope, nothing helped. *** This home could be quite special but the complete lack of upkeep by the owner is beyond disappointing for what they charge. This has been one of the most stressful and frustrating rentals ever from VRBO. “I will be asking for a partial refund because of the poor condition (NO TV) and obvious inaccuracies on the description of the house.”

Dream Vacation

The beach was beautiful and we were able to hang in the ocean every day and use the pool as well. There was a dinner provided on arrival day which was amazing after a long day of traveling. We used grocery delivery and the house manager had everything put away when we arrived. We would certainly stay here again and recommend. This home was more than we could have dreamed of for our trip!

It was immaculate when we arrived, and that had made us a Lasanga so we didn’t have to worry about dinner after a long day of travel. We spent one calm day snorkeling right off of our beach, and there were so many fish!! The view was amazing as well, and the pool refreshing after a long hot day on the beach. We will definitely be staying here again.

Solid, but not perfect

Reviewer Comments: Maybe I’m being a little critical because apparently most others rated this property perfect, but I will attempt to give an honest review. The pros: Pam, the management team, the view, the beach access, and the location are all excellent. Anytime we had a question the team was professional and extremely fast to respond. We enjoyed the view and beach all week. The cons: the property needs some attention. The walls/baseboards have been marked up in a lot of spots, several cracked floor tiles, kitchen cabinets with obvious cracks, pool tiles are in terrible condition, patio furniture is worn (far from luxury as described), upstairs patio table is broken underneath, and several bath towels with brown stains. People are hard on rentals and we completely understand, but to say this property is a perfect five stars is a stretch. We would still recommend the property as non of the cons are deal breakers and the view/location/overall cleanliness are solid. Overall, we had a great week, but were some what let down by the condition of the home.

The view of the beach and ocean from the deck is incredible. When I sent the pictures to friends they thought they were fake because via is that stunning. The house is perfectly maintained and having Tennille to assist was great. The lasagna was so nice to have for dinner on our first night after a long day of travel that started early in the morning. The kitchen in the house was stocked with everything we needed to cook some great meals and we found a couple of farmer's markets close by that had a nice assortment of fruits, vegetables and seafood to cook. We found the best places to eat were Tippy's and La Bougainvillea. The house was the perfect mix of adventure and luxury. I highly recommend a stay at the Dream House.
