Glasgow West End : locations de vacances

This was our first travel in UK and the week dedicated to Glasgow was most enjoyable in this spacious and quiet flat with « vintage » furniture that changes it little bit , for those who like, of modern interiors a bit interchangeable that can be seen on Homelidays/Airbnb websites. The neighbourhood is very calm and even luxurious with beautiful architecture perfectly homogeneous of sand-stone in all surrounding streets. The top floor flat delivers clear vews on a park and in the distance the hills arounds Glasgow but it must be earned !! The climb requires sharpened calves. Kitchen is very complete in ustensils of all kind, particularly a competition gas cooking stove where we could cook excellent local products , salmon pigeons, meat from James Allan, seafood from Fish Plaice and so on ...almost three persons can easily take meals in the kitchen. Journeys : Subway station is 15-20 mn on foot in a commercial area with student bars. An to get city-center there is Hyndland Station at 10 mn. We rented a car for a few days and no problem to park within 100 yds Very good welcome by Margaret with much detailed informations and also from other users of the building : Lorna meet us on our arrival and tell us about Doors Open Days in Glasgow and she came again to our flat to bring us the corresponding documents.
