Loved the easy (small) beach access, where turtles came and basked in the sun every afternoon!

Lovely Place

Beautiful location and condo was very nice. Even with no AC in the unit it was comfortable at night with fans and windows open. During the day it gets a little warm but we were mostly outdoors. The views are beautiful! The resort property is gorgeous with tropical flowers and trees.

We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and BBQs and visiting with other vacationers after a busy day of playing. Our condo was very clean and comfortable with spectacular views of the ocean.

10 year wedding anniversary trip

Polynesian shores is a magical place and really worth what you pay! The grounds are so beautiful and it’s quiet. The sunsets from the pool area are gorgeous and although the beach isn’t ideal for swimming, there are turtles everywhere! We got to see some lounging in the sand on the beach next door, and we even snorkeled with the turtles right in front of the property. At one point we were surrounded by over 10 as they were feeding! The unit is simple and easy, no expensive finishes but you don’t need that. It’s all about the relaxation. The access to Napili bay, kapalua, and Lahaina were great. Cheap grocery store just down the road (supermarket times) and a food truck park there as well. Just north down the road is a great little public beach. We just loved every bit of staying here! The laundry access was easy to do a load and the designated parking spot for our unit made life easy. I was worried about no AC for our June stay but there was always a sea breeze to keep us cool. The other guests and tenants here are all so nice and friendly too. We will be staying here again as soon as we can return!

Love for this Island and its people

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved every second of our 50 nights stay. Maui and its people won our hearts many years ago and on the grounds of Polynesian Shores, Tonya, Eric and Bree were extremly friendly and helpful. Furthermore, the permanent residents made us home away from home even more. The apartment was clean, the kitchen and bath well equiped and the bed was very confortable which is very important to us. We will be back next year and we would never consider to stay somewhere else than Polynesian Shores when travelling to Maui. Mahalo for everything!!!

Peaceful Retreat

Amazing! Parking and getting there was super easy. Directions on check-in were simple and clear. Very serene and peaceful neighborhood right on the water. Close to a few neighborhoods, away from touristy spots, plenty of towels, and other amenities. The host was great, I didn't book enough days and they easily and promptly updated my reservation. 10/10.

We have changed units a few times throughout the years, depending on the size of our family traveling with us. This was our first trip alone. The property is perfect for a couple or family. We love the beautiful ocean view, pool and hot tub. We had a great time exploring the tide pools that are a short walk away from each unit and watching turtles and whales near by. We also looked forward to the amazing sunsets each evening. The tiki torches along the ocean were an added bonus. Our units have always felt very cozy and safe. We really enjoyed all the beautiful flowers and birds around the property. We will definitely stay again in the future.
