Casa Serena est perchée sur une colline dans les vignobles près de Milan ainsi que de Turin ("Turin"). C'est une combinaison invitante de décor italien classique avec une touche de plaisir rétro. La terrasse est un cadre serein pour le petit déjeuner ou un vin en soirée, et chaque chambre a son propre balcon parfait pour votre café du matin. Nous aimons avoir des visiteurs du monde entier pour profiter d'un peu de «la dolce vita». Si vous êtes un voyageur chevronné ou un nouveau venu en Europe, nous ferons tout notre possible pour rendre votre séjour dans notre coin d'Italie merveilleux.

L'hospitalité est notre priorité, dans le cadre de votre séjour chez nous, nous vous fournirons le petit déjeuner chaque matin ainsi qu'un verre de vin local le soir. Les célébrations et les demandes spéciales sont nos préférées, n'hésitez pas à demander. Casa Serena offre le bon équilibre entre confidentialité et service. Un hôte sera en bas et vous fournira le petit déjeuner, répondra aux demandes spéciales et répondra aux questions sur la région ... donc pas de soucis.

En plus des deux grandes chambres élégamment meublées comprenant chacune un balcon privé, nous avons une petite chambre avec un lit double pour un enfant / simple. De plus, vous êtes également invités à profiter du grand salon («salotto») qui s'ouvre sur la terrasse pour lire un livre, admirer la vue ou peut-être assembler un puzzle.

Solonghello est un petit village niché sur une colline capitalisant sur une vue magnifique et possède son propre château. Il y a des boulangeries, des cafés et des restaurants disséminés dans la région de Monferrato qui ne demandent qu'à être explorés. Si vous souhaitez rester dans une soirée, nous pouvons également offrir un dîner italien directement à la villa.

Lovely place, calm area, great view

The house is wonderful, decorated in a classy 60 style. It has the best terrace with a wonderful view. We were warmly welcomed by the owner who made us a fresh breakfast each morning. She has loads of knowledge of the surrounding as well for close by as for inspiring day trips. Great place for a group of friends /family (5p), 2 couples or just the 2 of you. The house is yours if you are only 2. Which is a luxurious advantage of this place. Not to forget, you can cook your own meal in the kitchen. We highly recommend this place and its lovely hostess LaCinda.

A Perfect Countryside EscapeOur stay was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The sweeping views of the surrounding countryside were breathtaking—especially at sunset with a glass of the complimentary local wine in hand. Each morning began with an elegant egg-and-toast breakfast accompanied by a coffee and cheese plate, olives, homemade jellies, and fresh juices—an unforgettable start to the day.Upon arrival, we were greeted with a thoughtfully prepared trip planner highlighting wineries, local restaurants, and hidden gems. Our host even secured reservations at several fantastic eateries—one in particular offered the most amazing food, and we’d never have gotten in without their local connections.The home itself is spacious and full of character. Large, comfortable bedrooms and a cozy kitchen with a charming color palette made us feel instantly at home. The expansive living room, furnished with antique Italian pieces and a grand dining table, was perfect for relaxing evenings. We loved selecting CDs from the host’s collection and playing music through the house sound system—it set the perfect mood.Multiple indoor and outdoor sitting areas offered ideal spots to unwind, whether for a morning coffee or a sunset wine. The attention to detail throughout was impressive: the delicate lace and long drapes on every window added a soft, elegant touch to each room.The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and every corner of the property felt carefully curated and inviting

Perfect Ending for a Three week Trip.

This was our final stop in the Piedmont area after 3 weeks of touring different areas and wineries. We stayed 4 nights. The property is perfect for relaxing and overlooks the hills and countryside. There are a number of small towns within a short drive and LaCinda provided lots of ideas for day trips and recommendations for dinner. Breakfast was different every day and she even got up early to prepare it for us. The house is lovely and fully of antiques. Perfect for relaxing on the front porch and enjoying the views. We even saw a rainbow after a shower one of our days. This was our most enjoyable stay for our trip and LaCinda was an excellent host.

Highly recommended!! Don't think that your experience will be mediocre based on the price! THIS WAS A GEM!!!! The view was spectacular, the location was reached by car, not a problem! The host was so amazing❤ Her home was exactly what you see in the photos! Breakfast was Amercian style...and in the evening we had wine..Italian style! Lacinda was a warm host, like going to visit a family member. She offered us many suggestions to visit which she has complied in a binder.

Beautiful Italian getaway!

Where do I start? LaCinda is by far the most gracious host I have ever experienced. That alone should tell you this is a place to stay! The location of the home is nestled in the quietest neighborhood in northern Italy! LaCinda makes sure that your days are full of fun and adventure based on her extensive knowledge and travel of the local area. Just a walk outside her door is wonderful, picturesque and challenging with all the hills (very, very steep hills!!). We only budgeted 2 nights with LaCinda-much too short. I would say a minimum of 4-5 nights to enjoy the region, small villages and all the recommendations LaCinda has to offer. Even then, it won’t be enough. Thank you LaCinda for hosting my family and I. We enjoyed your home, the delicious food and of course, your amazing hospitality. We will be back and encourage others to enjoy your beautiful home! XO Veronica

Exquisite Home and Amazing Host

Casa Serena was beyond perfection. You could see the attention to detail throughout the house both in the beauty and in the comfort. Both bedrooms are thoughtfully laid out and the beds are divine (one of the best night's sleep I've had in a while!). Amenities are great too-hair dryer in the bathroom, extra toiletries, snacks/coffee/Italian breakfast, stereo with Bluetooth connection for your music, plenty of storage in the rooms to unpack your bags. The peace of sitting on the terrace was truly one of my favorite memories of my stay there, the view is stunning. Part of what made Casa Serena so special was LaCinda. She provided thoughtful suggestions for me and my friend. I'm a chef by trade and my friend has Celiac's so we were very particular in our desires and LaCinda managed to give incredible ideas across the board. The local restaurants she recommended were amazing, the wineries were great, and the bakery....oh my goodness, I would love one of their strawberry tarts right about now! She managed to balance all of that with our desire for a quiet afternoon and we got to enjoy the peace of Solonghello uninterrupted. A couple of things to note. You will definitely need a car. Public transportation was a once a day bus to the village which is out in the countryside. As long as you have a car though, it was easy to navigate the area and to get to all the local attractions. Wifi is not meant for streaming, just a quick email check here and there to stay in touch. But to be honest, it was so nice to disconnect. Overall, this is one of my favorite places I've visited in Europe. The combination of Casa Serena, Solonghello, and a lovely host was truly a gift and I cherish it.

My husband and I and our best friends stayed at Casa Serena at the end of May. On a scale of 1-5, we would give Casa Serena a 10! It is everything described in this listing…and More! The House: The photos of Casa Serena are accurate, however cannot adequately convey the feeling of careful design and attention put into every room. The beautiful antique Italian furniture gives you a feel of elegance. As for cleanliness, the place is spotless! Towels are plentiful and the views from all the room balconies and the patio don’t quit. Plus, the kitchen is available for your own use which we conveniently took advantage of on a couple of occasions during our stay. The Hostess: LaCinda is an absolute angel of a hostess. She lives on the lower level and prepares a different and delicious breakfast daily. LaCinda is also a huge help at planning each day’s activities which include visits to surrounding towns and hikes, dining, and wine tastings. All her recommendations proved to be fantastic. Her connections in the area opened doors otherwise not a available to the average tourist. Then, every afternoon a bottle of local wine welcomes the return from your day’s outing. LaCinda was always available for our needs and questions, but was never intrusive into our privacy. Also, I had mentioned to LaCinda that I have celiac disease and am restricted to a gluten free diet. She did a fantastic job of accommodating my gluten free needs at breakfast and went out of her way searching out restaurants with gf menu items, as well. It’s seldom that a vacation rental host puts this much time into these types of amenities for their guests. The Location: The beauty of the area is astounding. Rolling hills of vineyards and wheat are dotted with ancient hilltop towns and castles. Neighboring towns offer many opportunities for scenic strolling, hiking and local dining. LaCinda’s “Things to do” book is packed with good ideas to fill your day. Oh,pplsure to ask about the Big Red Benches for a fun thing to do. You like good wine? There are fantastic wine tastings near and far & the local Barbera (both bottled and sfuso) is the BEST. Plus…LaCinda’s patio is truly a piece of heaven with its views, cool breezes, wind chimes, and chirping birds. Would we return to Casa Serena? Yes! Honestly, we so much wish we didn’t even have to leave.

Villa Serena : Excellent

Nous avions hésité un moment avant de réserver cette villa pour 10 jours en octobre mais nous ne l’avons pas regretté. La maison est superbe : elle offre une belle vue, la terrasse est grande et bien aménagée. Elle offre tout le confort voulu : cuisine, coin repas, salle à manger/séjour, les chambres etc. Nous sommes habitués de louer des maisons afin de profiter de tout l’espace et de pouvoir vivre de façon autonome comme à la maison. Ici, l’hôte offre aussi les petits déjeuners : un peu comme un bed&breakfast. Nous avons décliné l’offre des petits-déjeuners après le premier matin afin de pouvoir nous lever à notre heure sans contrainte imposer à l’hôte. Mais, si vous préférez vous faire servir le petit-déjeuner, LaCinda vous le servira avec le plus grand des plaisirs. Elle est vraiment super accueillante et elle a préparé toute une documentation sur les endroits à visiter, les bons restaurants, les vignobles etc. C’est remarquable car je constate que de plus en plus cela ne se fait plus, hélas. Mais à la Villa Serena, l’hôte connaît la région et sait merveilleusement comment accueillir les gens. Bravo ! Aussi elle m’a fait redécouvrir le barbera, un cépage que j’avais eu ll’occasion de boire mais qui ne m’avait pas marqué juste qu’ici. LaCinda nous a offert à tous les jours un excellent barbera de la région Monferrato : vraiment délicieux ! Merci, j’ai adoré ce barbera. Bref, un séjour de 10 jours qui a passé trop vite. Maus, nous en avons bien profité en explorant tous les petits villages autour de Solonghello. Les paysages avec toutes ces petites collines et les vignobles plus les villages perchés en font un endroit remarquable. Et pas besoin de faire beaucoup de kilomètres tout est dans un rayon d’au plus 30 kilomètres. Je n’hésiterai pas à recommander cette villa à mes amis. Merci

Verwöhnurlaub pur

Wir waren als zwei Freundinnen bei La Cinda, die uns gleich zu Beginn herzlich empfangen hat. In der wunderschönen Wohnung hat sie uns jeden Morgen mit einem abwechslungsreichen Frühstück verwöhnt. Für abends gab es ihren herrlichen Rotwein. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und viel Zeit auf der wunderschönen Terrasse verbracht, die einen traumhaften Blick bietet. La Cinda hat uns zu einem italienischen 7 Gänge Menü, zum Markt und zu ihrem Lieblingsweingut begleitet und uns viele versteckte Dinge (big bench) der Umgebung gezeigt. Sie war eine phantastisches Gastgeberin mit großer Herzlichkeit und einer wunderschönen Wohnung.

Rust, ruimte en grote gastvrijheid

Casa Serena is inderdaad een sereen, rustgevend plekje! Grote kamers, heerlijke keuken en vooral de terrassen met prachtig uitzicht, waar we heerlijk konden eten., drinken en luieren. Daarbij nog de liefdevolle attenties van onze gastvrouw LaCinda, die zorgde voor heerlijk ontbijt, lekkere wijn en water en andere verrassingen. Prettige gesprekken, de uitgebreide documentatie en alle tips van LaCinda voor uitstapjes maakten deze week tot een week waar wij nog vaak aan zullen terug denken.

Alie and her husband are terrific guests! I have never had a couple leave the property so very clean, even after a full week stay. They are a delight and I would love to have them back in my home at anytime.

Villa mit Charme und Pep

Liebe LaCinda, wir haben zwei wundervolle Wochen in Ihrem Anwesen in Solonghello verbracht. Wir konnten uns leider nicht persönlich kennenlernen. Aber Sie haben uns durch Kim und Karl die besten Betreuer vor Ort zur Verfügung gestellt. Sie haben uns immer jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen und uns mit ganz tollen Tipps versorgt, sowohl bei der Planung von Ausflügen, als auch bei der Wahl von Restaurants u.ä. Ihr Anwesen hat uns vom ersten Tag an bezaubert, es ist einfach wunderschön. Die Fotos in Ihrer Anzeige bringen Ihr Haus bei weitem nicht so im Detail wieder, wie es in Wirklichkeit ist. Jeder Raum ist mit so viel Liebe zum Detail versehen, die Einrichtung der Küche lässt keine Wünsche übrig. Wir danken Ihnen, dass wir Ihre Feriengäste sein durften. Es war für uns der bislang schönste und mit Sicherheit unvergesslichste Urlaub in Italien. Die gemeinsame Zeit mit Kim und Karl möchten wir nicht missen. Das täglich servierte Frühstück und der abendliche Wein waren ein Gedicht. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Liebe Grüße Sabine, Peter, Jessi und Luca
